View 3 Replieshow would i go about turning a picture of, let's say, a house shot in the day to a picture of a house that would appear to have been taken in the night time? one exception, however. no sky line is visible so no need to worry about that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a night-sky picture with a moon. I would like to make clouds on it, which would look really realistic, in dark parts they should be hardly visible or better said they should be dark, but they should be more bright over the moon. The moon shouldn't be covered whole. Can anybody help me with this? How to make such clouds?
View 2 Replies View Relatednight photography particularly with over exposure. how people edit they photos to make the nice halo effect or almost star effect around street lights and such on night photos. And how an effect like this could be done with actually have an over exposed photo...look at the bottom right....
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to learn how to do low-light night photography, including some astrophotography. I bought an intervalometer and just collected 100 photos. Using Bridge I load all 100 into Photoshop layers. It took a fairly long time (several minutes) to load, but is it seems they all loaded correctly. The problem is now whenever I do anything in Photoshop I get an error message saying there's not enough RAM. Also, everything else on the computer slows way down. I went to PS preferences and upped the RAM to the max I have available, 3.3 Gb. Didn't work.
I'm taking all the shots as RAW files. Should I be shooting JPEGs instead? Do I just need more RAM? 3.3 Gb seems like it should be enough.I'm using a Canon 40D, CS6, and a Mac Mini running OSX 10.8.4.
Does CS4 basic have a plugin to correct night time noise?

I tried with the Gaussian Blur and Diffuse Glow filters but with no satisfying results...
style flyer cards that generally are seen in and around night clubs and bars. I really dont want to grab random images around the net for obvious reasons. Does anyone know of any clipart sites of mainly photos of girls dancing, DJ's and everything in that field? Prefer a free service though I doubt there is such a thing but a cheap pay one will be fine too. Really dont want a "pay by the image" thing either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an almost finished picture but I need to make it night and just darkening the picture doesn't really make it look like it is night... what can I do to the picture to make it look like it is night outside?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to create a day night texture for use in FSX (Flight Simulator X). This is as far as I can get - lack of knowledge main reason!! In picture 1, I made a 64 x 64 pixel canvas. After putting the border around it, I used the magic wand on the inside and used the Alpha mask. Then I made a duplicate layer as seen in picture 2 and made a light brown tint.
Then I used the flatten. But now I need a light to shine thru the window pane for a night effect. How would I do this? Would I use the Effect\Photo\Glow? How would I save the completed image as a _LM image?
New to PSP and I took some night time photos of a car using long exposure, the pictures are clear and focused but they have that yellow-orange street light tint to them. Is there an easy way in PSP X6 to get rid of that color cast?
I'm shooting in RAW in Large with a Nikon D5100 if that matters for this. I'm not bothered how I output it as up to now I've just experimented on screen. No error codes yet!
I recently have been taking night shots and having hard time to edit them: Black spots / red spots / street lighting ect -

When I render a 3D scene in Photoshop CS6, is the GPU of my system of any use? Whenever I render any 3D scene in PS, I have noticed that the GPU stays idle, it does nothing, everything seems to be done by the CPU. Is it supposed to be this way?
OpenGL _is_ correctly enabled in PS and I have just one video card in my system (GTX660 Ti 3GB).
I cannot get any lights to appear in my 3d scenes until I begin rendering. I have installed all updates. In fact, this started when I installed the Creative Cloud update back in December. Also, how do I get rid of the annoying IBL preset?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have 2 or more extruded shapes in a 3D scene, the trash can is grayed out and each object has what looks like a small padlock on it and I can't delete anything .
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have about 13 different 3D objects, each on their own layer, and I want them to be able to cast shadows from lights all on the same ground plane. I know the setup for an individual object but when I go to set it up for each one they keep generating their own ground plane and the end result is no where close to where I want them. It's vital for this project I'm working on and I can't find any guide for the 3D features in the extended edition that is free.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought Photoshop CS6. Previously, I used Photoshop Elements 10. One nice feature of PSE was the Photo merge Scene Cleaner that Photoshop CS6 doesn't seem to offer.
What is the best or simplest way of achieving the same (i.e. blending two images and removing an object from one of the images) in Photoshop CS6?
My first try was to load the photos into a stack and let Photoshop arrange the layers and then use layer masks to hide the unwanted object from the image. However, I found the result less convincing (without investing more time in fine-tuning the result) than with the easy-to-use Photo merge Scene Clear assistant in PSE 10. Maybe it was just this particular set of images (one issue I noticed is that the stacking script did not compensate for vignetting in the images leading to hard transitions between the two photos).
Is there a way to get at the Photomerge Scene Cleaner functionality that is in Photoshop Elements via full Photoshop CS4?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am designing a piece of public sculpture for outdoors. I have photographs of the location and photographs of my little model. I now need to insert the photograph of the little model into the location photographs and make it look like it belongs there. So I need the inserted model to adopt the environmental effects of it's surroundings.
I'm using CS5.5
I've got two identical photos, one in summer time (all green) and one in winter (snow covered).
How would I go about merging these half way across the picture to show a transition from winter to summer? Kind of like two seasons in one photo.
Just trying to work out how to have one camera affect the view of all the 3D layers in my scene. If I have a layer selected, and adjust the camera, it only affects that layer.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been using VS for quite some time, along with my Panasonic GS500. When capturing my video, VS would create a file for every start /stop of the video. I shoot high school football. This is extremely convenient for cataloging plays, because each play is its own file. I know that "Split by Scene" is available, but it does not create a file for each play.I recently purchased a Canon XH-A1s and wanted to move to HD. will the new Canon camera and VS Pro X4 provide for the same type of capture, when optioned for HD.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using VS Pro X4 on a Windows XP Pro PC. When I 'capture' video from by vidcam (DV tapes) using 'split by scene' all the resulting clips all contain the first frame of the following clip.
I had this problem a year ago using my laptop on a VIsta Business platform and though that perhaps the 'problem' had something to do with Vista (well Vista isn't everyone's ideal platform) but now I am experiencing it on an XP PC so I am thinking that it is caused by VS Pro X4.
Is there a fix for this and/or a setting to stop this annoying problem. I am thinking that if No then I should reinstall VS 9, which I never had this problem with, just to allow me to capture video by scene correctly.
I'm new to 3ds max (and 3d modelling) so am possibly just superimposing my 2D graphics skills onto the 3D realm, but, here's a shot.
I've got a very complex scene, a room with walls, a floor any many objects inside. I want to simply select half of the visible room from a top viewport and simply cut it out (crop). The problem is some of the objects span across the whole room and they get removed completely rendering me with less than half of the room. Is there some function which simply removes the object wholly if it is completely in the selected area, otherwise just partially cut out the section that is selected if the only part of the objects area is selected?
i have massive problems converting a scene which is actually in M system units, and that i want to convert to MM as system units.
What would be the correct workflow ? (i tried the rescale world units but that didn't work that well, and just scale up 1000x neither)
Ive been searching for a tutorial to get the same effect as the picture I have attached.
Half Sea and Half land.
I found this in an australian company portfolio called constructive media.
how i can set up a scene and achieve the same kind of effect?
where I can get a scene with lights to use for the purpose of developing and testing arch and design materials?
