I had worked out a psd file within ITC Zapf Dingbats font. But now I can't edit it in new purchased Ps Cs6 extend. copy the font from my older Xp laptop (Ps6) to the newest Win7 laptop (Ps Cs6)?
View 7 RepliesI was looking at a video editing tutorial for CS6 yesterday and I wanted to try it myself, but when I opened the timeline I noticed that my version of the timeline and the one in the video were completely different. At first I thought that it was just because I had to upgrade to CS6 Extended to get the full video editing experience, but when I searched around I saw nothing that would suggest that that would be the case.
Multiple people said that the regular CS6 version included the same video editing capabilities as the extended version, and the comparison chart on the Adobe website indicated the same thing. Do I really need to upgrade to the Extended version to get that feature?

I started using Photoshop cs6 extended yesterday. i have no problem on tools but i have problem on saving my files in Photoshop cs6 extended. i've tried to save my files like being shown in tutorials but when i click on the 'save' or 'save as' button, nothing appear on my screen.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI purchased CS5.5 extended about 3 weeks ago and all was working fine. Just yesterday Photoshop started crashing whenever I try to open files. I've deleted preferences several times, validated my fonts, restarted my Mac, etc. all to no avail. Photoshop has become useless to me and it's part of how I make my living. InDesign seems to work OK but I haven't tried Illustrator yet.

I have tried multiple times now to download a trial for Photoshop CS6 Extended. Everyone says that the CS6 trial is already the extended version and only changes based on your serial number at purchase but every time I try to open a video project of mine it says "This file contains a timeline-based animation (Photoshop Extended only)"
View 1 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.

I right click and go through the edit menu and does not appear or is not available? Would I have to reopen it manual in photoshop or is there a way around this to access that setting? it sometimes does not appear on my already edited photos.
I would prefer not to open each photo again, as some files i do not have and were imported into the document with another computer.
Whenever I tell LR to edit a photo in PS (CS6), I get back a TIFF file that is 10X larger than the orginal RAW file, and I ultimetly delete it to save space (after first converting it to a jpeg). Why doesn't PS do LR style non-destructrive editing, i.e., why not simply return a record of the edits made in a format compatible with LR?

For earlier versions of Photoshop we were told to download 3 party plug-in to get this format to work. Our IT person said that the 3 party plug-in can no longer be used with CS6. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I am using Lightroom 5.2, and I try to edit a file in Adobe Photoshop CC from Lightroom, Photoshop starts up and after 15 to 20 seconds, I receive the following error message: "The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop CC could not be launched." If I click "OK" on the error message form, the image finally opens in Photoshop.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom 5.2 and Photoshop CC multiple times, but the edit in Photoshop problem won't go away.
I can not get my updated lr 5 and photoshop cc to work together? it will not read my file to "edit in" photoshop cc.I know Lr 5 created a new version of the same catalog from lr 4.4 today.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was entitled to a free upgrade to CS4 which I have installed but I now have many problems in trying to get CS4 to run properly.
1. Sometimes CS4 will open but the toolbar with FILE, EDIT is missing
2. Mostly when I open CS4 IF I click on 'FILE' everything is greyed out apart from Import, Automate and scripts and CS4 hangs.
3. If I click on FILE to try and open a file that too is greyed out until I click on 'Clear open recent'
4. If I open a image and want to get rid of any blemishes with the spot healing brush I can select the tool, click on a spot and a nice splodge is left on the image but the tool does not clear the blemish until I click on a completely different tool. eg. Text or anything.
5. Using Unsharp mask As I move the 'Radius' Nothing happens for ages.
So I have absolutely no idea why this these things are happening.
My System is Windows Vista
4GB Ram (although CS4 only thinks I have just under 2GB
CPU Intel Dual core 2.2GHZ
Graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce 7300 GT and last week I downloaded a new driver to 7.15.11.7824
I have played with the cache and memory allocation, to no avail
I just deleted a folder before I should have. Now I need to edit a photo that's still in Elements Organizer but it won't let me do anything because there's no connected file. Is there any way I can get at this picture to edit it?

I just got through with one by exporting it so I could use it in a Publisher project, but it's still in Organizer (PSE9) with the infamous red band. I can't get into the editor because it's busy and I have to finish editing. It's like an endless loop.
