I am editing photo's of documents and I want to make them all the same size after cropping so that when combined into a single pdf they will all be the same size.What is the best way to set the crop feature so my photos will all be the same size as the original paper document they were copied from?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen printing on Epson printers (4800,4880,4900) in the Photoshop print settings dialogue box it won't allow me to print at a custom paper size using the sheet or manual feed settings. The paper feed option defaults to Roll Paper when I create the custom paper size, and then when I change it and try and save the settings it just reverts back to roll paper.
If I try and send a print after this then the printer won't accept it because it's being told to print on a roll instead of sheet. Why is this?? I'm using CS6 and OS 10.7 and I've never experienced this problem with any previous Photoshop/ Mac OS X before.
I want to crop a photo into an oval with the cookie cutter tool. As soon as I drag the oval from the center out the photo is then covered with white and gray squares so I can no longer see the photo.

I`m using AutoCAD2004 with HP Designjet 800 Plotter.
The Plotter is connected to network.
I want to add some Custom Paper Sizes, however, when I open the options for the plotter(User-defined Paper sizes&calibration), I can`t add or modify paper sizes. The `Add` button is not available.
I set my computer to `Power Users` but still cant add. How to make the `Add` or `Delete` buttons usable?
I need drawing borders in special formats - can't use the DIN or ANSI formats. How do i create these special paper sizes / layouts in auto cad 2007?
Example: i need a paper size / layout 56 in wide and 22 in high.
So I am working on this document and it has silver background. I go to print preview (Photoshop cs3 and cs4 on Vista) and I get color looking more like bronze looking but when I do print, it comes out just like it should (in working mode which is Monitor RGB with Proof colors checked).
This setting is the only one I've used to make sure image/psd looks exactly like what it should when printing. I tried the default Working CMYK with and without Proof colors but it's still showing me the bronze look instead of silver. I've looked on the net and no exact easy fix for this was found. I really really appreciate any help.
Another simple question is regarding size. I'm working on a document size of 17.5 x 8.7 inches and the actual Banners will be printed at size 175 x 87 inches (5 banners each at 35inch wide but combined into a big one). So essentially, I'm working at 10% the size of what the final print will be and my file size is 760mgs. You can only imagine how big the file would be if I work on the actual size.
Trying to change the printable area of custom paper sizes?
I've plotter that allows me to create 5 custom paper sizes for each pc3 file, however after create them, i cant always access to change their printable area, you know adjusting their margins, and the strange thing is that this error doesn’t happen all the time,sometimes after a while trying they work, but just for a couple of times, after that the problem remains.

To be more clear, you can see on the image that it doesn’t recognize the custom paper size i have selected, however it works from time to time, allowing me to edit those margins, and after save them, they work just fine and i can use those paper sizes with no problems.
I've tried to edit the pc3 file through windows, and a message appears saying that an unknown error has occurred.
I have a dvd box cover insert that I am trying to print 10.531 x 7.25. I set up the page and when I go to print it, it prints too small and doesn't fit in the dvd box property. I've tried printing on letter, legal and 11x17 to no avail it always comes out to 9.75 x 6.25
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am new to offset printing, working for a church that is creating a great new graphic identity. I am working with a local graphic designer to print our newly designed items, and the first item we sent to print was a small envelope for donating money. Our designer showed us a digitally printed proof that looked very close to our colour, PMS 268 C. But, once they were offset printed, they were much lighter, close to PMS 268 UC. I was very disappointed, and realized I should have requesting coated stock, and I feel my designer is to blame for not mentioning this to me/showing me a misleading proof. Now we need to get a letter head printed, and she tells me that to match a Solid coated colour we must use glossy paper (she says glossy=coated). It is mind boggling to me that a digital printer can produce deeper, richer colours on uncoated paper than an offset printer can. I certainly don't want a glossy letterhead, but I cannot settle for such a inaccurate colour match. Is there anyway to get a match to a coated colour on uncoated or at least non-glossy paper?

In the ArcGIS, the same layout can fit all paper sizes and there is no need to customize the layout for each paper size manually. For example, if the map is set up based on A4 paper size and then needed to be printed in A0 size, then all the lay out elements will be automatically proportionally changed to fit the new paper size.
I’m not sure if there is an equivalent features in the AutoCAD that handle this issue
I "lost" the ability to plot to standard architectural paper sizes when my dialog box opens. I only have standard paper sizes and other non-architectural related options.
I can still plot to my cute pdf, but only on 8.5x11. I need 11x17, 24x36, etc.etc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Monaco EZ color Optix color calibration system. The unit has a sensor that is used to calibrate your monitor and comes with a 4x6 color print that (with the help of the users scanner) can be used to calibrate your inkjet printer.
I've used this system for a year and it works quite well. Lately, I've been using Sams club photo center for my prints. The prints are a close match to my screen, but not perfect.
To get perfect prints, I have done the following (kluge) which works, but is very time consuming. I'm looking for the correct way to "Calibrate the Sams club photo printer".
I pretend Sams club photo center is a printer. I had them make a 8x10 photo of the Monaco printer calibration file. I then followed the printer calibration proceedure as if the Sams club photo center were my printer. This results in an ICC profile for the Sams club photo center.
Now in Photoshop, I print my images using this ICC profile to the "Adobe distiller printer" that I have, which makes a .pdf file, with the corrected print in it. I then "extract" a .jpg or .tif file from the .pdf file, and send the resulting file to Sams for printing.
As I said above, this works but is very combersum. Is there a way to do this directly in Photoshop. All I am doing is applying an ICC profile to the RGB of an existing file to create a new file.
I am new to Lightroom. When I export a group of photos some are around 3000x4000 and others are around 6000x8000.
These larger sizes will not upload to my Picasa Web Albums. Why are they different sizes? Some are only taken on my iphone and are the larger size and others are on my SLR and are the small size.
