I have some pictures (private) not share with all of you and i want to change their background and merge two pictures so how i can change the background and merge in this way now one can know these pictures are merged or original. i am new in Photoshop.
i will like to crop this picture and add it to the top one as the background and then merge/flatten it as a single file. How do i go about it as i am new to coreldraw.
How can i use different pictures in print and merge. It there any option or method to merge with dirrent pictures.
I am createing diffrent I cards where i made a text file for name address phone no etc. and using print and merge option it is printing text fine. But i need a method to insert difrrent pictures on card automatically.
Why cant I save a cdr job with all the merge fields setup so that next time I open the file I can go straight to 'merge to new document'.
So Ive set up a 10 to view raffle tickets job. Inserted 20 numerical merge fields, positioned, resized, applied font size color alignment etc etc etc.. Takes ages..... So then merge to a new document, works nice and I can save it fine.
There are a hundred reasons why i may have to close the 'master' merge file before the job has been successfully printed. It may be a repeat print job.
Any which way I really dont get why the live merge data fields are lost on closing the file.
For what I need Photoshop for, I use CMD-E all the time to create raster graphics from vector shapes. I often use this feature to combine shape layers to create buttons. So, this completely destroys my work flow. The only work around I've found is to create an additional raster layer to merge with the vector layers.
I am trying to download pictures in folders and sub folders into the LR catalog. The import brings all the pics in the subfolders over but when II click on the parent folder it shows not pictures or number of pictures in it.
I imported pictures to Adobe Lightroom and exported them to my memory card. Now my memory card is broke! Is there any way to retrieve those pictures from Lightroom. Right now they are saying missing.
I am trying to place pictures into my paragraph text so that the text wraps around the picture (like you can in Word).? Can anyone let me know how to do this in Photoshop 7.0 for Windows??
All I can find is how to wrap text around object (i.e. word on a coffee cup image itself) or putting the actual picture as fill for the font.?
how to do this? I have included a PDF of a sample of what I'm trying to do.
When I try to merge images to HDR Pro in my new MacBook Pro (Mavericks), when the HDR window comes up, the image is missing about 40% of the middle of the image (it's white). If I try to resize the image, it gets all mixed up. I could not reproduce this on my Windows machine.
I've had Photoshop CS5 Extended for about 2 weeks. I'm using the 64 bit version with Windows 7 64 bit. So far it's been working ok but I'm now getting an issue with 'Merge to HDR Pro'. Once I've entered my settings and clicked 'ok' Photoshop stops responding. I have to start the 'Task Manager' and force quit Photoshop.
Is this a common issue or am I the only one whose getting it? Is there a solution?
I tried the HDR Merge Pro automatism. Used the ScottS template and reduced the detail and hit OK and what I got to see then was completely different fom the preview before.
My Photoshop is up-to-date and I tried another template and the result was different from the preview again.

I want to merge several images so that the edges blend into each other, so the edge will start off transparent to full image toward the center. The overlapping areas of the images are where a smooth merge of the image below [or is it above,] should appear.
These layers will be untouched so to speak... no drop shadows and all will be set to Normal. [Should I change this setting].
How I manage to mess it up... I use the quick mask mode, set black and white for my reveal/hide and use the paintbrush tool but can never make a smooth gradation from the edge [transparent] of the image inward to full opacity. The gradation just does not have much transition to it. If I use the pencil tool and then feather, that too does not produce a nice smooth gradation.
I see that many people have problems with CS5 Merge to HDR Pro. Me too. It works for JPEGS, but not RAW. Adobe just tells people to reset preferences, but no one has said this works. The RAW update download does not fix this. WHAT WORKS? ANYTHING?
I've been using PS for the past few years now, and moved onto CS5 last year. I recently decided to try out HDR photography after realising that there was an automerge. CS5 runs fine on my laptop (Windows Vista, 32 Bit) but when I use Merge to HDR Pro, the OK and Cancel buttons are not visible. I managed to work around this by using the Tab key, but after solving one problem, another has occured; the images aren't showing up on the home screen after I press the OK button.
Windows 7 64-bit SP1, Photoshop and Bridge CS6 64-bit
I recently have been having issues with running the automated Merge to HDR Pro action starting it from Bridge or Photoshop. I am trying to merge 3 RAW images into an HDR image. It loads the pictures, creates the temporary file and shows the changes that is is making as everything gets cropped and aligned.
When it finishes its work and should bring up the extra dialouge window it does not and no longer shows the file that it was creating and Photoshop has the same appearance as though it were just opened. There was never any error message displayed. The feature was working fine months ago and 3 days ago when I started doing more work with new pictures. The problem suddenly occured 1 day ago.
The files that I am merging were shot to RAW on a Canon Rebel T3i and written to a Samsung 32GB SDHC card. I have shots from a span of several days and I have the same problem with pictures taken from all 3 days. Thre are 530 RAW images total. All were run through Photomatix Pro 4.2.5 to quickly get them all merged and I wanted to go back and manually merge some of the ones that did not turn out quite right or that I wanted to play with more.
I have searched the forums and have not seen any posts with this particular problem and none of the solutions for other Merge to HDR Pro problems posted worked for me.I have run updates on Windows, Adobe, and Nvidia and all were up to date.
Looking for a quick, one-step method for merging all layers.
Usually, I Select the top-most layer, then shift-click the bottom-most layer (selecting all layers between), then right click and hit "merge layers".
Simple enough - but I'm working on an "action" and recording the method above is limited because it relies on a file's specific layer names. I want to be able to use this action as a generic action for any project with multiple layers.
Is there a better way to do this or a File > Merge All option I'm missing?
I have two photos that I want to use one as the back ground and the other one to insert a blue light. The first picture we can remove the sign talking of the blue light special. Then I want to add the blue light from the second picture.
I wished the wife had taken a tighter shot of the blue light. I can go back and take another picture.
I'm trying to merge two images in PS CS5 on a mac. They're the same size and everything, but when I try dragging the image across no new layer gets created. When I create a layer and try dragging that I get a message saying the destination file can't accept it.
I select images in Lightroom 5 and then select Merge in HDR Pro. The images go to Photoshop (CC), but when the HDR dialog opens, the imaage area is black. I also have PS CS6 and it works correctly there. Is this a bug in CC?
REVISED: I have two photos I would like to merge together. I have tried everything. I'm about to cry and pull hair out. My email address is URL.... I want to be sitting in the chair and not blocking the monitor. I have included the photos. I you can provide a step by step instruction and complete it I would be so happy. URL....
I'm geting really ugly "Merge to HDR" results in Photoshop CS6 that were not present in CS5.5. It only happens when using the "Remove Ghosts" checkbox
I use a Panasonic Lumix G2 Photoshop CS6 Lightrom 4 Camera Raw 7
I'm trying to merge RAW images to HDR. I use Adobe Lightroom 4.
1) I right click on multiple RAW exposure images 2) Edit In > Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop 3) After aligning and merging, I use the "remove ghosts"option, but it creates really ugly blown-out areas on my preview image. The result is just as bad after clicking "OK" and the "creating file" box is done. I can see another thread discussing this in the Photoshop CS6 Beta (read only) area. The guy was using a Panasonic Lumix GH2,(mine's a G2) so maybe it's an isue with RAW support for Panasonic's Raw format.
I am trying to use PS CS5 Photomerge, when I select three images (In sequential order) the program will merge two (middle two 2 of 3 and 3 of 3) of the three but the third (or number 1 of 3) is under the two merged as a separate detached picture on the same canvas.
