I have had Photoshop on my desktop for a couple of years with no problem. But when I now click it, nothing happens but a 20 sec wait, then nothing. I have checked the program files and Photoshop is still there with 368 MB.
Purchased from Adobe via internet. Akamai interface downloaded and then Photoshop Elements 11. Both icons on Mac desktop. Double clicking on PE 11 does not launch program. Is it fully downloaded? I get Read Me file in four languages as well as a PE 11 icon after double clicking the desktop icon.
My CS4 shortcut icon has disappeared from my desktop and I have a generic Windows 7 icon left instead. I have tried rebooting to re-create the proper shortcut icon but always get just the generic one. I am running Windows 7 RC1 and have no problems with CS4. Grateful for any ideas on how to get back the proper CS4 icon.
I downloaded the awesome 3ds Max for my film projects.It was good for a few days, it was good in the morning, but in the afternoon something happen. Desktop icon, disappeared. I cant get into the software. I tried going to program files and autodesk folders, got nothing.
I had safelifeapp virusing my comp so i may have tampered with something and it probably messed it up.I'm looking to find a way to get back into the program somehow.
I downloaded the LR5.3 file: Lightroom_5_LS11_mac_5.3.dmg and then clicked on the file to open it. After installing, the Lightroom 5.3 icon appears on the top right of my Mac desktop, however, when i open Lightroom from Finder>Applications it still shows LR5.2C. So I clicked on the LR5.3 icon on the top right of my screen and it gives me the original box that I already clicked to install LR5.3.
I've got LR 5.3, and PS CC. This is a new LR install. I'm trying to import from an SD card, and when I hit the LR desktop icon for the app, I get a small window asking me to "CHoose a Different Catalogue" or "Create a New Cataloague. The "Open" button is greyed-out. The large "Select a recent catalogue" window is empty. When I go the the SD card under my computer, all I can do is open it to a folder containing the images, and the only option is "Save", not "Open". But nothing happens when I hit the Save button.
Lightroom 3.6 icon disappear from desktop and startmenu. The operating system is Windows 7 Home. The icon disappeare after a couple of weeks. I need to repare the installation.
Have just bought boxed version VSx3 and unable to get to use!! every time that it says install finished i click corel VS icon on desktop and my pc reboots have tried 4 removals with the coral clean utility and registry edit removal of keys to no avail.
Clicking on the desktop icon provided by the install of Pspx4 has the splash image appear briefly then a 'not going to do it' message box followed by Win7 'there is a problem, progam is being closed' message box.Created my own shortcut from the Pspx4 exe and the same thing happened.Using the listing in the Start Menu 'All Programs' will start PspX4.
There is no problem exporting an image from Lightroom 4 to be opened in Pspx4. That happens without fault.I applied 'run as administrator' to the shortcut I created and now that will open the software as expected.
In Microsoft windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit when PDF is created in Coreldraw X6 64 bit PDF Icon dont shows Thumbnail on Desktop. I can see the thumbnails from other's PDF
When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?
I am experiencing two problems. One is the tool icons in Photoshop are disappearing on the screen. I move the cursor and see nothing on my screen.
The second problem is at other times the proper tool icon and function is not showing up and working. I select for example the pen tool and the hand tool icon show up and the function works as the hand tool not the pen tool?
After retirement my wife and I travel with a laptop that collects our photos into PSE. When we return home I'd like to sync all of the photos and PSE edits to my desktop for color editing. I am using Windows 7&8 as OS's.
Photoshop Elements 12 opens with the top portion of the window not available on my Mavericks desktop. Without access to the top bar of the window I'm unable to reposition the window. Rebooting the computer and re-starting the program doesn't reset its position. The top of the window is not visible on a secondary monitor either.
On PE 9 there was a way to make the window (area within tool/layer/toolbar frame) transparent so the desktop would be visible. Can this be done for PE 11? The default is gray and I can't find any setting to make it transparent.
I have a Canon EOS Rebel T4i and am using Photoshop Elements 11. I have successfully been uploading images, raw and jpeg until yesterday. There is no plug in sound when I wire to the USB port and my images will not upload. However, they load successfully to my laptop.
