I would now like to use that same catalog file as I move to use Lightroom so that I don't lose all that data.
I believe that now it needs to be .lrcat.

Nov 3, 2012I have been using PSE 8 for a while, and recently installed the version 11 trial copy to see if it made sense for me to upgrade. Everything seemed to be going OK (PSE 11 converted my PSE 8 catalog OK etc.) until tonight.
A few minutes ago, I tried to open up version 11 and it gave me an error (#6) that said there was a configuration error and I needed to uninstall and reinstall version 11.
So, I uninstalled version 11. That seemed to go fine.
However, before trying to re-install version 11 I decided to play around with version 8 for a while. Only now, every time I double-click on my PSE version 8 shortcuts (one for the main program, one for the organizer), I get a screen asking me to agree to the Adobe software license. I click "accept" but then the license screen just goes away and the program never starts.

Jan 11, 2014I recently had my hard drive begin failing and had a new drive installed. I am trying to find out how to download PSE8 onto my new drive. I also need to reload Lightroom 4, which I have a disk for, but I keep getting an error 1935 when trying to install it. I thought I would just go to the Adobe site and download it too, but besides the same problem I'm having with downloading PSE8, my Adobe info only listed PSE8. My records show I registered Lightroom November 2012.

Aug 28, 2012Description of the task: I want to create a tool which is able to visualize the positions of pieces on a game board. At the moment I'm using Photoshop Elements 7. I think the following procedure would be appropriate:
2 layers, the basic layer would show the game board and the images of the pieces would be on the second layer. If I try to do that with Photoshop Elements 7 then each time when I insert an image of a piece a new layer is created. I don't need a layer per figure. Yes, one could reduce a layer afterwards. But it's not so comfortable this way.
In addition the images of the pieces should be movable on the game board. There is the option "free transform" in Photoshop Elements 7 but only one element (one piece) is movable afterwards. All the inserted elements should be movable.
So my question: Is it feasible within Photoshop Elements 7? If not, which version of Photoshop Elements would be adequate or which software do I need?
Lightroom :: Develop Module - Brush Shows Up As Big Square
Apr 15, 2013Develop Module: when using brush, it often shows up as a big square. Only the actual round brush area is modified, but it is annoying to have a big square block the view. The included cropped screen shot shows the brush working on the green part of the plant - and a larger square lighter part around this.

Mar 1, 2013I must have fat fingered something and I now when I click on the Eraser Tool or the Brush Mask Tool instead of getting a circle or square, I get and icon of the tool instead. They still work but they're harder to use without seeing the circle or square depending on what's selected. I've been using Corel for many years and never had this happen and I can't figure out how to switch back.
