Jun 19, 2013Google earth image import has always worked well for us in 2010 but since updating to 2012 we have not been able to import a google image. We get the following error message

Illustrator :: Insufficient Memory - Error Message Pop-up
Oct 7, 2013I got “Insufficient Memory” error messages in working on the job needed large files ( > 100MB) with AI 5.5 in office with below #1 PC spec. Error message starts to happen after working 15min to 1 hour depends on the file. I need to restart computer in each “Insufficient Memory” error message pop-up (otherwise the messages will continue to pop-up). Sometimes the file can’t be saved after the error message occurred.
I have never encountered this memory issue at my home with below #2 Mac spec.#1 PC spec looks better than #2 Mac spec. Why PC can’t perform like Mac does? Do you have any solution to fix the “insufficient Memory” issue in #1 PC spec? I had already reset the AI preference as the following link but it doesn’t work. URL...

Mar 17, 2011I use Illustrator CS 5 and am working with a large image. Problem is, when I sometimes try to save my Illustrator file as a joeg I get the dreaded "Insufficient memory was available to complete the operation" error message. It doesn't happen every time BUT when it does its a pain because I have to close all my programs and restart my computer.

Feb 8, 2013I was placing final touches on paper space viewports (changing transparency settings etc), after wrapping that up, saved. Then tried to Publish. That's where things went downhill, drawing/publishing froze, forced to restart, now the drawing only loads to ~68 - 75% and hangs / freezes. Eventually, I get a message box stating that AutoCAD physical memory low, continuing will result in data loss. Task Manager claims AutoCAD is running @ ~98% (650Mb).
I can upload the drawing to AutoCAD WS and open it on my iPhone/iPad, but the 3D viewports are limited in detail.
Tried opening on a MAC and the same thing happens.
Tried clearing the Cachemax/cachemaxtotal, still nothing...

Dec 7, 2011I've had a simple lisp I've been using for years that suddenly disappeared. It required that you identify a block name, tag name, and the value that you want the tag to be. All of this is performed via command line, so it is scriptable. Since I lost it, I've been experimenting with -attedit. This command comes frustratingly close to what I'm looking for, except it only appends an existing tag, or replaces a specific string within the tag; I can't get it to replace the entire tag, regardless of its value.

Jan 2, 2013Everytime I want to use the 3D Mode on Photoshop CS5 Extended, the one option the I need is disabled.
My videocard can handle the graphics. So that is not the problem.The one that I need is "New Shape From Layer". The "New 3D Postcard From Layer" and the "New Mesh From Grayscale" are usable.

Jan 28, 2013I've been using photoshop CS5.1 for a long time with no problems. I upgraded to CS6 which i'm finding unusable due to repeated font warnings. I get interminable dialog boxes appearing over and over: "Adobe Photoshop CS6.app wants to use the font “xxxxxxx” that was downloaded from the Internet. Allow Adobe Photoshop CS6.app to use this font?"
It starts and stops doing this as i attempt to use PS CS6, and it's not just asking about fonts that are used in the document i have open - it does it for a huge list of fonts. And if i click 'Allow' AND 'don't ask me again for this font' it doesn't remember my choice and will ask again.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 :: Saving Files With Big Memory Instead Of Small Memory?
May 6, 2011I am using corel x3 a long time but never, never had this kind of problem. When i work in corel enviorenment after i have finished my work i go to save my work. But then is the problem It Saves the file with Large Memory on it. let's say if the file normally would be 200 K, now it saves with 3 MB. And if i import some other files in my work then the saved file will be even bigger. If i Delete the files that were imported The Saved File will be Again the same SIZE ! Even if a take one part of the file, let's say if i import only one small text and put it in another file and save it like that, the saved file will be 2 MB. I had a lots of problems, i had saved files on this way with 23-24 MB and when i open them it takes like forever. When you look that file in corel it has nohing in it, absolutely nothing that should be 24 MB. But all of my important work is in that files how to make all things back to normal again,

