AutoCAD Visual LISP / AutoLISP :: Changing Text Formatting Style Inside All Text Contents

How i can give all the contents inside one style ? the normal procedure i will enter inside text to enter editing mode and changing text format style one by one. I Â want it once.
I want to save my routing of entering every text to change its content text style.
(Notice:select all from outside without editing mode will not do the job)
Photoshop :: Cropping Is Not Changing Document Size
Oct 3, 2013I have a photo 36" x 24". I have cropped to 18.5 x 12.5" yet the document size remained the same. Now when I go to print on 13" x 19" paper, only a portion prints because the photo is too big. I shouldn't have to "scale" as then I have no way of confirming that it really will print to the crop dimensions.

Since upgrading to CS6, I have had issues with how the crop is done. For example, why when I open a photo in CS6, the crop tool is already selected by default?
Photoshop :: Changing Percentage Of Document Opacity Or Zoom?
Jul 25, 2013sometimes when trying to manually input the percent number for either layer opacity or image zoom, when I try to type a number I just get a DING sound and it wont allow me to do anything. It goes away after I click a bunch of random things, minimize photoshop and then open it up again. Why does it do this? All I do is click on the percent number, try to input a new number but it sometimes just doesn't allow me to do so. I check all around the document to see if there is anything going on that may interfere but I notice nothing. What is it trying to tell me when it just dings and refuses to change the numbers?

Nov 16, 2013Basically I am making a new pattern of stars, so I created a 1000 by 1000 document, filled with black, added noise, then added an adjustment layer to thin out the noise and make it look like stars in space. It looks great!
How to save it without the effect changing. I tried flattening the image, and it messed up how I wanted it to look. I tried merging visible, that didn't work. I tried just saving it as a PNG, like I do with all my projects, but that didn't work. And defining a pattern did the exact same thing. I just want to have what I physically see on the screen save as is so I can use it with other things.

AutoCAD .NET :: Changing Document Focus While Executing A Command
Sep 30, 2012I am occasionally developing with ObjectARX 2013. The problem: A command being executed from a document needs to focus on another document. I am doing that as:
Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument = aGeneratedDrawing;
After this line, the focus is taken by the other document. But the command execution just stops without producing any visible error or catchable exception. Apparently, the document focus cannot be changed during execution of a command.
A solution: What worked in the end was displaying a .NET form inside the command, like:
Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.ShowModelessDialog(aForm);
Then, performing the very same set of actions on a button click works flawlessly.
The question is: can using the form as a mediator be avoided? It is redundant there. I tried hooking to CommandEnded, executing the code as a separate command via Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument.SendStringToExecute, and also executing the code in a separate delayed thread. So far, only triggering the code via the form worked.

The problem is, under Mountain Lion that path doesn't exist. When I go to my user name, there is no "Library" folder at all. Under "Shared" there is an AI Library folder, but it has nothing of any value in it.

My AI startup document (that I've been using for ages) is found here:

HD > Applications > Adobe Illustrator CS3 > Plug-ins > filename.ai

However, if I navigate there and make changes, then quit Illustrator and re-launch it, nothing happens. I'm using the same old defaults as before. I know I need to upgrade to a later version of CS, but the prices have become so outrageous there's no way I can justify it as long as AI and PS are working. You need a mortgage to buy new Adobe products these days.

"error opening the portable document file (PDF) document. error code = 0X20030055"
I can open this pdf file outside photoshop.no problem openning other pdf files on photoshop.

Jun 19, 2012Recently upgraded from CS2 --> CS5 in windows.  This issue started with that upgrade. Been using PS for years.In my large PSD files I use folders to logically-group layers. With CS5, when I put layers into a folder, it automatically groups the layers (not links, groups). When trying to move the contents on ONE LAYER in a folder (using the mouse).... it moves ALL the layers in the folder. Â

If I use the keyboard ARROW keys, I can move the contents of one layer in a folder independently of the other layers in the folder.I have not explicitly asked PS to group or link ANYTHING in my file. The default seems to be to GROUP layers in a folder. It did not used to be this way.Â

If I UNGROUP the layers in the folder, it deletes the folder and the layers are now all at the root level. I lose my organization.The only way to get around this is either:Â
(1)Â leave the folder grouped and use the keyboard arrow keys to move the contents on one layer (way too cumber some), orÂ
(2) MOVE the layer out of the folder, move the contents of it, then move the layer back into the folder.

Apr 22, 2013I have a weird problem with Photoshop cs6 extended. I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance ).

my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

Large PS file (CS6 and CC) half a dozen texture layers using low res images. Several have blend modes, transparency and even masks. I now have the same images in high res. I want to replace just the image, but not lose my blend/transparency, or masks.

Do I bring in the high res layer, copy the mask over etc? Then delete the original?

GIMP :: How To Change Contents Of Toolbox
Aug 1, 2012On the GIMP home page it says GIMP v2.8 was released on 2012-05-03.On the downloads page it says for Ubuntu use the Ubuntu Software Centre.That only has v2.6.12 .There doesn't seem to be any other way of getting it.
I want the latest version because various posts indicate the counter-intuitive behaviour of Toolbox Window etc has changed, and it seems pointless to complain if it has already been fixed.
My question on v2.6.12 is: since there are only 3 tools in the Toolbox that I ever use,and no buttons to bring up the Brightness/Contrast dialog etc,how do I change the contents of Toolbox ?In most apps, for example Firefox, you have View > Toolbars > Customiseand can then drag and drop the buttons you use regularly from/to a pool of buttons.
I thought there must be at least a plug-in that does that, because it is so obvious,but the plug-ins registry doesn't seem to have anything like that under Toolbox or Toolbar.
