Photoshop Elements :: Loading Actions - How To Get Icon From The Maker To Show As Icon In Palette
Oct 22, 2012When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?

Photoshop :: Macintosh CS Font
Jul 11, 2006I downloaded a sweet font FFXSpiran.ttf. As we all know, Macontosh reads dfont and so on.
Well, magically, the font works great in Painter IX, but will not show up in PSCS. I used my FontBook to disable quite a few fonts(that's what they said to do at Adobe.Com), well, it didn't work, or I wouldn't be here.
I can select it from the font menu in the program, but when I go to type anything, it's blank. When I move away from the text layer, it will display the letters I typed, but it's still blank. It's quite frustrating.
Premiere Pro :: CC Crashes On Icon View
Apr 21, 2014I work with the latest version (7.2.2) of the application on a Windows PC.My configurations are the following:
Intel i7 2600k @ 3.40 GHz
16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz
120GB SSD Samsung 840 Series Basic
Sapphire ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB VRAM
I have the latest drivers installed.The crash occurs as soon as I try to switch from list view to icon view in my project browser. The thumbnails come up but Premiere crashes with a serious problem notification shortly after (no further infos whatsoever).
I've tested my RAM by using MEMtest86: No errors. I have narrowed it down to my graphic card. I plugged it out for testing and had no problems with the icon view. The graphic card has currently the AMD Beta-Driver (14.3 Beta) but that didn't work. Before that I had the 13.12 version installed. I've also tried switching the Open_CL Support off.

Feb 24, 2006i have been trying to create mac desktop icons using the "Photoshop PICT Resource File" and it works all right, but i lose any transparency one the image is saved.
I have tried using various icon programs (IconBuilder, etc) but they never seem to work for me.
Since i am on a Mac, standerd icon programs just dont cut it, because im looking to create high-quality icons like those found on Pixel Girl (a great resource for both Mac + Windows Icons).
I am far from a beginner, but i can't seem to find any tutuorials that apply to this topic.

Most of my views have been crosed over by a red line in the Model browser window (se attachment) What does this red line meen?
Also, all the views with the red line have been set to Raster View Only. I can untick it without problems, but when I click OK and reopen the dialog the checkmark is back on.
How come inventor turns this mark on by itself?

I do have a few plugins installed that I purchased from Video Co-Pilot and Mocha AE. But I can't imagine those plug-ins were the culprit. However, I did rename my Hard Drive prior to the not-loading problem.
Could renaming my Macintosh HD have had an effect on that?

Jan 9, 2014Today I purchased Photoshop Elements 12, went through the installation process, and it should be ready to begin editing. However, whenever I attempt to open Photoshop, nothing happens. My OS is Windows 7; I click the icon onmy taskbar, and the cursor shows that it is loading, the icon is highlighted, but then the loading symbol stops and the icon highlight disappears. When I attempt to open a file using PSE, the loading banner appears, but shortly thereafter, I receive an alert saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editorhas stopped working" and under it, it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" and the only available option it "Close program." I had this exact issue with PSE 7, and figured that purchasing an updated version might fix this problem. Evidently, I was mistaken. This is a very serious issue, as I am a graphic designer (creating logos, posters, programs, etc) and use Photoshop for this purpose. I have been using Elements for years, but only recently has this problem arisen. This is, of course, infuriating, as I have paid $70 for a program that doesn't even work.

Then for most of the images when I add a tag the album icon is gone and is replaced by a beige tag icon. But for some of the images, when I add the tag I get separate green album and blue tag icons. Why do i get different icon combinations depending on the image?
