I have tried the alt/ctrl/shift to no avail. LR4 will display them correctly as will Windows Live Photo Gallery. I've deleted from catalog and re-imported with same result. Using the "update thumbnail" tool does not work. Some times it will display item as an MP3 file that shipped with PE11. The mp4 files were created with Cyberlink PD10.
View 3 RepliesI connect my iPhone to my PC and open Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer. I click Import and select my iPhone (using current iOS version). It searches and finds all photos. I click get media and I get the following error: "Elements cannot obtain files from this device. ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged, and try again."
I click Ok and the import fails.
In the attached screen shot you can see the import process about to begin, but the error box pop up over top.
I have a PhotoShop Elements with >12,000 images. I have keywords assigned and some are rated.
My computer has gone from WinXP to Win7. I have also had several different hard drive upgrades.
I currently have C:, D:, E: as available hard drives and F: and G: as Optical drives.
When I import, it has the correct number of photos, but thinks that everything is on F:. I believe that the E: drive used to be a different volume number previously.
I can manually refind every folder, but that will be very time consuming as I have around 100 folders.
Is there some way to say "Use E: instead of F:"
When you go to the Appearance Browser and go to our custom appearances, some of the thumbnails don't match what the appearance is actually set to. If you open up/edit the appearance it shows the correct appearance, but the thumbnail isn't displayed correctly.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am finding that the thumbnails for images to be imported from CF and SD cards (Sandisk Ultra and Extreme both 30MB/s) are taking a long time to appear in the import panel in LR5 - and much slower than they did for LR4.
I also get a lot of blank thumbnails as I scroll up and down the panel - sometimes in the middle of the group and sometimes at the top or bottom. These then eventually appear if I hold still on a block of thumbnails.
The most images I have tried to import at once is 155, (Canon 5D III) and I would guess that any more than this would be very slow indeed.
I'm using a Nikon D600; and often my imports contain hundreds of images shot Raw.

Why?
1) The phots are all 6x6 square
2) The photos are all TIFF format
3) The photos are of similar size approximately 136 MB each

I am trying to import pictures into Lightroom 5.2 and I am not able to. When I open the import window I don't get any thumbnails (pic below), but when i click on the images, I can see them fine. After I choose the file location and press import, it hangs up and never finishes. The picture of the Copy and Import Photos is attached too.

I pay for seriously expecting Corel staff members to not just read in here but to fix Corel programs' problems I report.But they do nothing.
Using Extension 1, I am importing an RGB Uncompressed clip with 8 channels of audio with 7&8 a stereo pair. Only the first 6 come in correctly, the 7th channel has no audio and is not marked as a stereo channel. The 8th channel is not shown at all.
I tested the same clip in Flame 2012 and all 8 channels import correctly.
When I select an image to paste in another image I am now only getting 1/4 of the image appearing as the paste selection.

I want my whole logo to be transparent. I have saved it png, png 24. And still nothing works. How to get this box to disappear. Just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong I took a photo and made the background transparent and took the selection that was not and put it into a different photo and the white square edge was still around it.

I have copied the search paths identical to those in Autocad 2002 in the tools>options>files in the support file search path, but to no avail.
The menu was developed by Andy Pease (Andy Acad) who is now with Autodesk.
Have stopped getting thumbnails for both new and edited photos.I reinstalled but it is still the same.

New places-tags are indicated with a small icon in the thumbnail.view, but not GPS-tagged and manually tagged pictures from PSE9 and earlier. It is very hard to see which pictures are already tagged when this does not work !
