would it be possible sometime in Paint.Net to save/export to the clipboard the history box as a text list of what we did ?
since I use many effects and settings in a given PDN, I sometime wants to write me some notes about how i did something and the steps i used to do it, before my old memory lets me down.
I know that the PDN it self has the history, but now I need to go over all the list and manually write/type down in notepad the list , which most of the time is very long.
Having the ability to save/export the history box text to a file or to the clipboard, make it easy to edit the list and keep track/notes of steps and ways to do something.
I don't need the settings used in the effect/adjustments , but just the TEXT names of the steps taken as shown in the history box.
Why cant I save a cdr job with all the merge fields setup so that next time I open the file I can go straight to 'merge to new document'.
So Ive set up a 10 to view raffle tickets job. Inserted 20 numerical merge fields, positioned, resized, applied font size color alignment etc etc etc.. Takes ages..... So then merge to a new document, works nice and I can save it fine.
There are a hundred reasons why i may have to close the 'master' merge file before the job has been successfully printed. It may be a repeat print job.
Any which way I really dont get why the live merge data fields are lost on closing the file.
found by examining data.GetFormats() in C#. I cannot use PaintDotNet.MaskedSurface in my application and the others don't provide full transparency information for PNGs. Is there a way to have Paint.NET copy data to the clipboard using "PNG" format?
In my app, I can copy an image into the clipboard using the following code, and all transparency information is retained.
using (MemoryStream stream = newMemoryStream()) { _Bitmap.Save(stream, ImageFormat.Png); var data = newDataObject("PNG", stream); Clipboard.Clear(); Clipboard.SetDataObject(data, true); }
and I can read the same from the clipboard using the following
IDataObject data = Clipboard.GetDataObject(); if (data.GetFormats().Contains("PNG")){ MemoryStream ms = (System.IO.MemoryStream)data.GetData("PNG"); _Bitmap = (Bitmap)Bitmap.FromStream(ms, true); }
I copied a file from my Card Program and then pasted it into X4. Besides the quality being shocking the end section of the image was pasted at the beginning, which I saw mentioned in another post.
But the same clipboard image pasted perfectly in PSPX and PSPX3, so the problem is not with the image nor with the Card Program. Below is the image shown pasted in X, X3 and X4.
Has this been addressed and/or reported or is there a fix. This is extremely poor standards and obviously is from incorrect programming in X4. Not impressed.
Plainly clear one cannot have only X4 installed to work with as it still has many bugs that have not been rectified.
1. Take a screenshot of something in your web browser (macintosh CMD+SHIFT+4) to the clipboard. 2. Select File > New from the menu. Clipboard should be the selected Preset. 3. Notice how in CS6 the color profile under "Advanced" is "Display" and NOT "sRGB" — in CS5 it is sRGB. 4. Paste from the clipboard into your new document and get the color profile mis-match warning if you are in CS6.
It is either not picking the color space of the clipboard properly like it will in CS5, or I am missing something somewhere.
Nothing I do in an attempt to fix this is working. I have sRGB set as my default profile in color settings, and nothing I do changes this setting for the "Clipboard" preset.
I am getting sick of forgetting to manually select "sRGB" every time, opening up a new document sized to my clipboard and then getting the color profile mismatch warning when I paste in the clipboard contents!
I take so many screenshots as I develop websites this is a CONSTANT problem as I am constantly creating new documents from the clipboard to check alignments, zoom in to get color samples, and many other reasons.
I have some pictures (private) not share with all of you and i want to change their background and merge two pictures so how i can change the background and merge in this way now one can know these pictures are merged or original. i am new in Photoshop.
i will like to crop this picture and add it to the top one as the background and then merge/flatten it as a single file. How do i go about it as i am new to coreldraw.
I purchased and installed PSP X4 ultimate (14.0.0.332), having first removed all traces of previous versions.
