View 2 RepliesI've used History Snapshots before, even changing the current view from within InDesign, but today I opened a file that should have had two snapshots saved in it, but both snapshots were gone.

Appearantly arrows are not good enough.
Manage image history and snapshots?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt seems like a simple enough request, but I'm just not seeing it. When I export (from Library) I want all the photos and snapshots of each to be exported. Is there a way to do this? Or, do I need to make virtual copies of each snapshot, THEN do an export?
View 1 Replies View RelatedLR 4.3, Windows 7. I've started using Snapshots as a convenient way to capture in-process images. But, I can't find a couple things I'm sure HAVE to be in here somewhere...
1. The "generate virtual copies from all the snapshots of this image" button
2. The "export all the snapshots to jpgs or tiffs or whatever" button
When i am taking uv snapshot, an error is seeing.
Error: Failed to open output file: E:WORKSMayaMaya WorksSwordimagesoutUV.jpg
Is there any way to force Snapshots and Virtual Copies to read metadata from the original raw file after an update of the same?
I had to change the lens name on some Leica M9 files to correct an operator (me) error, and I did it by editing the exif data with an exif editor and then forcing LR4 to read the metadata from the file. This worked well for everithing but the snapshots and the virtual copies on which the metadata remain as originally registered, unchanged.
Is there a way to add a keyboard shortcut or marking menu shortcut for visibility? It would be really convenient to be able to shift-click several objects and toggle the visibility of them. I have a mouse with numerous buttons that are mapped to commonly used IV features, but I cannot find a way to map a visibility toggle.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've created various snapshots of a series of photos and I'm ready to export. Is there a way to export all the snapshots at once, in a single export step? Up to now, I've been doing this step by step, exporting one version of the image, than going to the next snapshot and exporting again.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmethods of Mark johnson as outlined in one of his old Radiant vista tutorials which required the selection of all pixels above 50% brightness. The only way he ever showed how to achieve this in windows, with an image opened, multi-layered, was by the use of the shortcut "CTRL/ALT/TILDAR". This shortcut does not work in my newly installed CS4 - does anyone know of a substitute either long or short?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm just starting to use CS2. In CS if you wanted to make a selection of an individual object that was on its own layer, all you had to do was control/command click that layer. I used it all the time. Now its gone in CS2. Does anyone know how you do this? I've searched thru the shortcuts to no avail.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a shortcut key in selecting a specified layer?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI usually just cntrl-z to undo it (or delete the state in history), then make a new layer and manually re do it, but you lose the work you just did on the wrong layer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a shortcut to select all in Photoshop CS5?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt keeps messing with my workflow as I use the backspace a lot and the help key (Mac) is really easy to press. Keeps opening my browser which is not a good idea when you're working huge images and you're on a schedule.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if the shortcut CTRL+ALT+2 still works in CS6? Whenever I hold these three keys down at the same time nothing happens. Is it my PS that is playing up? I have used this shortcut several times in CS5!
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen using Curves, one used to be able to move from one point to the next ("point" is what I use to refer to the points that determine the shape of the curve) by holding the Control key and pressing Tab.
This no longer appears to work with Photoshop CS5. I am wondering how I can move from one point to the next without having to click on the next point. More often than not I end up actually moving the point when trying to click on it.
I have a photo of a bottle of wine. I want to create a layer with only the bottle on it and no background. I have be using the magnetic lasso but it does not work well. I was shown once that you could put a rectangle around the selection, hold a button down and hit a key and the selected area surrounds the object perfectly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just got a new mac book pro, and i'm not sure how to do this.
Lets say I rasterize some text, now i want to do something to it... i go to the layers and want to have marching ants go around the whole layer. I thought it was APPLE+CLICK but its not working, i tried searching the forums but couldnt find it. what do i do?
I believe it's a 3-key shortcut, used to select all objects on a transparent layer, especially useful if you want to select text without having to use the magic wand on all the little holes in the a's & e's etc. Something involving ctrl+a+?

Is there a keyboard shortcut for RESTORE?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a keyboard shortcut for 'Resize' ... or can it be added to right click?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI remember Klatu Baradda Nekto used a shortcut in an explanation a while back which revealed the background layer. I'm doing some repetetive work at the moment, and that shortcut would be real handy.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI figured out what the resolution is. Problem was with keyboard drivers. I unistalled the drivers and then updated them and that seemed to resolve the issue. All actions are back in working order.
