Photoshop :: Convert To Timeline Animation Button...
Jul 30, 2009
Convert To Timeline Animation Button doesnt appear and its driving me crazy.in the animation window its in frame animation mode and this button im talking about doesnt appear!.
I was making and editing a gif, following all the steps from a tutorial, and one of them is about how to "sharpen" the screencaps without sharpening every single one of the frames and layers. It seems that all the photoshop versions have on their animation window, this button
But I don't have it. This how it looks my photoshop:
I use to have before I dowloaded the english version of cs6, the spanish version, and it doesn't have that button either (I think) The question is, is there a problem with my version of cs6?
Whenever I try to upload a video clip, it only shows in timeline format and when I try to convert it to frame animation, it says "The video will not play back in frame animation."
In the timeline panel in CS6 EXTENDED, you have a video feature, where you can animate three things:
Position Style Opacity
What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.
The new timeline in photoshop cs6 is weird but I don't understand how I can use it for animating. I use photoshop for frame-by-frame animaiton (Not flash) and the new Timeline is confusing me. How do I use this new time line for frame-by-frame animation similar to the Animation Timeline in Cs5?
I am trying to learn how to do a small animation. I have Timeline window open at bottom of screen but do not understand how to get images into the space. Everything is grayed out. I have read the Adobe tutorial but nothing really says how to place key frames into the timeline space. I watched a YouTube video but it started with there already being an image there and then they showed how to copy and change it so an animation could be achieved.
I have a problem with a 3D object imported in PS CS4. It is about 3 seconds long on the timeline, and cannot be extended, I tried to drag but it cannot be dragged further, you can only make it shorter. The thing is that my animation is 30s long, and i want the object to be visible till the end. I know I can always duplicate the layer several times and move it, but that results in bigger file, more layers...
I'm trying out the new Photoshop Creative Cloud, and probably the most annoying thing is that the animation panel always opens up and covers up things / gets in the way at start or whenever I open a new file.
Long-time PS user here, however for 2 years now my home version of Photoshop CS4 seemingly axed the Timeline portion of its animation panel. I've sort of accepted it until now, but recently I wanted to try some hand-drawn animation. As you can see this a significant speed bump. How to restore/reopen that portion of Photoshop, or am I just crazy in thinking CS4 ever had it to begin with?
I have created a successful 24 frame animation gif using Photoshop layers and putting them into timeline. I have saved it for web, and checked the Once option. I have checked the looping option to 'Once', but when I play it or place it in an email it loops forever. It only plays once when I open it in the web browser, or when I preview it in Photoshop.
I have an animation in Edge, and I'm trying to make a button that can play the timeline for a specified amount of time and then stop, without the aid of labels. So, I figured if i set the button to sym.getSymbol("mysymbol").play(500); it would make the timeline of that symbol play for 500 milliseconds each time the button is clicked, but it is not working, as this makes the whole thing simply start playing at 500ms. So I then tried adding a stop action after this:
But this didn't work, because I guess since these events are one after the other, it doesn't wait 500 seconds to stop, and it reads stop(500) immediately after the play instruction, so that didn't work either. I'm pretty new to javascript, but I've been really trying to learn it along with the Edge API for a couple weeks now and still can't seem to solve this problem.
my 'Convert To Video Timeline' Option has gone missing from my Photoshop. I'm using Photoshop CS6 Extended Version.I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it numerous times.I have tried running it in 32-bit as well as 64-bit.The option isn't in the Panel Fly-Out menu either.I have also noticed that I can no longer open videos in Photoshop.I have tried resetting my Preferences, as well.
I'm currently using CS6 to make Gifs with Frame Animation using the Video Frames to Layers. I want to convert my Frame Animation to Video Timeline but it won't let me do it. Can I do it with CS6 or do I need CS6 extended?
I've made fire brushes and want them to change color and shape over time in the animation timeline for a movie sequence. I've made a separate layer for the fire, but can't figure out how to make it so that I can change the shape and colors over time on the timeline. This is a 10 second sequence.
For some reason I cannot choose between Video Timeline & Frame Animation in the Timeline window. I do not know why, I've looked in the Timeline panel options, still nothing.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 and I am trying to switch from Frames to Timeline in the Animation Panel. I have read in other forums that there should be a menu in the bottom right corner of the panel, but none is appearing in my panel.
I have tried multiple times now to download a trial for Photoshop CS6 Extended. Everyone says that the CS6 trial is already the extended version and only changes based on your serial number at purchase but every time I try to open a video project of mine it says "This file contains a timeline-based animation (Photoshop Extended only)"
I've been using Maya for two years. I have used the timeline on this version before, but now it is completely gone. Everything else is normal. Is there a place to reset everything? Where might I look to try and turn the timeline back on?
I've created animation mixer clips for edit animations that have a bug of time and I want to extended and the time line was cleared and now I wants to put the animations again in the time line to export, how do that?
So, this is something that's been a nuisance for a while now, and I think it's time for me to inquire seriously about a fix for it. I'm working with some ani's in max's timeline, and everyso often I find it starts to make use (or I start to make use...?) of "ticks"...I really dont wnat them, and in fact they cause a whole bunch of issues when adjusting keyframes as Im sure some of you can imagine.
Im not sure if it does this because of a setting I choose ( I always start animating in frames mode), or because I often will work in Key mode when Im swapping in a certain pose often...since all my character's animations are in one timeline.
The big question is...is there a way to FORCE these "ticked" keys onto full frames somehow? I've looked through all the timewarps I can find, and adjust <i>their</i> keys to full frames, but eventually it still goes back to ticks....WHAT MUST I DO!!!!! maybe there's a script, or Im missing something obvious?
I keep resetting to frames mode, and rechecking timewarps...to no longterm avail.
I'm trying to make a mobile app overview and I want to add a little "tapping" animation a whole bunch of times for parts where a button is tapped and so forth. I made an animation of a circle scaling quickly to show the tapping.
The only way I can think of doing this is painstakingly mapping out its position keyframes for the different times in the timeline along with setting hundreds of keyframes for the scale. Is there a way I can just animate it once and then just insert it on various parts of the timeline?
I am trying to find out if it is possible to start/load the animation based on a specific point in its timeline? The animation I am creating is a parallax animation based on mouse position and I am trying to load it in the middle of the animation and based on the users mouse position will play forward or backwards from that point.
My question is, does Videostudio X5 have the capabilities to either:
A) Batch convert while using one or more of the FX B) Export multiple clips in one go from the timeline?
I have 120+ short video clips that I need to crop to a different size. I've figured out how to crop them to the size I need by using the "Croping" function in the FX. There seems to be no way however to apply this to all the clips at once in the Batch Convert.
The only way I can do it is to import all of the individual clips to the timeline and then export them individually...one at a time....taking a lot of my time. I notice they all retain their same file names in the timeline. Isn't there a way I can select all of them at once and export them with their individual file names all in one go (with any FX I've added)?
