Oct 19, 2013I've been using a trial of photoshop CC recently, and I'm really interested in subscribing to creative cloud, but the only thing is, whenever I have been working on a piece, photoshop randomly crashes. Normally when I change a tool.
I don't know if this is relevant information, but whenever I start a new blank page, the message "3d features require a minimum of 512MB of vRAM. Photoshop has detected less than that on your operating system." Though I have a computer with a 3gb graphics card.
how to stop this unexplained crashing, I really want to get photoshop, I just don't know if it's worth it if my work will keep getting lost with these crashes.

Nov 2, 2012In preparing photos imported from iphoto for a book, I've learned how to change the ppi and format, but when I try to move on I find I don't know how to save and close out of editing a photo. The photos either have red "edit in progress" bands, or multiple copies, or both.
I don't know where to save them, either.

If I enter through the Editor, I can access the Organizer, but many of my recent photos will show only as an hourglass when viewed as thumbnails. Yesterday I purchased Photoshop Elements 11, uninstalled Photoshop Elements 9, and installed 11. I still have the exact same problems.

When she selects A4 as the paper print size the image prints leaving a white band of about 15mm at the foot of the printout. Printer : HP wireless B110a. She has set the image pixels at 600 per inch which seems a bit high. It looks like the foot of the project is slightly cropped off.
how she can print full A4 size with no borders - i.e. her A4 project fills an A4 page !

Apr 30, 2012I am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.

Oct 4, 2013Basically I open a jpg file for editing in photoshop elements and then use "save as" to save my edited project as a jpg with a new filename in a local picture folder.
My new file however shows as
File Type: File
It will not open! the file wants me to associate a program to open it with and If I select photoshop to open the file I get a warning dialogue "Cannot open 2.5 3 Core TQ Rubber Flex because it is the wrong type of file"
