In Applications/Photoshop, right clicking or ctrl+click does not give me "Show Package Contents" (it does work for Lightroom 4) - I beleive it is necessary to get to Show Package Contents in ordder to add Photoshop to the dock? Or is there another way to add Photoshop to the dock?

View 6 Replies View Relatedi purchased a symbol package online and it came with these instructions URL... that i followed to a T. the problem.,. well the symbols and the brushes do not show in library for me to use. the package name showed in the library.. but when i click on it, the list is empty. how can i get them to show in the library permanently.

by the way, when i open the downloaded package using Ai, the symbols are there and i am able to open them no problem. but i can't get them to populate in the brushes, symbols library.Â
in LR3 custom package did not support photo info. Has this changed in LR4 - is there a way to add a caption to a jpeg file generated via the custom package?

I'd like to prepare a multiple pages package in the Print Module. I need to view each single page, as because every time I add new page the cells become smaller and it's hard to arrange the images well.
I'm creating a file that has many artboards that I would like to be seen sequentially after saving as a PDF. I've been creating the artboards one at time from left to right to accomplish this. As you can imagine, there are times when I want to add an artboard before something that's already there but it seems like there's no way to do that if there is no more room horizontally...that you have to add extra artboards at the end of all of them and shift everything over to make room for the one you want to insert, which is time consuming.

It also seems like once the artboards get to a certain point horizontally (even if it's before the edge of the whole document where you can't place any to be seen), they don't show-up in the PDF, and you have to create a new row. What is the cut off point?
I had a palette on my dock which gave me a thumbnail of all my imported images available
anyway at some point i clicked on the x after I had finished the project, but now it seems to be gone forever (does not automatically appear) when I open a new project...question is where is it and how do i get it back.
i have the PSCC icon on the desktop but I cannot make it go on the Mac dock. Is there a way to do this?

When I tried to move the options bar from the top of the screen and dock it at the bottom (as I have always done in CS3) I find that I cannot. There's an empty space and when moused over it says Adobe Photoshop CS6 but it's just a blank space. The icon is missing from the Applications folder too.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm writing because after reinstall the Mountain Lion (10.8.4), I realized that dragging an image from Chrome (29.0. 1547. 62) to the dock icon Photoshop CS6 the icon is not active and therefore the program does not open with the image, I tried with firefox (23.0.1) and the dock icon photoshop is animated and open photoshop but show the following message "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." I tried with SAFARI and all fine, without problems. I note that before reinstallation and after doing a clean install (I do a back up, I formated the hard drive and install the mountain lion) this option worked perfect.

I check the following path ~ / Library / Caches / TemporaryItems that is where store the pictures as you take the browser and when stored in the folder but never open photoshop, I want to emphasize that opening photoshop and open a blank canvas, I can drag and drop (drag and drop) and the image appears, but with the dock icon anymore.

I have many theories but also not solve:
Â
1. It's a permissions problem.
2. Any option is not enabled (OS X or photoshop) or not installed
3. Some kind of incompatibility, but again and worked without problems.
I'm running Photoshop CS6 x64 on a Lenovo T510 running Windows 7 x64.

My Lenovo T510 laptop will automatically switch from Intel HD Graphics adapter (CS6 reports The Intel HD graphics card doesn't work with CS6's "Use Graphics Processor") when undocked to NVidia graphics adapter (CS6 reports as NVS 3100M/PCIe/SSE2) when docked. See [URL]

Unfortunately, this means that undocking with CS6's default settings will hang Photoshop.exe with 100% of one CPU core. Photoshop recovers again after the PC is docked and the NVidia graphics adapter is enabled again.

When I turn off CS6's hardware acceleration, the problem goes away.

Updates says I have the latest Photoshop CS6 installed.

It's brand-new install and I haven't changed any settings since installation.

This seems like a bug in Photoshop: PS should be smart enough to realize that the graphics card has changed instead of hanging the CPU.
I have replaced the icon on the dock and run disk utilites I still can not drag a file on to the icon on the dock to open it, any other suggstions.
