Jan 28, 2014I have a photobook made in PSE 8 but can't open it in Elements 12. What to do? I get the note "can not open this multi pages file".

Oct 4, 2013Basically I open a jpg file for editing in photoshop elements and then use "save as" to save my edited project as a jpg with a new filename in a local picture folder.
My new file however shows as
File Type: File
It will not open! the file wants me to associate a program to open it with and If I select photoshop to open the file I get a warning dialogue "Cannot open 2.5 3 Core TQ Rubber Flex because it is the wrong type of file"
This is the version of photoshop and my system info
Adobe Photoshop Elements Language Version: 10.0.0 (10.0 (20110831.m.17215))
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1

Apr 30, 2012I am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.

Nov 3, 2012I have been using PSE 8 for a while, and recently installed the version 11 trial copy to see if it made sense for me to upgrade. Everything seemed to be going OK (PSE 11 converted my PSE 8 catalog OK etc.) until tonight.
A few minutes ago, I tried to open up version 11 and it gave me an error (#6) that said there was a configuration error and I needed to uninstall and reinstall version 11.
So, I uninstalled version 11. That seemed to go fine.
However, before trying to re-install version 11 I decided to play around with version 8 for a while. Only now, every time I double-click on my PSE version 8 shortcuts (one for the main program, one for the organizer), I get a screen asking me to agree to the Adobe software license. I click "accept" but then the license screen just goes away and the program never starts.

I also need to reload Lightroom 4, which I have a disk for, but I keep getting an error 1935 when trying to install it. I thought I would just go to the Adobe site and download it too, but besides the same problem I'm having with downloading PSE8, my Adobe info only listed PSE8. My records show I registered Lightroom November 2012.