Nov 4, 2011I do have problem with my newly installed CorelDraw X5. Before X5 we used Corel 12 in our company.
I have project file (150 MB) with lots of text, bitmaps, vectors - about 100 pages. File opens but I can't save it. I always get OUT OF MEMORY error. I even tried to divide this file into 2 smaller parts but still doesn't work.
What I noticed - Corel X5 after clean start (without opened project) takes about 80MB of RAM in task manager. When I open project usage changes from 80MB to 1,2GB. While saving it takes 1,6GB of RAM and it crashes.
To compare - Corel 12 and after opening same project file Corel 12 takes much less of memory - about 770MB and it works without problem.
Where from comes this memory usage difference?
My PC:
Windows 7 - 32bit
4GB of RAM
Intel Core2Duo 2 x 3.0GHz
700GB free space on drive C:

Aug 10, 2012I am saving graphics from Word for usage in a Framemaker document. When I copy and paste the file into Photoshop it becomes blurred and unusable. How do I resolve this? I have tried saving the file in it's highest resolution but that doesn't work either.

Sep 2, 2013I am a Photoshop 7.0 user on Windows XP. I have used Photoshop 7.0 for several years with pleasing results. Recently my installed version crashes at the same stage of use. I decided to buy a new program CD and uninstalled the original program. After installation of the new program Photoshop 7.0 still crashes at the same stage. Photoshop 7.0 starts up normally. Opens and displays an image file normally. However as soon as you select an option from the drop down menus e.g.(Filter/Unsharp Mask) the cursor arrow changes to a small square outline and most of the drop down menus become grey and unusable. The View menu still displays and functions normally all others are frozen. My installed version of Photoshop 5.0 works perfectly! Any other way than a complete system re-installation?

Dec 19, 2012Currently in PS and Camera raw, double-clicking the Hand tool fits the document and double clicking the zoom tool zooms to 100% (1:1 pixels)
This isn't good since it's completely unusable:
- dbl click zoom shows 100% - there's nothing to zoom, since it's zoomed...
- dbl click hand shows the image fit to window - the hand tool wouldn't make anything
switch the current double click behavior on Zoom and Hand tools so:
- dbl click hand shows 100% (1:1 pixels) so I can look around and see details
- dbl click zoom shows fit to window so I can zoom in to a region I want

Jul 29, 2013Until last week I had no problems importing, playing or editing Canon 60D RAW or MOV videos in Lightroom 5. Since then, ever time I tried to import MOV videos LR5 crashed and needed to be restared - but is now 'permanently' crashed (see below). I tried the following to overcome the issue, without success: Unistalled and reinstalled LR 5Updated video card driverInstalled QuicktimeOS (Win 8 Pro, 64 bit) up-to-dateUpdated monitor driver. My last attempt to overcome the issue involved disabling all LR5 plug-ins. I then tried to import a video file to see if that fixed the problem. LR5 again crashed, but this time it it appears to have crashed 'permanently' because when I try to reload LR 5 it gets as far as the LR screen, tries to load 'previous import' into 'Library' and then immediately crashes, i.e. I can't get into LR at all to try any other possible 'fixes'. I am now totally locked out of LR 5 because even after uninstalling and reinstalling LR it continues to crash immediately when I try to open it.
Other info that may assist resolving the problem includes: The video files that can't be imported seem OK - I can play them through Windows Media Player and Quicktime.DivX not installed. Installed a new video card (Gigabyte GT610) and installed the latest driver from the Gigabyte website. I don't know if it's coincidental, but the new video card and monitor were installed before the problem arose. CPU is an i5 - 3550, 8Gb RAM (+-5Gb available), LR5 stored on 120Gb SSD with 8.3Gb free, photo/video files stored on a 680Gb HD partition with 55Gb free.

Apr 8, 2013I have been using Video Studio Pro x2 for several years to edit and burn DVDs from the edited material with no problems. But for the last several months the burning process stops at the end of the VOB (whatever that is) but the blank disc is altered so it is unusable. It says that the Corel softwart has encountered a problem and has to close. I send a message every time but nothing comes of it. Another recurring problem is that it keeps telling me that the program will take a long time to burn even though I have checked the box to not show this message again.
The only way I have found to get the software to perform properly is to remove and reinstall the soft ware. Normal operation lasts for about four discs and the problem reoccurs. I have cleaned the hard drive of unnecessary files, etc. All my security updates are current.
I used this software on my previous two computers with no problems at all despite a much smaller Hard Drive, slower motherboard and much less memory.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Rotated Spline Becomes Unusable

