Suddenly after years of countless edits, I am no longer getting the version icon after saving. I have both 'Include in Organizer' and 'Save in Version Set with Original' checked, yet when I return to Organizer, I still see the original file. After countless F5 refreshes and hunting other possible fixes I looked in explorer and discovered 'edit_1'. 2, 3, 4, etc. Going to Organizer > Edit > 'Version Set' or 'Stack'

I've been using custom profiles that I created using a ColourChecker Passport for sometime now. I just updated LR and ACR to the latest versions, and I've noticed that they are no longer selectable under the Camera Calibration tab - I just get the standard list of profiles for my camera (Nikon D7000).
I checked in the the relevant folder for LR and they weren't there, but they are in the ACR folder. I copied them across to the LR folder as well, but this has had no effect. In both cases, they're in the root-level folder for all profiles, so in LR's case, they're in C:Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.3/resources /CameraProfiles. This is where both the CCP and Adobe DNG Profile Editor have previoulsy placed them by default - I've never needed to place them in the actual camera model folder itself. Both applications have always found them there without issue.
I have Photoshop CS 6. Every time I start the computer and I start Photoshop the trial message saying how many days are left to buy it comes up. I do not have a trial version and even though I put my serial number, the message comes up.
They, at Photoshop have installed and uninstall the program 3 times with no success. How do I get rid of this message?
Can the interface menus and icons be set a little larger in 64bit Photoshop version CS6 ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedBack in the day, there was an application that showed the drawing version # in the icon in windows explorer. That was good for then, because of the lack of object data in many of the vertices. The link I have isn't valid anymore and it didn't work in Win7.
What I'd like to have is something that will show the different Acad versions related to the icon using the product ID, for example:
ACAD-5xxx = 2007
ACAD-6xxx = 2008
ACAD-7xxx = 2009
ACAD-8xxx = 2010
ACAD-9xxx = 2011
then in 2012 they changed to Axxx
2013 = Bxxx (???) I dont' have 2013 loaded
2014 = Dxxx (what happened to Cxxx?)
With the lack of backward compatibility between versions for objects (and I totally get that), it would be nice to be able to tell by an icon which version was used to create the drawing. I know the version information is stored in the header, which can be read, I'm just not a programmer.
After the installation of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on my new system, the catalogs of version 10 do not appear for the conversion to version 11; my 2 catalogs are installed on a LACIE-2BIG NAS system.

When I select an image to paste in another image I am now only getting 1/4 of the image appearing as the paste selection.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried the alt/ctrl/shift to no avail. LR4 will display them correctly as will Windows Live Photo Gallery. I've deleted from catalog and re-imported with same result. Using the "update thumbnail" tool does not work. Some times it will display item as an MP3 file that shipped with PE11. The mp4 files were created with Cyberlink PD10.

I want my whole logo to be transparent. I have saved it png, png 24. And still nothing works. How to get this box to disappear. Just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong I took a photo and made the background transparent and took the selection that was not and put it into a different photo and the white square edge was still around it.

In my PSE10 catalog, I have a highly structured event tag tree for 30,000 pictures and videos covering 15 years. This tree has annual main categories and then numerous events in 2nd level subcategories under each year. Below that are tags for which camera/person took the picture as well as other tags for videos, panorama-segments etc. Altogether there are probably several hundred or more subcategories. After importing the catalog into PSE 12 all of these subcategories show up in the top level display causing massive duplication that scrolls for 12 or more screens.
The PSE12 event tab is useless if it can only display every subcategory all at once in a flattened format. I also do not see any way to move these subcategories out of the events tag area and into the keyword tag area to eliminate clutter.

The last few days my file preview icons on my computer are looking strange. Before they used to be a smaller version of the image, now they look blurry with a black frame around them. The jpeg file itself is fine when I open it in preview or back into PSE, I havn't changed any settings and I am always saving it at the highest resolution.

However, when I open my photos( I have a Canon Rebel T2i so the file extension is .CR2), it says, "processing Camera RAW file" and then opens the photo in the full edit mode instead of the Camera RAW dialog box. I checked my plug-in, and I have version 6.7 of the Camera RAW plug in. I'd really like to start working with Camera RAW! Oh, and I am working abroad for a couple months and do not have my installation disks with me, so uninstalling and re-installing PSE is not an option.

I know about to make sure just one or the other is the default email client but it won't work. I could most definately have missed some setting that needs changed but don't know which one apparently. I get the message when trying to send a photo email, "Elements 11 organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working, windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".
