Aug 8, 2013I'm using PSE 11 on a MacBook Pro. My Blue Skies have too much green in them for my preference. I'm sure there is a way to change this, but how? Also, can I change the default 'blue skies' to something more to my liking for a long-lasting remedy?

Second problem:
On another computer, from time to time the delete function of Autocad is no longer functional. We need each time between Pickfirst = 1 and that works.How to ensure that this function does not disappear?
Third problem:
On another computer, the user activates the 3D profile, he selects his palette, and when he clicks on the "more"window, autocad error appears "Error Report Autodesk,..." . Is it possible to display all palettes?

Jul 13, 2013I found out how to do this recently so I decided that I wanted to make a tut for those who don't know how to make an icon image. This icon image is for the libraries tab on your computer. Under the libraries tab there is Music, Pictures, Documents, and Photos
First you will need the ICO (Icon image format) Format extension for Photoshop which can be downloaded here:

The download link and tutorial on how to install it is all in the link above. Once you have that all set you can now launch Photoshop to create your icon image. Once you have launched it, create a new document with the size as in the image below.

Create the image you want. I used a simple one by using the custom shape tool by pressing "U" on your keyboard and with the basic blending options.

The reason why the image is pixelated is because it is an icon image. Since the image is only 256x256 pixels when you zoom in on it that will get you the pixely result. The reason why I zoomed in is so you can see it. But don't worry this is no the end result. Just continue reading and you will see.
So once you have created the icon go ahead and press
file>save as>(under format choose the ICO)>and choose the name that you want to name it. And save it in your C: drive. You will see why to save it in your C: drive in a sec.

So now that you have created the icon and saved it now you can create the new library.

Name the library whatever you want I named it "Sample" for tutorial purposes. Notice how it gives you a default boring icon image for your library.

So now once you have created and named your library now it is time to get the icon image into place. Go to computer/c: Drive/users/YOU/ And now once you have reached this area you will need to access a hidden folder named "appdata" to do so press "Alt" then a menu bar will show. Click tools>folder options>and view. Find the option to view hidden folders then press apply then ok. Now we shall continue so AppData>Roaming>Microsoft>Windows>Libraries
Now you should see all the libraries including the one you just created.

Once you have reached your destination then open a new text document with notepad and drag the library you just created in notepad. The result should look like this:

once you have reached this point click at the end of the second to last line down then press enter and enter in this information

Once you have entered that information go to file>save and the icon image should appear on the library you created.

Apr 20, 2012I've got a problem with simulating a benchframe. The frame is attached to the car's body with 4 flat braces. I now want to attach the braces to the benchframe, but leave them to be able to rotate from each other.
I have fixed them to the body using a pin constraint, which works pretty straight forward but I'm not able to get this working on the side of the benchframe.
I have placed 4 pins, to allign the components and assigned manual contacts with "sliding/no separation" but now the whole construction doesnt move sideways in the X-direction and enormous stresses are developed because the benchframe is not deforming either. I have assigned every contact point and surfaces between the benchframe and the braces as "sliding/no separation".

Jun 15, 2012I have a catalog with all photos imported from a trip I just got back from. But when I compare the catalog to the actual photos in the folder, there are 104 pics missing from the catalog. If I try to sync the catalog, it says 104 pics need to be imported, but the import process says there are no new photos.
I created a new catalog and tried to import the folder again, but its still missing the same 104 pictures.

Paint.NET :: Make The Signature Darker Blue
May 21, 2012I wrote my signature on piece of paper, then scanned it in, removed the white background, leaving just the signature in blue ink on a transparent background and saved it as a .gif. HOWEVER, I need to make the signature darker blue. I've used clipping masks in the past, but cannot figure how to do this in Paint.net.
I made duplicate copy of the original .gif, then created a layer and filled it with a darker blue. What do I do from here so that when I put the layers together the signature is darker, but the background is still translucent?
