Having upgraded to PS10 last year (from PS7), I find that I am unable to print from either editor or organizer.
A Fault message reads " The following images will be rendered at less than 220dpi at the requested print size".
Same message with all print sizes. The printer works perfectly with all other software and is a HP 895Cxi.
how do i match on screen document size to view print size? when i create a new document and put in its dimensions when i press view print size it appears alot smaller on screen

I have tried creating a canvas that is the size of the image I need, but cannot get the picture to fit perfectly in it with out distortion. Resizing the original does not work, because of course I have to constrain proportions.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I create a new file in AI CS 6, the artboard is larger than requested size, which shows up as a box within the too-big artboard. For example, when I create a new file, I set the artboard size menu to 1200 pixels wide by 750 pixels high, but the artboard created is about 6,000 pixels high and wide, with a black outline of the 1200 x 750 artboard that I tried to create.The actual artboard is much larger than the white area; I just cropped most of it in my photo software to show it here. What setting in the preferences or other menus fixes this problem? I didn't have it until today, so something got set incorrectly somewhere. I usually just see the 1200 x 750 white artboard against the dark background. It also seems to be happening now when I simply open an existing file. The artboard has suddenly increased to an enormous size.

But now I need a print 90 mm (9cm) by 150mm (15 cm) and even after unlocking the chain the print comes out at 150 by 115 mm...I've tried it about 50 times now and it's always the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI make an image 15.8 x 29.8 and when it prints out on my canon 8300 it is only 15.5 x 29.5 actual size measured on the canvas. the image is designed to wrap over the edge of stretchers 15 x29. the pics are 3 tenths inch short!
another pic is 15.5 x 29.25 instead of 15.5 x 29.5 so it is 1/4 inch short the long direction.don't recall having this problem before so why are the images not the same size in print that they are on the screen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have hundreds of pictures from a recent trip that I want to print to a 4x6 print. The problem is that the pictures were taken in the incorrect ratio for this print size. I want the entire picture - with a white border around it if necessary. I can get Elements 9 to do this for me for home printing from the print screen and selecting the print size that I want. However, I want to upload these photos to an online printing service (snap fish, shutter fly, etc). I have tried using their digital print size option on Snap fish, but it still crops my pictures.
So,
1. How can I get elements to save the file for me in a compatible 4x6 ratio without cropping, that I can use to upload to a printing service?
2. How can I do this in a batch process as there are over 1000 pictures that have this issue?
3. If elements can't do this, what software can
I have always been able to print (FIT TO PAGE) 8.5 X 11 (LETTER SIZE) PHOTOS in PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS! I recently downloaded version 10 and it will not print full page photos. How to achieve printing full size page photos with no white borders around the photo in version 10!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with the clarity of some photos being used in a project. The project has a mixture of both photos and video. The photos are inserted into the overlay tracks in the time line and some have a mask applied to them.
Some photos both with and without mask's appear pixelated both on the time line and when rendered.The file format for the photos are Jpeg and range from 1.85MB to 60MB in size and have no pixelation. In preferences i have in the image section both "anti-flickering" and "Cache image" checked. I have also tried the photos in the first time line and still are not clear.
Is there any limit to the number of images that can be put into a PSE10 catalog? If so, what is the limit?

The command RenderFromFile will render the 3D drawing file at C:TempRender.dwg (see this file from attachment), and then write the output image to Render.png at the same folder. The rendered image is on the top view and has visual materials.
The command RenderCurrentView will render the current open 3D drawing, then write the output image to C:TempRender.png. The rendered image is on 3D view and does not have visual materials.
Both two commands call the same shared method RenderToFile(), but their output images are different. I don't know why they are different?
Method RenderToFile is a simplified version from Kean's code. I try to make the code short and simple to easily solve the problem.
I recently opened a project I worked on months ago and noticed certain materials in my rendered images had turned blue. I created a new rendering in which all materials came out great and I saved it. Minutes later I opened the new rendering and it too became blue. I worked on this project for months and have not made any changes to materials. All previously saved images in my file, the wall materials, stairs, and certain furniture have all turned blue.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just been trying to resize some images on the latest version - 3.510.4297.28964 - and I have typed the measurements that I wanted into the print size fields on the resize dialogue. The actual sizes the program resizes the images to differ though - some look to be about right, whereas some come out much larger, but they all show the dimensions that I inserted in the canvas size box.
I'm sure I've done this before and this hasn't happened?
I am using Lightroom 5 also to color grade some of my short videos as it seems to be pretty handy. Unfortunately, for some videos the export fails with the error that the hard drive does not contain rendered images. The screenshot below shows the error message in German.
As I was using the same options for many other videos before, I was wondering what causes this error. The hard drive where I have the lightroom catelog is an external USB3 hdd with lots of space left.
I am useing a Canon Pro 9000 MKII and when I try to print 11x14 paper, it will not alow custom paper size. The Canon printer driver does have custom size but it does not show up in printer settings.

If I were to accidently close the ambient occlusion rendered window before saving it, how can I get it back up? I know it's possible to get the main render back by clicking the 'Rendered Frame Window' button - is it possible to get all the render passes back up?
This of course assumes I'm not saving to file and am instead being stupid and closing the ambient occlusion window before saving it. It's happened... and is annoying to render the whole thing again just to get it back.
Secondary question: can a render pass be rendered separately?
