I took photos at a wedding over the weekend. The river behind was a perfect setting however, the water was brown from recent rain. I'm using Elements 11 and I'm wanting to know if there is a way to make the water look less brown and more blue?

Notice when the land object moves to the left, the blue water kind of ripples and flickers at the edge. Do you know what is happening and how to resolve this? The land is a a box with a good number of subdivisions with a displacement map making the height of the land. It is the animated displacement map and textures that make the land look like its moving over to the left. There are no bump maps. The water is just a long flat box with many subD's
I have tried increaing the subD's in both water and land objects , but nothing. The animated displacement map should not be producing such jitteriness like this. The grey scale image for the map is very smooth with soft gradients. I rendered with MR, 1/16 sampling, jitteriness checked,

View 1 Replies View RelatedI wrote my signature on piece of paper, then scanned it in, removed the white background, leaving just the signature in blue ink on a transparent background and saved it as a .gif. HOWEVER, I need to make the signature darker blue. I've used clipping masks in the past, but cannot figure how to do this in Paint.net.
I made duplicate copy of the original .gif, then created a layer and filled it with a darker blue. What do I do from here so that when I put the layers together the signature is darker, but the background is still translucent?

You can see that in the image there are couple of patches of red and blue color separated by while lines. Now inside one of these colored patches (which is isolated form another patch by a combination of above mentioned white lines and the boundary of the image itself), the color is either red or blue. This color does not look uniform because this image is a scan of a painting. Hence, although the entire patch is red/blue, not every pixel in that patch is of the same shade. If I wanted to change everything inside one such region to a plain red or blue color, how can I do that? If such is the case then I will try to articulate it better. Find attached, the image.
