View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased LR for the simple purpose of removing dust spots. I bought and read a book. I removed the spots, and tried to save a file of the corrected image, and could not find a way to do that. I know all about catalog = DB, but really, this product cannot save an image to disk?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have CS5 and CS3 on a system with Windows XP. My monitor is calibrated and I use a control print file for visual reference. I am unable to get corrected color on this system. The reference print looks fine in Windows, but way off in PS. I believe all my preferences are set correctly.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThe pictures came out fine. But then I upgraded to a (then) newer version of ACDSee, and the first time I opened the folder with these pictures in them, ACDSee turned them all magenta. ACDSee claims that this is impossible – but I assure you it happened...
I’ve posted one of the pictures here, including a screen shot of the Info pallet while the cursor is over an area of the image. As you can see, there isn’t any info for the yellow or black channels.
My question is – is there any hope for restoring the proper color to these images? I‘ve played around a bit with Curves, Hue & saturation, etc. - but getting natural color has eluded me. [URL]
I cannot save pictures in jpg anymore in Photoshop cs4. I work with raw images and save them first in tiff, then in jpg normally. But this option does not show anymore on the list to "save as".
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince yesterday I have the problem, that I can't open/save pictures as PNG any more, the option is completely gone. When I try to open one, it says "not the right kind of document".
I don't know what I've done, I just wanted to install filters and I've put them in the Plug-ins/Filters folder. But they didn't work so I've put them out again.I already deleted my preferences and I am desperate, I don't know what to do anymore.
I have Photoshop CS5.
I was just looking through some images and I realized that somehow I have managed to apply lens corrections to exported jpeg and tiff files. These are images that I exported from raw to tiff to jpg through Photoshop and what I think happened was that I didn't notice that Lens Corrections were being applied when I reimported the tiff back into Lightroom. Of course, the lens correction was applied when I developed the raw and made the tiff in Photoshop (or JPEG when I exported thru Lightroom), so a second correction just distorts the image.
is there some mechanism in Lightroom that keeps you from shooting yourself in the foot this way?
how to properly link my footage on my timeline to color corrected files from film convert. I know how to do it to each individual clip at a time, but when I select a whole folder, it always relinks the media to it's original destination and not the new destination with the color corrected files. What's the correct way to link multiple clips to new source files?

I am editing old pictures. To save time I am scanning four pictures at a time. I'm using the marquee tool to crop each picture into their own layer via right click method and choosing "Layer via copy." After I'm done doing this for all four pictures, I have to hide all but one layer, trim the project to the picture size, save it. Then I undo the trim, and start over for the next picture to save.
Is there any easier way to save each cropped section as their own picture/project at the size of their crop without effecting the other pictures? Was wondering if there was a way to crop the portions I want out but instead of copy to layer method, I could just create a new project with that cropped picture?
URL....I am using PSE 12 as a photo editor for Aperture 3.5.1 and the photo is duplicated (as a tiff) in Aperture and PSE editor opens with the image. When I close the file and say to save the file it brings up the save as window.
I tell PSE 12 to "on first save -- save over current file" it now brings up the "save as" window and won't save over the file (changes the file type from .tiff to .tif)
When I try to save medadata to pictures in Lightroom 5 it says "Photos have read-only access" but if I go to info on files and folders it says all users have read and write privilege. I keep the catalogue and pictures not on my mane drive.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop CS6 and Elements Premiere 11 and both were showing estimated file sizes properly up until a couple of weeks ago, and both stopped at the same time. Using Image, Mode I have verified on both that the images I am trying to save are 8 bit and not 16 bit images. I am on Window 7, 64bit.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got over 160 color corrected RAW files from my photographer when I thought I was getting TIf or PSD files. I need to put them into an in design doc to send out for printing. Is there a way to convert all of these in one fell swoop without messing up the work that has already been done?
I didn't allow in my timing to save each one individually since i didn't know I was going to need to do this. I am really unfamiliar with batch processing, so how to best go about this, or if I even can. I am working in Photoshop CS6. version 13.06 x 64.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been emailing my pictures for quite some time. I would select a picture right click the mouse and open the picture with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 Then I would enhance the picture and resize the picture to 950-733 pixels. I would then go to file and put "Save As" when the prompt came up I would put in example bus-1 and hit ok I would go up top and close back to my pictures. When I would write an email and attach the picture I could identify it as bus-1 and it would be resized to 950--733 pixels for emailing. But now when I Save as all of the pictures come up in that file and I cannot find Bus-1. It must have changed and I don't know why.
