I'm running Photoshop CC 14.1.1 on MacOSX 10.8.4 and I have the following problem:
The functionality 'Export for web' doesn't work and also it's not possible to open .png files. I've tried to delete the preferences 'Adobe Photoshop CC Settings' but that didn't seem to work.
The "Edit In..." function doesn't wok when I choose Photoshop CS5 and select the "Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments".

View 1 Replies View RelatedWill Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
CorelCad seems to match up fairly closely and exports nicely to my AutoCad LT 2011, mostly, but I can't seem to get the Export to CorelDesigner function to work. It goes through the conversion process, but the file never actually generates. I have the Trial version (registered).
Does CorelCad has an ALIGN object (entities) command?
after I combine a simple poly cube the smooth function does not work?I use merge edge and merge vertices but still cannot get a smooth object..I have tried saving and reopening but still cannot smooth.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI haven't noticed this before. I know that in LR 4.4 image is scaled properly when export size is specified by megapixels instead of pixel or print size.In LR 5.3RC it does not work. The image is always exported as it's original size. Not sure how LR 5 and LR 5.2 was?

Trigger was set to activate when the new drawing file was saved. It no longer works and errors out in Inventor 2012. The template has been migrated to 2012 and so has the project file. I have rebooted several times, but no luck. I’m not a programmer, but as far as I understand, the problem is on a framestore. Funny thing is, the last saved version is still available in Smoke, everything is in place, and it plays normally, just when it comes to saving or exporting, it crashes, or refuses to export.
Exporting images in LR 5.3 with resize setting of "short edge" does not re-size the image at all when the option for "do not enlarge" is checked. Instead it simply exports the full sized image. This happens even if you are trying to downsize an image (in my case from a 24MP image to one that is 800px wide), in other words you are not enlarging the photos so the option for "do not enlarge" should not apply.
Other sizing options like "long edge" appear to work as expected.Have tried restarting LR but no effect. Have tried changing export setting and then changing back to "short edge", again no effect.
I have a problem with CorelDraw X4, some tools like save, save as, copy, cut, export doesn't work.

My dad organized the hard drive in very vague categories (things like I:/photos/spring 2004/spring 2004 - 1. We are looking to change the folder structure to one that is easier to navigate (I:/photos/vacations/new york city 2003)We are trying to avoid loosing tags in the organizer.
I tried File -> Move with some of the photos. In one instance, it took the originals and moved them. In another it renamed the photos and copied them to their new destination.Should we go back and delete the originals once they are moved to their new location?
Is there a trick to getting the new Color Range selection function to work on a retina Mac Book Pro? I am quite familiar with the color range selection in the previous version of Photoshop, and used it regularly. I've decided to try as simply as possible by using a flat image (no layers), and trying to select colors. I've increased the contrast in the image to make dark and lights much easier to pull out.
I've explored setting the sample size to point-sample up to 3x3, and 5x5. I've also set the resolution of my display to 2880 x 1800 (to reduce the possibility of anti-aliasing problems). It will not make any selection though, using the eye-dropper sample. Using other options will work, such as Highlights, Shadows, Skin Tones, etc., but it won't do anything with Sampled Colors.
From a curious Windows user : Are there new features in PSE11 organizer for Mac users ? For instance, in the help files links I had a look at the 'export' function : it is no longer marked as 'Windows only' ?

And then it will work. Accept when I restart the computer the next day. The problem keeps comming back! The operating system is Apple mavericks.

First problem:
On the computer of one of our users, the profile created in Autocad suddenly disappears :-(. We do not know why ... The user is obliged each time to recreate his profile, reconfigure all toolbars .Have you ever encountered this problem?
Second problem:
On another computer, from time to time the delete function of Autocad is no longer functional. We need each time between Pickfirst = 1 and that works.How to ensure that this function does not disappear?
Third problem:
On another computer, the user activates the 3D profile, he selects his palette, and when he clicks on the "more"window, autocad error appears "Error Report Autodesk,..." . Is it possible to display all palettes?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a problem with simulating a benchframe. The frame is attached to the car's body with 4 flat braces. I now want to attach the braces to the benchframe, but leave them to be able to rotate from each other.
I have fixed them to the body using a pin constraint, which works pretty straight forward but I'm not able to get this working on the side of the benchframe.
I have placed 4 pins, to allign the components and assigned manual contacts with "sliding/no separation" but now the whole construction doesnt move sideways in the X-direction and enormous stresses are developed because the benchframe is not deforming either. I have assigned every contact point and surfaces between the benchframe and the braces as "sliding/no separation".
My measure function doesn't displays anymore the result on screen but in the command lines. What must I do to make it back to normal again?

But when I compare the catalog to the actual photos in the folder, there are 104 pics missing from the catalog. If I try to sync the catalog, it says 104 pics need to be imported, but the import process says there are no new photos.
I created a new catalog and tried to import the folder again, but its still missing the same 104 pictures.
I've clicked link on two layers and set 'Link Set' to 1 on both. I want to make a selection, and move what is in it. But with the contents from two or more layers, not just one. The move tool seems to always move the background layer, although it's locked. What am I missing. I've been looking for this basic feature for a long time. How does the link layers function work?
View 8 Replies View RelatedTrying to do something as simple as y=x^3 (Explicit Mode). Set xmin = 10, xmax = 20 then tried y(x) = :
1in *(x^3) -- no good
(x^3)/1 in -- no good
(x/1 in)^3 -- no good
Error is that "Equation y(x) contains errors. Expected units are length".
The point here is: Why should typing in such a simple equation as y=x^3 be so difficult??? Can't even do (x*x*x)/1 in & make it work.
I have a HP laptop on which I run AutoCAD 2012 AND Civil3D 2012 both of which for some reason do not have the function keys working as normal. Oddly enough if I attach an external keyboard, the function keys work as expected.

I have Autosave set to 20 minutes and also have the box for creating a backup file with each save checked under Options > Open and Save.
When Drawing Recovery Manager opened today, the dwg I was working on says it was last saved over 1.5 hours ago. The bak file was last saved yesterday. Usually, there's a sv$ file, but not this time. The sv$ file is typically the most up-to-date file.
Shouldn't I see a "last saved" time and date of about 30 minutes ago for my dwg? Same for the bak file? Is there some other variable that I need to set?

I'm trying to mirror some geometry in my Maya model of Warrior.I do this by duplication special in X axis. I get the geometry duplicated..but it is also rotated around Z axis.
I don’t want this rotation. I had this problem also before on some other geometry...but I solved it with Freeze geometry. The problem was that the geometry axis system was rotated. I think this is caused whit Mudbox because I was using also Mudbox and I rotated the geometry there.
Now the Freeze function doesn’t work. The axis system is still shifted. How I can set this axis system to the one that is set in Maya? Or duplicate it whit the Axis system set in Maya ?
