View 1 RepliesIm creating a label for my CD, and I created the images with PS7 & then imported them into coreldraw in EPS format to do the text. (I heard that vector programs create cleaner, crisper text than bitmap programs, and my fonts are between 8 - 10 size). I added my text & some vector clipart then printed it directly from CorelDraw & the text & clipart was super crisp but the imported image was gritty, so I exported the entire file back into PS7 in Corel EPS format. I printed it in PS7 & the reverse happened: The image was nice & clean & the text was gritty. Am I importing/exporting in some wrong fashion, or there a way to have both my images & text come out crisp & clean?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got married a few weeks ago and took some digital pics of the evening disco that have come out rather blurred and out of focus. I have tried to find a way of using paint to sort out the pictures but with no luck. I have looked at the plugins that are available but cannot find anything suitable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI make an image 15.8 x 29.8 and when it prints out on my canon 8300 it is only 15.5 x 29.5 actual size measured on the canvas. the image is designed to wrap over the edge of stretchers 15 x29. the pics are 3 tenths inch short!
another pic is 15.5 x 29.25 instead of 15.5 x 29.5 so it is 1/4 inch short the long direction.don't recall having this problem before so why are the images not the same size in print that they are on the screen?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I am designing a picture in Photoshop Elements 10, what I design on the screen doesn't print out the same way. The printed version is slightly cutting off around all edges. I have only started encountering this problem a couple of months ago. It's very frustrating. I know it's not a driver issue and I am formatting the same way and using the same printing methods as I always have.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought the PHOTOSHOP CS4, and I am having problem when it prints. The image is not clear, it has dots (pixels). This computer where I installed this program is brand new. I have previously worked with Photoshop CS2 and never had an issue but was force to buy this new one because the computer that I bought has Windows Vista and CS2 is not compatible. I thought maybe the problem was my printer but is not I have a Brother HL-5140 (black and white). I have connected my old computer with the printer and the images print perfectly fine. I have printed photos and it prints clear. But this only happens with Photoshop CS4. It prints dots.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI switched from Photoshop Elements 7 to Photoshop Elements 10. I cannot get a print of a photo that matches the screen. Photos are dark and red. I cannot edit the photos because I do not know what will print out. I have switched back to Photoshop 7 and my photos print fine, just as they have been edited.

View 2 Replies View Related--Or you can just PInvoke acedSSSetFirst, which is what the SelectObjects() method does.--
My limited training materials does not tell me how to get the acedsssetfirst selection set, I want to clear it out.I used:
Autodesk.AutoCAD.Internal.Utils.SelectObjects(ids);
to get some objects for zooming, and now I want to un-select them for the user to move on.In vba i could get a selection set by name from a group of selection sets in the drawing. Can I do that in .net?
Dimension elements do not appear clear on the screen. I want to Imaging the screen to use the image in another. How do I make the dimensions clear ?

When I zoom to 1:1 with LR5 in the Develop module, I get a sharp image almost instantly, but when I then go to full screen (or go to full screen first and then zoom to 1:1), the image is blurry and stays that way, and the only way I can fix that, strangely, is to use the left or right arrow key to go to a neighboring image, and then return, at which point the blurry image comes into sharp focus in a second or so. My system seems to handle everything else in 64-bit LR5 with ease. Any thoughts re what's happening and how to fix it. A great product overall, and I love the full screen feature in other respects.

View 7 Replies View RelatedOpened a clear image in QuickLook. Opened in PS CS5 to edit and it is blurry. PS is blurry/pixelated too - the tools, the font, etc. What can I do to fix this? I have had PS CS 5 for awhile now and have never had this problem before. Already tried re-opening, shutting down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am making a screen shot video for my website. I created 6 individual short videos that look great. When you play them individually, they look great. These are "how to use the website" short videos that do have typing on the screen. The typed words are perfectly clear as individual videos.
As soon as i merge the clips into 1 video, the typed words and the whole video gets fuzzy. I have re-shot new videos and I get the same result.
I have searched all over the internet for the last couple of weeks researching a solution. I've enlisted smart proxy and gone through just about every setting in "preferences" painstakingly slow and I still can't figure it out.
All of my information for my computer should be correct, but wasn't sure if i got the video card correct.
This is a 4K image, zoomed out, it closely resembles a grid, although you would never know. I want a clear view when zoomed out of my grid.

THe result is that everything slows down!!
Having upgraded to PS10 last year (from PS7), I find that I am unable to print from either editor or organizer.
A Fault message reads " The following images will be rendered at less than 220dpi at the requested print size".
Same message with all print sizes. The printer works perfectly with all other software and is a HP 895Cxi.
Why don't my photos have strong enough resolution to be printed? Even 4x6. I'm shooting with Canon70d. Would this be corrected by a setting on my camera, or is there an option in Lightroom that will allow me to resize my image in order to print a crisp and clear 8x10.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed LR3 and have been using for approximately a year. I did a horrible job importing my photos, it's a mess. Basically what I want to do is wipe out all the images and catalogs and "start over" importing images. My previous edits are of little concern.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI opened LR today and this time did not click ignore to the message of update to curent. After the update I opened to the current catalog and my images were blurry. I switched to a different catalog and same thing. I selected an image I had not previously edited and it was fine. I started to edit it and after the first adjustment it was not viewable. I clicked to another image and then back. It was viewable, but blurry. To be clear, these are not blurry images, but update is causing them to be this way.
Win 8.1. Previous LR version 5.2.
I have a jpg file 1500x1024 pixels. If I resize it down to 400x300 and save it, the image quality is fine in the Gimp window. When I view it outside of Gimp, like in Image Viewer or FSpot its very blurry.
I resized the same image on a Mac using Photoshop and this did not happen, the resized image was perfect. Is it some sort of limitation in Gimp?
In the Scale Image dialog box the interpolation is set to Cubic. In the Save As jpeg dialog box I have checked Optimize Smoothing is set to 1.00 Subsamplingis set to Best Quality
I'm trying to create a new logo and now that I've created it, I try to save it and once saved, It looks very blurry/fuzzy. But in illustrator it looks excellent! It's just in the saved copy that looks horrible. I'm just metally drained and don't know to do
-Illustrator CC
-Macbook Pro Retina -late 2013
I've tried every possible format just about for the logo to be saved as. Even in the browser preview mode in save for web, it looks horrible. I'm needing this logo to be saved as jpeg, png, or something relative.
I have this problem in CS5 that any type of image or line art are always blurry. All my work is for print and perhaps just the preview is blurry but I am afraid that printing will be bad.
Most graphics I bring in are from Photoshop CS5. I make sure they are 300DPI to start and recently learned they should not be in RGB mode but CMYK.
The images I should also mention when placed are very small and I have to scale them to be the correct size. I do not know why they do not place as their original size. So basically it is small size and blurriness.
I am exporting an image for web in Illustrator 6 and my images are all turning out blurry. I have attached a sample image as well as a screenshot of my current settings, although I have messed with the settings quite a bit and I seem to have this problem no matter what I do., URL....
