CorelCad seems to match up fairly closely and exports nicely to my AutoCad LT 2011, mostly, but I can't seem to get the Export to CorelDesigner function to work. It goes through the conversion process, but the file never actually generates. I have the Trial version (registered).
Does CorelCad has an ALIGN object (entities) command?
I'm running Photoshop CC 14.1.1 on MacOSX 10.8.4 and I have the following problem:
The functionality 'Export for web' doesn't work and also it's not possible to open .png files. I've tried to delete the preferences 'Adobe Photoshop CC Settings' but that didn't seem to work.
Weld doesn't seem to work correctly on some ARCs, though I don't quite know which ones yet. Here's an example - A left and right box created to allow two hemispheres to be made. Now try to "weld" them into a circle, and the program fails and delets both, replacing them with some rubbish.
This is most definitely a bug... It's very unusual behavior. Also, when ARCs are used in a welded shape, and it's extruded, it sometimes fails to make a solid. I found that two arcs with two polylines worked, but four arc and four polylines did not.
Also, if we're submitting bugs via Corel rather than directly with Graebert, is it possible to get a bug tracking list on the forum?
Update: Took this ( and others ) to Corel Support. They looked into it, and apparently weld doesn't do what the training videos say it does ( and it doesn't quite do what AutoCAD thinks either ) - but it's all moot.
To do this - Type PEDIT and then M for Multiple polylines. Select and convert them all, then JOIN. Works beautifully. So, if connecting lines, don't use WELD or JOIN - use PEDIT and convert to Polylines first.
Can't seem to get even the simplest CoreCad file to export to Designer X5. It appears to go through the conversion process, and then comes up "failed"

View 1 Replies View RelatedWill Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
I've clicked link on two layers and set 'Link Set' to 1 on both. I want to make a selection, and move what is in it. But with the contents from two or more layers, not just one. The move tool seems to always move the background layer, although it's locked. What am I missing. I've been looking for this basic feature for a long time. How does the link layers function work?
View 8 Replies View RelatedTrying to do something as simple as y=x^3 (Explicit Mode). Set xmin = 10, xmax = 20 then tried y(x) = :
1in *(x^3) -- no good
(x^3)/1 in -- no good
(x/1 in)^3 -- no good
Error is that "Equation y(x) contains errors. Expected units are length".
The point here is: Why should typing in such a simple equation as y=x^3 be so difficult??? Can't even do (x*x*x)/1 in & make it work.
I have a HP laptop on which I run AutoCAD 2012 AND Civil3D 2012 both of which for some reason do not have the function keys working as normal. Oddly enough if I attach an external keyboard, the function keys work as expected.

I have Autosave set to 20 minutes and also have the box for creating a backup file with each save checked under Options > Open and Save.
When Drawing Recovery Manager opened today, the dwg I was working on says it was last saved over 1.5 hours ago. The bak file was last saved yesterday. Usually, there's a sv$ file, but not this time. The sv$ file is typically the most up-to-date file.
Shouldn't I see a "last saved" time and date of about 30 minutes ago for my dwg? Same for the bak file? Is there some other variable that I need to set?

I'm trying to mirror some geometry in my Maya model of Warrior.I do this by duplication special in X axis. I get the geometry duplicated..but it is also rotated around Z axis.
I don’t want this rotation. I had this problem also before on some other geometry...but I solved it with Freeze geometry. The problem was that the geometry axis system was rotated. I think this is caused whit Mudbox because I was using also Mudbox and I rotated the geometry there.
Now the Freeze function doesn’t work. The axis system is still shifted. How I can set this axis system to the one that is set in Maya? Or duplicate it whit the Axis system set in Maya ?
The "Edit In..." function doesn't wok when I choose Photoshop CS5 and select the "Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments".

I just created a new project and can't get the stop trigger function to work. When I preview it plays through the entire timeline. I've tried several different combinations of triggers - sym.play from () at the beggining of the timeline and then adding a sym.stop at () and no matter what, it plays through the entire timeline.

I tried File -> Move with some of the photos. In one instance, it took the originals and moved them. In another it renamed the photos and copied them to their new destination.Should we go back and delete the originals once they are moved to their new location?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was working on a project in Premiere Pro 6. I had imported about 200 files and almost completed the project. I tried to import another file and the import function would not work. In addition, it disabled about 90 percent of the program. Menu selections had turned grey. I closed the project and program and restarted, opening a much smaller project. Worked OK until I tried to import. The import wouldn't work, and the program was disabled. This is not a case of actually selecting a file to import. The function crashes before you have a chance to actually select a file. On deadline.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use the "Export to pdf" function as opposed to plotting as a pdf because the "Export" function seems to make a much smaller file size. However, when I "Export to pdf" some of my layers are not showing up in the created pdf.
The pdf created when I plot to pdf looks fine. I am using the "current layout" and "current" page setup options in the "Export to pdf", so it is using the same plotting options as plot to pdf, but the "Export" function is not displaying some layers.
The export dialog box seems to work. I hit EXPORT and it goes to export. Then the operation gets stuck and the image won't export.

I am quite familiar with the color range selection in the previous version of Photoshop, and used it regularly. I've decided to try as simply as possible by using a flat image (no layers), and trying to select colors. I've increased the contrast in the image to make dark and lights much easier to pull out.
I've explored setting the sample size to point-sample up to 3x3, and 5x5. I've also set the resolution of my display to 2880 x 1800 (to reduce the possibility of anti-aliasing problems). It will not make any selection though, using the eye-dropper sample. Using other options will work, such as Highlights, Shadows, Skin Tones, etc., but it won't do anything with Sampled Colors.
From a curious Windows user : Are there new features in PSE11 organizer for Mac users ? For instance, in the help files links I had a look at the 'export' function : it is no longer marked as 'Windows only' ?

I'm a photographer but not all that computer savy. In fact unless I'm wrong just discovered that running images through "Save for web" in PS6 removes metadata as well so images load faster. That's what I want to do but it seems time consuming.
So my question is in the export function of LR4 is removing the metadata there doing the same thing because if so it would be tons faster.
after I combine a simple poly cube the smooth function does not work?I use merge edge and merge vertices but still cannot get a smooth object..I have tried saving and reopening but still cannot smooth.
