Apr 4, 2012I want to change the shortcut for super nudge from shift + arrow to ctrl + shift + arrow. I can't find super nudge or micro nudge in the keyboard shortcuts list. I tried checking "navigate to conflict on assign" but that doesn't seem to work very well in general and fails completely with super and micro nudge.

System preferences will not let you add shortcuts to Illustrator.

It would be really convenient to be able to shift-click several objects and toggle the visibility of them. I have a mouse with numerous buttons that are mapped to commonly used IV features, but I cannot find a way to map a visibility toggle.

Feb 21, 2008I use PsCS3 at home and work. I took some work home today, and SHOCK, I didn't have any of the same fonts I have on my Mac at work. Right now, I'm laboriously changing all my type layers one by one to a suitable replacement font on my PC. There's got to be a better way - more suitable to a lazy sod like me, right?
The perfect solution would be to assign the font I want to use for the default substitution font (which is Myrid Pro). I've searched everywhere, but have come up with nada. Is there a way to change this default font to one of my selection?

cmd-alt-c: copy layer style
cmd-alt-v: paste layer style
Copy layer style is listed in the keyboard shortcuts dialog. For some reason it wants to raster shape layers so that's totally unusable.

May 16, 2005I'm working through Scott Kelby's book on photoshop for digital photographers with a group of scrapbookers and am stuck in the bridge chapters. I would like to assign keywords to png files. Is there any way to do this? If I try to assign a keyword, my error message is that there is no metadata. One person in the group says she can assign a keyword to a png format.

Mar 14, 2013I'm a 3D artist, and I've been using photoshop for texturing my models for so long. Now that photoshop has improved it's 3D features, It's making my life so easy, but there's a problem(other than the memory consumption).
I have to change my navigation from rotation to panning and zooming by clicking on the buttons on top, and for a long run it would be devastating , and I haven't found a way to assign any shortcuts to them so I can easily and quickly hover around my 3D model to texture and paint it.
I personally Believe that It won't be addressed until CS7 or some other version.

Mar 23, 2012I'd like to assign hotkeys for 10 or twelve different Tools I've customized and preset, including smudge, brush (various), selection, etc... I'd like to do this without using and action since they have limited assignable keys (F keys), and it would be great if they were centered around asdf keys.
The best I've been able to come up with is to have the tools panel open, press a hotkey and bring up a custom SET of presets, but this still doesn't make the current tool a specific tool, I still have to select from the panel.
Is this possible in CS5 or CS6?

Sep 26, 2012I've got an older version of Photoshop CS that I am attempting to thinapp and assign to my virtual desktop. I get the same virtual desktop each time.
The thinapp process went fine and the program works but every time I log off and log back on it says a hardware change has been detected and I have to re-activate the software in order to use it. It activates successfully and I can use the program but I don't think I should have to do this every time.

AutoCAD Map 3D :: DEM - Assign Coordinate System
Aug 15, 2012I'm using Map3D & Raster Design 2012.
I have connected to some SRTM DEM data, but the resulting terrain and contours I generated are not showing properly. Specifically, the map area is stretched out of shape (too wide L & R). I seem to recall it had to do with setting the proper "define coordinate system" option for the file.

Jul 17, 2012I have been working with Map 3D 2011 and assigning Global Coordinates to my drawings for 2 years with no problems. Now when I click on the icon or enter the command "adesetcrdsys" in the command line trying to Assign Global Coordinates the dialogue box to select my options does not appear.
I only get a response in the command line to enter a code. And I can't assign coordinates with other options available. How do I get the dialogue box back?

Oct 8, 2013Too often, I have a job, where backburner assigns a bunch of frames to one server while all the others sit there idle as if to agonize me for all the money I spent and lack of time I have.
It happened this time when rendering with skipped frames selected. It assigned 20 frames to one machine. Reseting the tasks doesn't reaqsign them.

I am on a step where it is explaining how to assign a bitmap image onto a plane, however, I cannot get the image to show up.
I create my plane add the image to the diffuse map deselect real-world scale option change the tiling value for U V to 1 and deselect tiling for both
select the plane I want to add the image to click the assign material to selection button (I dont see anything change at this point) Then the final step it says to click the "show standard map in viewport button" - I cannot locate this button within the material editor... there is a grayed out "put material to scene" a "show shaded material in viewport" ??? neither seems to do anything?