Install went fine and everything I've tried so far works as expected but I found one minor, if irritating bug:
I had retained in My PSP files a number of picture tubes, some of which, it turned out, were duplicates of those provided in PSP X4 and the Ultimate contents pack. So when I first checked the picture tubes, the usual window popped up listing the duplicates it had found, with the button to copy the list to the clipboard. However clicking on that button, the only thing that was copied to the clipboard was the first letter of the first entry in the list, not the whole list, as worked properly in X3 and earlier.
I then manually searched for and deleted the duplicates (which a copy of the list would have made much less time consuming, of course). To test that this was a reproducible bug, I then deliberately crated a new set of duplicates (simply by copying one of the subfolders in C:Program FilesCorelCorel PaintShop Pro X4Corel_10 to a subfolder in My PSP files picture tubes folder). Again the list of new duplicates showed up, but clicking copy to clipboard again only the first letter in the first item on the list was copied.
When i open file with paint.net and click save sometimes it make it larger and sometimes it make it smaller. When the bith depth is selected as auto are there any chance that paint.net will loose quality ? I check that generally bith depth is not changing it is 32 bit but it is able to reduce size of image which have been yahoo smushed or pgnoutwin processed. How is this possible ?
Are there any plugin which will batch read images and save them if the new size is smaller without quality loss ?
How can i use different pictures in print and merge. It there any option or method to merge with dirrent pictures.
I am createing diffrent I cards where i made a text file for name address phone no etc. and using print and merge option it is printing text fine. But i need a method to insert difrrent pictures on card automatically.
I'm trying to merge two images in PS CS5 on a mac. They're the same size and everything, but when I try dragging the image across no new layer gets created. When I create a layer and try dragging that I get a message saying the destination file can't accept it.
I have two photo images (from one raw file, one adjust for the foreground, the other under expose to recover the sky):
The rock:
The sky:
(I actually use Linear Burn layer blend mode to get the rock totally black).
Now How to merge these two image together? I try putting the rock image on top and the sky image on bottom, manually selecting the white sky in the rock image and deleting it to show the sky in the layer below. But I end up with halo around the edge of the sky like this:
The closest I get is Different layer blend mode: the rock is correct but the sky gets inverse. What is the trick to get the two merged and not get halo?
I created a composite image using several of my photos. I work using levels and I had one image each on its own level. I needed to merge two images to create the effect that they were one - a running stream was one (a sort of earth tone tint) and a small waterfall cascading over some rocks was the other (a more warmer orange-ish tint). I thought I used a level merge command but when the two levels were merged, the coloring on the images matched (the earth tone tint)! I can't for the life of me remember what I did! I've tried auto-blend but the top image just disappears and photomerge doesn't look familiar.
I just took three images of a sunset so that I could create a panorama image. When I use photomerge in photoshop cs6, only two images merge together and the third image is left by itself. I overlapped each image a sufficient amount but I still can't merge the third image.
Here is a screenshot of the end result. Am I not overlapping enough, or is there something I am doing wrong?
For my work, I use a microscope that scans a slide to take an image. It takes around 20 photos and creates a single image, but each one is still clearly visible as an individual image within the overall one, due to shadowing etc. and imperfect alignment of the images. Is there a way to correct this across the whole image, at least to remove the shadowing if not the alignment?
I shot landscape images for a panorama of 4 rows with 6 images in each row. The first image on the top row includes the top of a tree, but the other 5 images only has sky. Photomerge will not merge the 5 images of the top row because it only has sky in the image. I can merge the bottom 4 rows without a problem and can include the first image on the top row, but not the others.
I attempted to search but didn't find much on the topic. I'm using Photoshop 7.0, I believe. I did find a tutorial for 5.5 on the 'net somewhere, but it didn't seem to help as some of the exact commands/tools may have changed.
Anyway I'm attempting to superimpose 2 images (same pixel size) that I have used layer properties to make semi-transparent, and I'd like to copy/paste one of them into the other one, and then make it so that you can see both, as they are both transparent ....
I am using Bridge to merge two images into PS as a HDR image. I have done this with multiple images (RAW and TIFF). I am consistently getting screwy results. The image drops almost all detail and a TON of artifacts get dropped in. I am attaching a quick photo which is a brick front of a building.
