Nov 2, 2013I tried 3 times to update Photoshop CC and it failed each time. Now the program will not launch. Do I need to re-install the program?

Jun 24, 2013Photoshop CS6 has suddenly failed to launch. The window (tabs, icons) open for about 3 seconds, then quits, and I get the typical error message saying that Photoshop has unexpectedly quit I'm on OS 10.6.8.

AutoCAD 2010 :: OLE (Excel) Failed To Launch Server App
Aug 20, 2010I just installed Autocad 2011. I have Excel tables in one of my drawings that was in Autocad 2004.
However, with new 2011, I can not bring the OLE to Excel where I want to edit.
I got "OLE Failed to launch server app" error message.
I search around. It seems that I need to try the command "OLELINKS". But my OLELINKS under EDIT is DISABLED!

Oct 30, 2013I just downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CC to try the new stuff (I was still on CS before).I deleted CS by dragging the "Adobe Photoshop CS" Folder to the trash and then I installed PSCC.But when I open the program, it says (French translation, may not be English accurate) : "Unable to launch Photoshop CC because of a program error".
I looked up on forums that said to delete preferences or else, disk repair, uninstalling-reinstalling, but still, I get the same message again and again.Did I forget to delete a file to uninstall PSCS ?

"Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error"
I had x1 Illustrator file open at the same time as I launched the Ps app. I had to close the .ai file and re-try opening Photoshop again. There are a lot of little glitches with CS6 that I'm encountering more & more of. Is this common? or just a local problem with my hardware?I'm running Windows XP (32bit) with the latest service pack, & all CS6 apps were downloaded via Adobe Application manager.
Photoshop :: CS5 Not Launch Either From Desktop Or Program List?
Oct 26, 2012Photoshop CS5 will not launch either from the desktop or program list. The only way to launch is to log out and restart the computer. At the end of each session I reset the preferences in the Workspace. I am running Win 7 ultimate with 4GB of ram. System is 64 bit . Display is ATI Radeon HD 5700 series. Adapter type is AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x68B8). The computer has an Intel(R) series/3400 Chipset Family.
When I installed from the disk I received the message Exit Code 6, 0 fatal errors, 21 errors, 1 warning. I have reinstalled several times and still get the same message. Tried disabling start up items while installing but same message.

Jun 5, 2008URL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.

Sep 16, 2013Purchased from Adobe via internet. Akamai interface downloaded and then Photoshop Elements 11. Both icons on Mac desktop. Double clicking on PE 11 does not launch program. Is it fully downloaded? I get Read Me file in four languages as well as a PE 11 icon after double clicking the desktop icon.

Jun 9, 2011complete Corel X4 uninstall 3 times already .... even went so far as to reboot the registry to a date before I installed Corel X4 Suite to no avail.
The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems

Jul 26, 2011I've just upgraded and installed Designer Pro 7 on a windows 7 64 bit laptop but when I launch the program it appears to start(I get a spinning disk) then fails to appear. No splash screen, error message or interface...and in task manager it shows designer pro as using 1 core of the cpu (25%). I installed DesignerPro with no virus checkers turned off and I'm running it as administrator but no luck.

I just got a message that Corel Draw had to stop, do you want to sent an error message etc. I used the disk to try to do a repair, removed the program and reinstalled it a couple of times and still get the same message.

May 21, 2012The inital thread was created because Adobe Illustrator from CS6, downloaded via the Creative Cloud, quits unexpectedly upon launch everytime. However, all of the other desktop apps I downloaded work perfectly.

I then have to select File > Open but now the program defaults to a folder called My Pictures. I store my images in my own folder elsewhere. I would like to set my folder to be the default folder. I have to navigate to my folder ever time I launch the tool. If I go to File > Preferences, I do not see a place where I can change the setting.

The computer is a new HP desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 operating system. Feb 2, 2014I'm trying to change "capture time" of multiple photos to a specific time.
I know that there is "Edit Capture Time" feature under Metadata. But when I try to edit multiple photos, it says that "Modify the capture time stored in the selected photos by entering the correct time adjustment for the photo displayed to the left. Other photos (but not vidieos) will be adjusted by the same amount of time". And it really does.
For example,
If A file's capture time is 1/11/2011
B file's capture time is 1/11/2012
C file's capture time is 1/11/2013
I would like to change their capture time to 1/11/2014. All the three files.
But the current "Edit Capture Time" feature of Lightroom just adds three years to each file like this:
A file's capture time -> 1/11/2014
B file -> 1/11/2015
C file -> 1/11/2016
So their capture times remain as different ones. And this is not I want...
I've googled a lot and tried several programs other than lightroom as well, but the "Capture time" recognized by lightroom could not be changed by other programs.
