How to make GIF images already. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to figure out how to edit all the frames at once. I would like to brighten them up and add curves, maybe sharpen.
I tried selecting all the layers, but then all the image editing options greyed out and weren't available. I really don't want to individually edit 58 frames, Is there a way to edit all at once? I'm using Photoshop CS3.
I have video that I want to change the color of a PART of a video. A person in the video is moving and I want to edit ONLY that person ( not the surroundings ) . How do I mask a moving object and only edit that selection?

Im looking to set it it 41ms for each frame, which Ive done when prompted as I save my file, but the playback speed seems to stay at 100ms delay when I open the finished .GIF. Is it possible Gimp has trouble applying the delay to a high amount of frames? Im used alot of layers, 280 to be exact. The images/layers are from a video I previously converted to PNGs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing X4 on Windows 7. I'm trying to create a series of custom edges to supplement those already supplied in X4. I've created the edge ok and exported it as a frame and it works ok. The problem is selecting it in the dropdown menu under Image/picture frames. Whereas the thumbnails of the supplied edges have grey shading to represent the transparent section of the edge, mine don't, they are just plain white and that makes it difficult to know what edge to select. What have I done wrong? I've opened a couple of the supplied edges and they look similar to mine ie no shading.

I work for a company that is willing to license Photoshop for a month when big projects come up - but they do not want to purchase a yearly subscription or purchase the whole program. I am creating business cover pages in photoshop - all the images, layout, etc will stay the same. But the text will need to change for each proposal. Is there an easy way to save the image as a PDF & then use another program to change the wording down the line?

In the past, when I open any photo in Elements 10, the image would pretty much fill the space. the bottom edge of the picture would almost reach the bottom of the workspace...whether vertical or horizontal format. Then I would create a duplicate and hit either ctrl + 0 (zero) and the duplicate would be a nice large size. ( Double clicking on the little hand in the tool bar would also do the same trick).
Now , for some reason, the picture opens to maybe 60% of that size. It's way too small to work on comfortably. The duplicate is even smaller. When I hit the ctrl + 0 ...nothing happens size remains the same. If I pull on lower right hand corner to enlarge...it only enlarges the ruler and frame. Picture itself remains same small size. How can I get that back? I tried a system restore. that did not work.
I have a prodject that i'm working on and i need to edit several images at once (preferabley) so that they are the same color. They are wooden cupboards and i need all the wood looking the same colour. In light room you can edit a group of images at the same time hence the colours are the same . Is this possible in Elements ? If so how do i do this ?
View 14 Replies View RelatedOn just one image this would be a no brainer, I'd just use the paint brush or similar tool to wipe over a section I want covered and use the crop tool to get the image size and position I'm after. The thing is though, I'd like to do the same edit and crop to a series of photos to keep them all consistent and it's beyond me how to do that in PS5. I find tips on using scripts, batch processing or stacking images that seem to defy the English language and don't address the two simple little things I want to do to these images.
Any resource, that could accomplish what I'd like to think should be a simple task for such an expensive program?
I can't edit/use any tools of my images b/c it says the layer is locked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have some embedded images in Frame Maker that I need to edit in Photoshop. I copy the image from FM and paste it as a new image into Photoshop. Most of the time its OK, but sometimes it comes up like this, or worse.
It should look like this.
Pasting the image into any other program (i.e. Word, Visio, Paintbrush) works, but it takes more time to fix it, the size is usually off and needs adjusting, and the output is of lower quality.
In FM, the images that seem to do this are JPEG / Frame Vector or PNG / Frame Vector according to the Facets field.
My young daughter is just 1 year old and I would like to insert her face into Christmas puppa's photo. So she will look like Christmas puppa's.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm traveling right now and so not in my natural environment, dont have full resources. I'm using my Mac Book Pro and doing some light editing. I can not, however, get Lr3 and PSE9 to play nice together though. If in Lr3 I request <Edit in PSE9> it only tries to launch PSE even if it is already open but will not open the imaged. If I drag the images from Lr3 to PSE it will be locked and I can not even create a duplicat layer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I was photographing the moon tonight and shooting in my usual format - RAW. I took the photos into Lightroom and selected the one I liked best. After tweaking the contrast and clarity a little, I decided that I wanted to change around where the moon way positioned - in a way crop wouldn't allow. So I turned to "edit-in" and then selected Photoshop CS6 from the options. All was fine, Photoshop appeared and I began editing. I decided that I wanted to place my moon in a completely different location, so to do this I decided I'd select the area around the moon, copy it, paint over it, then paste the moon back onto a new layer and paste it exactly where I wanted it. I think this is why I'm having issues. All was well and it was time to save. I hit save...suddenly it was taken ages to save. I'm talking at least 2 minutes of save time. Realising that was odd, I decided to check out how big the new file was...nearly 1GB big as a TIFF.
I don't like saving my photos as anything other than TIFFs, but I don't have unlimited storage space.
Why was this file so huge after editing in Photoshop, how do I avoid it/what did I do wrong?
I have both CS3 and CS6 and I can figure out how to do this exceedingly simple thing. Take an image, use a tool to create a spot on the image, make that location a hotspot - making it clicking/a hyperlink to a URL.
This used to be - in the 90's - incredibly easy to do. I've tried slicing an image - but when I save for web - it creates multiple files, including, depending on how I save it, an html file.
That doesn't work for my needs. I just want to take a gif/jpg/png image and make certain spots on it hyperlinked to different pages in my website. When I'm done, I need it to be, to remain, as one file, as one single gif/jpg/png file.
No html. No css. Just straight-up image mapping/hotspot creation.

I created an automated task to individually resize images and make thumbnails. Then I made a simple gallery layout in html and manually coded each thumbnail to link to the original sized image.
