My users are reporting that 2014 64 bit VBA crashes on program launch randomly.
I have 12 to 14 apps written in VBA. Randomly they crash when the user trys to run them.
Sometimes they load and work fine other times they crash inventor without reporting an error.
why photoshop would just crash in the middle of working or using tool or making a selection. It just stops and has an option to debug or close program and loses what you worked on since the last save and you have to restart the program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had both Inventor 2012 and 2013 (and entire Product design suite of both program versions) installed on my Win 7 64 bit Dell Precision Laptop, all working flawlessly. On recieving a copy of 2014 I decided to uninstall Inventor 2012 which I carried out through Add/Remove programs in Windows 7. Then I tried to launch Inventor 2013 and got an 0xc0000005 system error as per attachment 1.
I then went through the entire removal process to completely remove Autodesk products to do a fresh install of Autodesk 2014. This worked out and I did everything exactly as suggested here... [URL]
Then I disabled my Avast virus checker and stopped the process via task manager.
I then did a complete fresh install by right clicking on the Setup file on the Product design Suite 2014 dongle and choosing "open as administator" which I started without any issues. The installation then stopped while installing INventor 2014 with a 1406 error as per attachment 2. I searched the registry for the file mentioned in attachment 2 and deleted it from the registry and clicked retry and the installation finished without any further errors. I then restarted my computer and launched Inventor and again I recieved the 0xc0000005 error.
I then updated Inveontor with the DL21503391 update 1 from here... [URL]
I then updated 360.
I then tried to relaunch Inventor by right clicking and choosing "run as administrator" and proceeded to get the error 0xc0000005 as per attachement 1.
Obviously uninstalling 2012 is where the system 0xc0000005 issue began. I am trying to avoid a fresh Win 7 install.
we've just migrated to the 2014 release of the inventor suite and use vault basic. With the 2014 version of inventor the program immediately crashes when attempting to open an autocad dwg. Inventor dwg files open fine. We never experienced this issue in our previous release. We only use the dwg format and because the preview is not always available it often happens that we open an autocad dwg in inventor and vice versa. Crash is reproduced on multiple maches.

This is my demo machine and I find that Inventor 2014 is randomly crashing. (Bad news in front of a customer)!
This happens when I am working in another application whilst Inventor is in the background with a model open.
Inventor will then randomly crash. I don't get the Autodesk crash report - I get the window that states - do I want to close the app , debug or whatever.
I am running the new auto cad civil 3d 2014, downloaded from the design suite premium. I have left all of the programs installed (as a I saw that a few people chose to uninstall several of the programs). I am running auto cad on an @xi workstation, 4.1ghz processor, 16gb corsair vengence heatspred ram, 240gb ssd operating drive, 2tb storage raid 0 configuration storage drives, NVIDIA K2000 graphics card. It took me a while to configure the graphics settings within auto cad due to the high resolution, text is being portayed as small in some cases, commands are huge in others.
I am still adjusting all of those, however my real problem is that when I open certain drawings the program immediatly goes to not responding, and when I am working back and forth and trying to open multiple drawings it does the same. Just opening the program off of my desktop on a cold-start up takes maybe 15 seconds to be fully functional, the same with certain drawings. However others just seem to not want to be opened. This occurs with drawings large and small. Some large drawings open perfectly while some small ones crash, and vice versa. What could be the cause of this?
I bought CS6 upgrade from CS5 this week but it keeps randomly crashing I mainly use CS6 for digital art with my wacom intuos tablet. I have never had this problem with CS5 and I have a decent spec PC with 8 GB Ram and a quadcore CPU so I dont understand why this is happening. In the preferences menu I have save in backround and automatically save information every 10 minutes options checked. But the ironic thing is that when I have been drawing a long time and Photoshop crashes and when I reopen CS6 there is no recovery file and the origional file hasnt been updated with auto save. I have 7 different versions of a particular digital painting I have been working on but CS6 only saved 2 recovery files from the 7 versions and has crashed atleast 16 times between my work. I have CS6 updated to the latest version from online update but the problem still persists.

I have just load and reloaded 2014 LT upgrade and I am getting 0xc00007b error message. I am running win 7 Pro 64 bit.
I notice this is a common error with Autodesk products?
When using CorelDraw x5 the program seems to just randomly close, with no error message or freezing. It just disappears from the screen and I have to re-open it. I cannot pin point when it is doing it, because it keeps closing upon random tasks, not like it closes every time I try the same thing like saving.

Tash manager shows a Acbrowserhost.exe--memory consumption thatcontinuously increases. A co-worker can open the same drawing in AutoCad 2011 LT with no issues. Before the Service Pack was installed, I wasn't having any issues.

