View 11 RepliesI'm running CS2 and Camera Raw v3.6 which supports my Nikon D2Xs. When I load the CFcard into my reader the JPEG files show fine in Adobe Bridge but the RAW files on the same card only show as a NEF file name (no thumbnail). How do I get the thumbnails for these RAW images to show in Bridge?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAbout3 weeks ago I installed Photoshop 11 on my MacBook Air and everything seemed to be going OK ... I imported old Photoshop Elements 3 files and organized them into albums.Â

Recently most of the thumbnails are showing a question mark (?) in the corner and I'm getting messages about missing files and trying to re-connect missing files.
Why are the image thumbnails in the channels pallet not showing up as grayscale images? They used to, and for some reason or another aren't any more for me. Instead, they are showing up red, green, and blue for each respective channel. I'm on Mac, using CS6.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using Elements 7 with great satification for several years now, but recently, the picture thumbnails started to show up as an hourglass icon. I updated to Elements 11 and still had the same problem. I followed some direction I found online for eliminating the catague cache, and it fixed the problem in 11, but not in 7. Till I learn to use 11, I would like to continue to use 7, so how do I fix this problem in Elements 7?

Is this another glitch in LR5 on the mac (Imac)? I bought LR5 2-3 weeks ago and had series of problems and find Adobe non Responsive
Today when I was importing images off a memory card I noticed the thumbnails in library mode were not showing any previews, they were blank (gray) for only the recently imported items. My other folders' thumbnails are showing previews with no issue.
Â
I am working in Lightroom 4. I am using Windows 8 on a HP laptop.
Â
A couple of other notes about what I noticed...
Â
1. In the import screen the thumbnails display the preview.
2. Once the import goes to the Library Mode - thumbnails are blank. Can only see the image number and any symbols indicating tags or changes to the image.
3. Loupe view I cannot get an image to appear.
4. In the Develop Mode if I click on a thumbnail down in the filmstrip (which are all blank) an image will appear in the work area and the filmstrip thumbnail will display a preview of the one I selected. The thumbnail preview will remain visible for a few moments after moving to a new image. Then it just goes blank again.
5. I was importing jpegs and dngs. Having the same problem with both of these today.Â
6. All the other thumbnails in folders that were in the catalog prior to today are visible and working normally.
Â
newly imported images not displaying an image in the thumbnail whether it is in Library Mode, Loupe View, or Develop mode.
I just upgraded from 12 to x5 and for some reason it looks like Corel has chosen to make the file default to only showing the page as the thumbnail. Whereas before the entire file was displayed in thumbnail. This would work fine as long as you only want to keep your design elements all within the page frame, but I don't know one Corel Designer that does that. (only Word and Publisher users do that because they have to)

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get the same looking thumbnails for shapes in CS6 ?
Â
With previous versions I could get the position of the shape just by looking at the thumbnail in the layers palette but now they are only generic icons, I have tried to resize them and set panel options ( Thumbnails contents) but without any luck. It's really a problem if they are many shapes in the document.Â
I've been trying to post this so if it gets posted twice Just installed my new CS6 PS6 and where the thumbnail view is? I have to use Bridge to see the thumbnails which adds an extra step. I know the thumbnail view is probably still there, because they wouldn't delete something like that, I just can't find it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo sick of not being able to view PSD thumbnails, not even from the regular "OPEN FILE" dialog in Photoshop CS6.
View 18 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to open a file in PS6 (13.0.1 32 & 64) I can't see NEF thumbnails (Nikon D800). Files will open but I need to see thumbnails to be able to select the image easily. ACR v 7.3.0.71 is installed and I have checked that this is the latest version. I am able to see NEF thumbnail images in Lightroom 4.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing CS6, infrequently and inconsistently, the thumbnails are not accurate, appearing over exposed. This mostly occurs with jpgs, made from tifs/ psds, but on rare occasion has occurred in tif/ psd too. This is not a constant issue, and I cannot fathom a pattern. I can process several images at same time and only one might be affected. I have emptied my bridge cache, so that doesn't seem to contribute.
View 6 Replies View Relatedfrom several directories in cs3 bridge. the files are still there, and can be opened randomly, by simply clicking on the blank bridge screen. This is only a recent problem with three of the many directories of image files. Preferences are all set the same, and the files show up in explorer. None of the attributes are set to "hidden"?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to create thumbnails in PS? When I import my pictures off my memory stick, they are 2832x2128. When I try to scale it down to a thumbnail size, the proportions are thrown off. I seem to remember you could create thumbnails in either PS or ImageReady,
View 6 Replies View RelatedNo developments on this I suppose? I thought maybe that with Windows 7 MS might have reached an agreement with Adobe but it seems not as psd icons still show the generic logo. Bridge is irritating with W7 as you can't get into "Libraries" - their contents won't show. I keep hoping that one day we'll get back the thumbnails in Explorer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can see the thumbnails of most pictures in my folders but I can't see my PSD thumbnails. What can I do to change this?
I'm running Windows XP and Photoshop CS2.
My old laptop tried to self-destruct, so I was forced to move a huge amount of art files to a new laptop. Now, I have no thumbnails in Photoshop (PS3 using XP Professional) and oddly enough, it appears that often entire folders and files aren't showing up when they're actually there. The only thing I'm seeing is the PSD logo. .tifs, .jpgs, and other formats aren't even showing up as being on the disk.
I've gone through all settings that I know of and can't seen to find the 'fix'.
I was watching a J. Kost flash turorial and she selected the option to change the size of layer thumbnails and the options showed samples next to the size selection circles. When I went to change the size of my layer thumbnails all I saw were selection circles and no size sample pictures next to them. Is that a PC vs Mac thing or is something missing from my version of CS4? I believe I saw thumbnail sample sizes in CS3.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI used to work on Photoshop Elements and would generally have around 20 images / files open that I was manipulating.Â
They would appear at the bottom of the screen as thumbnails so I could easily chop and change from each one.
Now I have the full blown photoshop and can only seem to cascade each image / file I have open as tiles on the screen.Â
Is there a way to have them as thumnails down the bottom so thay are all permanently visible?
I'm on WinXp, using PS 7.
In Windows, my preferred folder view is "thumbnails". Some of my Photoshop psd images show as thumbnails, but others don't, they just show as the psd logo. The ones that show as thumbails are older images I haven't opened in a long time. Any new psd image I save will only display the logo as a thumb, and if I open an old image that does have a thumbnail and work on it and save it again, no thumbnail, just the psd logo displays.
It's really inconvient not being able to see the thumbs of what each image is. What's the trick to getting them back to all showing thumbs?
