Purchased from Adobe via internet. Akamai interface downloaded and then Photoshop Elements 11. Both icons on Mac desktop. Double clicking on PE 11 does not launch program. Is it fully downloaded? I get Read Me file in four languages as well as a PE 11 icon after double clicking the desktop icon.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop CS5 will not launch either from the desktop or program list. The only way to launch is to log out and restart the computer. At the end of each session I reset the preferences in the Workspace. I am running Win 7 ultimate with 4GB of ram. System is 64 bit . Display is ATI Radeon HD 5700 series. Adapter type is AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x68B8). The computer has an Intel(R) series/3400 Chipset Family.
When I installed from the disk I received the message Exit Code 6, 0 fatal errors, 21 errors, 1 warning. I have reinstalled several times and still get the same message. Tried disabling start up items while installing but same message.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got LR 5.3, and PS CC. This is a new LR install. I'm trying to import from an SD card, and when I hit the LR desktop icon for the app, I get a small window asking me to "CHoose a Different Catalogue" or "Create a New Cataloague. The "Open" button is greyed-out. The large "Select a recent catalogue" window is empty. When I go the the SD card under my computer, all I can do is open it to a folder containing the images, and the only option is "Save", not "Open". But nothing happens when I hit the Save button.

I created the icon and command, I added the following to the command line:

Originally I tried using single slashes (/), but it still gives the same error. It seems to have trouble with the spaces in the file path. How do I work around that?
I just downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CC to try the new stuff (I was still on CS before).I deleted CS by dragging the "Adobe Photoshop CS" Folder to the trash and then I installed PSCC.But when I open the program, it says (French translation, may not be English accurate) : "Unable to launch Photoshop CC because of a program error".
I looked up on forums that said to delete preferences or else, disk repair, uninstalling-reinstalling, but still, I get the same message again and again.Did I forget to delete a file to uninstall PSCS ?

I had x1 Illustrator file open at the same time as I launched the Ps app. I had to close the .ai file and re-try opening Photoshop again. There are a lot of little glitches with CS6 that I'm encountering more & more of. Is this common? or just a local problem with my hardware?I'm running Windows XP (32bit) with the latest service pack, & all CS6 apps were downloaded via Adobe Application manager.

I downloaded the LR5.3 file: Lightroom_5_LS11_mac_5.3.dmg and then clicked on the file to open it. After installing, the Lightroom 5.3 icon appears on the top right of my Mac desktop, however, when i open Lightroom from Finder>Applications it still shows LR5.2C. So I clicked on the LR5.3 icon on the top right of my screen and it gives me the original box that I already clicked to install LR5.3.

After a while I took it off my backup, and now I need it there again so I can travel with it. I went into my account and downloaded it onto the backup computer. It appeared as a blue photoshop square logo with a disc image in the right hand corner. When I opened it all it contained was language options and no other options. I double clicked on English and it opened to a folder containing 'Goodies' and that's all. No installation protocols. Also there was an icon looking like a Text edit icon with a hard drive icon superimposed on it, I double clicked it and all I got was the language selection again. I'm running mac 10.5.8 on a Mac Book.

There is no problem exporting an image from Lightroom 4 to be opened in Pspx4. That happens without fault.I applied 'run as administrator' to the shortcut I created and now that will open the software as expected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded and installed Designer Pro 7 on a windows 7 64 bit laptop but when I launch the program it appears to start(I get a spinning disk) then fails to appear. No splash screen, error message or interface...and in task manager it shows designer pro as using 1 core of the cpu (25%). I installed DesignerPro with no virus checkers turned off and I'm running it as administrator but no luck.