No splash screen, error message or interface...and in task manager it shows designer pro as using 1 core of the cpu (25%). I installed DesignerPro with no virus checkers turned off and I'm running it as administrator but no luck.

I looked up on forums that said to delete preferences or else, disk repair, uninstalling-reinstalling, but still, I get the same message again and again.Did I forget to delete a file to uninstall PSCS ?

I had x1 Illustrator file open at the same time as I launched the Ps app. I had to close the .ai file and re-try opening Photoshop again. There are a lot of little glitches with CS6 that I'm encountering more & more of. Is this common? or just a local problem with my hardware?I'm running Windows XP (32bit) with the latest service pack, & all CS6 apps were downloaded via Adobe Application manager.
I tried 3 times to update Photoshop CC and it failed each time. Now the program will not launch. Do I need to re-install the program?
View 1 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop CS5 will not launch either from the desktop or program list. The only way to launch is to log out and restart the computer. At the end of each session I reset the preferences in the Workspace. I am running Win 7 ultimate with 4GB of ram. System is 64 bit . Display is ATI Radeon HD 5700 series. Adapter type is AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x68B8). The computer has an Intel(R) series/3400 Chipset Family.
When I installed from the disk I received the message Exit Code 6, 0 fatal errors, 21 errors, 1 warning. I have reinstalled several times and still get the same message. Tried disabling start up items while installing but same message.
My program was running fine. I did not use it for a month or so and when I went to use it last week it would not launch. I just got a message that Corel Draw had to stop, do you want to sent an error message etc. I used the disk to try to do a repair, removed the program and reinstalled it a couple of times and still get the same message.

Purchased from Adobe via internet. Akamai interface downloaded and then Photoshop Elements 11. Both icons on Mac desktop. Double clicking on PE 11 does not launch program. Is it fully downloaded? I get Read Me file in four languages as well as a PE 11 icon after double clicking the desktop icon.

I have the original Photoshop CS on an old Mac with OS 10.5.8. The program had been working fine for ages. Now, all of a sudden when I try to launch it the program crashes. It's defaulting to the Finder view, but I can't even close that out before the program quits. I have tried to launch it by opening a file and that does not work either.
I even uninstalled and re-installed the program and it still crashed.
Out of the blue, whenever I use live trace, it crashes my Illustrator and I have to force quit. I have tried all different sized jpegs, big and small, force quit.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI edited a wedding video that is over 90 minutes long (it was a wedding in Ireland). It was filmed in AVCHD on a pro video camera.
I wanted to produce a standard DVD and a Blu Ray copy to send over. The DVD copy rendered fine but the Blu Ray as well as the AVCHD file crashed every time and even crashed the computer to re-start. It crashed at around 30% in and I tried a number of different combinations to accomplish this render.
What I then did after a few attempts was to look at the last frame of the couple of files it did render to see where on the time line it was crashing.
It turned out it was on a transition I customised, I think using proDAD VitaScene. It was a transition that created a twinkling star effect from one scene to the next. As soon as I removed this one transition and it rendered a Blu Ray file with no problems at all.
One question though, I am not sure why there are so many choices of Blu Ray and AVCHD in the menu. What is the difference and which one would be the generally used one.
Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.
Elements 11 was just installed on my lap top and is crashing while using organization part of program. No error message.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn one of the assemblies I'm editing I have a rule where the parameter changed formats on me. It went from something normal like:
Parameter("Name:1", "Name")=36 to a format like: p534g9_86=36.
How i might be able to track down what was being pointed at so I can correct it? I looked through the assembly and part file parameters but can't find where 36 is being plugged in at.
Anyway, I just updated to the Factory Design Suite Advanced package for 2011 which, of course, includes Inventor. I have downloaded and installed all updates, service packs and hotfixes I could find btw. What happens is I'll be working in Inventor on a solid model of ANY size (even a single part) and with absolutely no warning, the display window will freeze up and won't refresh. What's really weird though is that Inventor itself is not locked up. I can click on any of the buttons or any of the items shown in the browser as though the program's running normally. I can check the task manager and it shows Inventor to be running normally. The memory status bar in Inventor shows lots of available memory. I can even hover over the display window in the area where the view steering wheel is located and the icon will change appearance as though it's working normally. I can even save the file. If I close the file, it responds like normal and goes back to the default screen. If I try to open ANY file after that, however, the screen will not refresh or show me the file I opened, even though everything else works fine and the program isn't frozen. The only way to restore full function is to completely close and reopen Inventor (on average I have to do this about once an hour). Btw, I'm also working in a local directory stored on my hard drive, not a network.
My first inkling is that it's a graphics issue but I have played with all the display settings to no avail. I ran a diagnostic on the video card and Inventor says that I'm running an Autodesk Certified driver. All the specs are within reason I think.