Mar 11, 2012Just upgraded my primary catalog to LR4. The LR3 import problem that started in ~3.3 or 3.4 has not gone away. Import effectively hangs the app.
I have a 6 proc AMD 1055T, Win7x64, w/ 16GB ram, an ATI 5770HD video card driving two monis, one 27" and one 24", and a ton of disk space (4 hd: c 384 free of 931, x: 191 f of 1.36TB, y: 1.55TB f of 2.72TB, z: 1.4TB f of 2.72TB). Free space isn't the issue. I usually do have several network shares connected; disconnecting them and removing all optical media makes no difference. My primary catalog has ~30,000 images When I try to import, the dialog itself takes up to a minute to open.
Eventually, the select source prompt appears; clicking on my usb2 card reader causes the dialog to disappear for a long time, sometimes > 2 minutes. The busy icon is displayed.If I'm super patient, the import disalog will open, but can take many minutes (3-5) to display, and once displayed, the busy icon remains and the dialog is not interactive for another long period, for example, right now, it's been > 10 mins on the 8GB card I'm trying to import from, import dialog visibility comes and goes, interacting with the scroll bar works, but so far I've only been able to scroll about half way thru the picture previews
This is obviously unusable. I've perverted my workflow at this point to be:
Copy images to temp folder in pictures hierarchy Sync temp folder, adding new images, without showing the import dialog Then, in Library view, I copy the new pictures to their final dest in my pictures folder hierarchy.
I just converted the catalog, so presumably it's optimized (optimizing made no difference in lr3.6 perf). As I said, this perf problem started in 3.3 or 3.4. ABout the only improvement I see is that I was able to successfully cancel the import; in 3.6 the app just stayed hung.
Lightroom :: Tethering Unusable With Nikon D800
May 4, 2013I am on LR 4.4 using Nikon D800E.I had been using LR tethered with some intermittent locking issues since LR 3 with my Nikon D300.About 4 months ago, I purchased a Nikon D800E and started to use it tethered (as I had done with the D300) with LR 4.
It would lock up consistently and I would have to reboot the computer to regain functionality. This would happen so many times during a shoot, that tethering just became unusable.
After much testing, It turns out that the problem occurs when the camera's buffer reaches zero. LR consistently is unable to recover from this zero condition. Periodically it will allow one more shot after a bit (as if it tried to recover), but the shot in LR has an esclamation mark by it as damaged data. And at that point it will never recover without a complete computer reboot.
I'm shooting with a team in studio - I can't have LR be this flakey - It is not acceptable to not be able to reach a zero buffer condition while shooting (I'm using Profoto and it can recycle faster than the camera can send to LR). It is not usable in its current state tethered with a Nikon D800. Just not usable.
I had to switch to using Nikon's Camera Control 2 (which functions perfectly and never has trouble recovering from a zero buffer condition), until Adobe can fix this significant bug.
Come on Adobe - Fix your software so it functions.I also noticed that conveniently Adobe removed the functionality of their report a bug link.
Paint Shop Pro :: Photomatix Files In X4 Unusable / X3 Just Fine

Lightroom :: 5.0 Renders SD Card Unusable Till Formatting Is Done In Camera
Sep 3, 2013I remove an SD card from the Camera (canon 60d) Load it into my card reader and have it read by lightroom 5.0 and load the pictures into the catalog. I remove the card from lightroom and place it back into the camera. The camera indicates the card is not readable. However formating the card makes it usable. Lightroom 5.0 renders the card unreadable!

I removed the program using windows uninstall and my computer instantly began to respond again. Running Windows 7 Pro, 1 T 7200 rpm hard drive, 8 gb memory, quad core 775 chip. Nvidia video w/ 1gb memory.
This computer is lightning fast, no jitter or hanging in revit or auto cad until content services was running.

Let's say I'm using the 'Paintbrush, Opacity 70%, Hardness 075, Size 4.00' as my "standard outline tool". Can I some how save that preference (and any other tool such as "Specific Eraser Op. 100%, Hard. 100, Size 10.00) so that I can easily switch between "Ouline Brush" and "Specific Eraser" . Maybe to the 'f-buttons'
