View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two photos, shooted probably the same day, by the same photograph in the same place !But the pose is a bit different. first one is in high resolution and in black & white nuance. second one is a small resolution and in full colors.
I wish re-color the black&white photo using exactly the same nuance from the colored one.
can i "copy" all the colors from the color-one to the b&w one ?
i hope there is a quick way to do that with adobe photoshop or with a commercial plugin. Something like : i load the first one (color), i load the second one (b&n), and i press Ok and magic appears !

Is there an easy way to do color tints on a photo in PhotoPAINT? And by that I don't mean just correcting the tint, I mean converting a regular photo into one that has a single color tint (e.g., yellow, red, etc.). I've tried graying it out and then adding a transparent color layer over it, but I'm not getting the result I'm looking for.
Also, while I'm at it, are there any (current) books out that cover PhotoPAINT in depth? I know that the official DRAW book has a section on it, but it's pretty basic.
I'm not sure if i can explain this properly, but I'll give it a go;
How can I change the color of a picture (jpg) so that the picture is build up in one color only.
I want the effect as shown the pictures below (assuming that the original sky was blue/white-ish)
I am very new to photography and Lightroom 3.4 64 bit. I have a photo of an apple on the table. I want to get the photo black and white (did that already). Now I want the apple it self to remain its own red color. How do I do that?
Also, I have this apple and its reflection is on the knife that is cutting the apple. How can I get that in color too?
So Ive learned how to turn a color photo to B&W with spot color ...how to turn a color photo sepia, but also spot color. I have a wedding photos that I think would be a fun shot to play mixing those colors together . I have searched for the info earlier today and wasnt successful .

Can't seem to get it to accept much color, either by using Match Color or Color Match, using overlay/color in layers. Want to add a bright green. I can paint right on the photo, of course, but lose all texture of the animal(s).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using CS2 and have the following issue. I've scanned some line art (white paper, black ink) into the computer and opened it up in PS. Some of the larger areas of black were spotty, so I went over them using PS black.
Many layers above the background, I'm unable to mark anything over the initial line art. I'd like to add dots of white (stars in space) and I want to have a narrow border of green, with black on both sides. I am working in the top layer, and none are locked.
i am trying to turn a black and white image or line art (with or without grey tones) into an image with white and one color.
an example would be if i have a white page with black lines on it. how could i go about making the black lines pink (and let's say they are on the same layer) without taking the paintbucket to each area?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have no clue about photo editing, graphic design, its out of my entire scope. I had hired a grahic designer who has since flaked out on me leaving me hanging high and dry. here is my problem- I have a small (hobby mainly) mineral makeup "company" that I am putting online for my small customers, I had my photographer take the "main" foundation picture and then I was able to have her then change that same photo with my 10 different shades of foundation color- essentially its the same photo except the color/shades are different to correspond with my makeup line.
however, I need 5 more done. I have a jpg of the colors from the manufacturer and of course my original foundation photograph
how on earth you change the color on my foundation to add a new color without taking all new pictures.

I need to change some lines that are in a layer from a black/gray to brown. So I tried to change it by right clicking (PS 7.0) and blending options then tried a bunch of stuff and nothing seems to work: color overlay, blend mode, blend if... but I can't get the color.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone tell me how to do this? The color I need is somewhere between #734002 and #B16203.
how to change a line color on a black and white drawing? I just want to be able to change the line color to purple, red, blue, etc...I assume there is an easy way to do this.
