Maya Modeling :: Moving / Focusing Manipulator Gizmo?
Apr 18, 2012I am wondering if it is possible to move/focus the manipulator gizmos in Maya.
If I for example am working on a tall plank and want to align the bottom part with something I'd zoom in to be more precise, but since the manipulator is stuck in the middle of the plank I have to zoom out anyway and find a spot where I'm fairly zoomed in but still can see the manipulator.. If there is a way to make the manipulator follow on the screen when i zoom in (without altering the pivot point) I'd be able to work so much easier.I am of course talking about all the manipulators (move, rotate and scale).

Sep 4, 2012Is there a way to use geometry with mods (like ripples or waves for instance) as an atmospheric gizmo for volume fog?
I want to conform the shape of the gizmo to a animated geometry, instead of the rigid boxes and spheres.

Photoshop :: CS6 Extended Timeline Video Animation - How To Make Rotation Animation

What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.
VideoStudio :: Sounds Disappear When Import Movie To Timeline
Dec 14, 2013I am completely new to movie editing of any sort and Corel VS x6 Ultimate is my first dipping of my toes so to speak.
When I import a movie into the timeline, the sound from that movie plays for approximately the first 2-4 minutes, and then cuts out. When looking at the sound mixer in the timeline, I can see where the wave simply cuts out at a point between 2 - 4 minutes (the actual time varies for each movie but it is within that 2-4 minutes bracket for all).
I have imported several movies and it is the same for each of them. The only time it doesn't happen is if the imported film itself is only of short duration (3-4 minutes). The other movies all are of approximately 10 minutes duration.
Is there a limit to how long a movie must be when importing to VS? If so, it seems awfully short?
The movies are game recordings made in game using Nvidia Shadow play. All of them play perfectly fine in an actual movie player with the full recorded sound throughout.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VS software to no avail. I'd really lik to edit the raw footage from the games to make some nice edited movies (figured I would use these game movies to learn the VS software).

Aug 28, 2013I move a guideline, vertical one, so I'm moving it in the horizontal plane... and it disappears when I drop it.
But then, if I click somewhere else on the screen, it reappaers.
AutoCad :: Figures Disappear When Moving Cursor?
Mar 19, 2012New to CAD, so probably typical newby problem. When I try to draw (in Nanocad, since it's the only one I can afford) I don't see what I'm doing, i.e. the lines and figures keep disappearing when I move the cursor. Trying again I see my drawings very briefly and then they're gone again. Tried all and every button, menu etc. and hardware is okay.

Nov 5, 2011I'm new to the animation aspect of 3Ds Max and I have a running cycle that is stationary but would like to figure out how to get it to move forward? I didn't use Footsteps in the Motion Panel to have a base to work with and modify it. What are my options? I have the weekend off from work to mess with it and if I have to do the hard part of moving the biped forward myself, I'll do so. Would I be able to create Footsteps and attach them to my biped with the animation I have? Or is there a system, option, etc. that I should set up in the beginning before animating that would allow me to move the feet and the rest would follow using the biped?

With adobe premiere this is really simple, i have watched about 100 clips at you tube but can't find it. I have tried using the CTRL key but than i need to select each item seperate...way to much work to select hundreds of items.

Mar 15, 2012I'm working on a lengthy video highlights project with many clips less than 5 seconds and want to know the easiest way to bulk move at least 10+ clips at a time on the timeline to either an earlier or later point than they're currently at. In essence, I'm hoping that I can "bulk" cut and paste all these clips together instead of doing it one clip at a time by either dragging each individual clip or cutting and pasting.

Sep 27, 2011I have a chain moving along a spline, and I want to know how to make the chain disappear when it reaches a certain point, then reappear when it moves out of that point. I don't want the whole chain disappearing, i just want the part of the chain that has moved off of the spline.
I suppose you could say i'm trying to hide it.
I'm trying to make the clawshot from twilight princess. The chain shoots out a hundred feet, but then disappears when it goes into the device.

I have read the Adobe tutorial but nothing really says how to place key frames into the timeline space.
