I have a prodject that i'm working on and i need to edit several images at once (preferabley) so that they are the same color. They are wooden cupboards and i need all the wood looking the same colour. In light room you can edit a group of images at the same time hence the colours are the same . Is this possible in Elements ? If so how do i do this ?
View 14 RepliesOn just one image this would be a no brainer, I'd just use the paint brush or similar tool to wipe over a section I want covered and use the crop tool to get the image size and position I'm after. The thing is though, I'd like to do the same edit and crop to a series of photos to keep them all consistent and it's beyond me how to do that in PS5. I find tips on using scripts, batch processing or stacking images that seem to defy the English language and don't address the two simple little things I want to do to these images.
Any resource, that could accomplish what I'd like to think should be a simple task for such an expensive program?
i want to make colag..i hv edited multiple images individually..but unable to merge these photos into one common window in order to make colage..

When I drag an image from the organizer to Edit and then want to edit another image, it closes the first image and I don't want it closed. How do you have multiple images open in Edit from the Organizer?

But when I copy and paste another picture on, when I try to use the tools, it only works on the first picture. So I ended up editing the pictures one by one on separate files, then put them together, but now, i need them on the same file so I can get the size right. How do I fix this (or can I not)?

In the past, when I open any photo in Elements 10, the image would pretty much fill the space. the bottom edge of the picture would almost reach the bottom of the workspace...whether vertical or horizontal format. Then I would create a duplicate and hit either ctrl + 0 (zero) and the duplicate would be a nice large size. ( Double clicking on the little hand in the tool bar would also do the same trick).
Now , for some reason, the picture opens to maybe 60% of that size. It's way too small to work on comfortably. The duplicate is even smaller. When I hit the ctrl + 0 ...nothing happens size remains the same. If I pull on lower right hand corner to enlarge...it only enlarges the ruler and frame. Picture itself remains same small size. How can I get that back? I tried a system restore. that did not work.
I'm traveling right now and so not in my natural environment, dont have full resources. I'm using my Mac Book Pro and doing some light editing. I can not, however, get Lr3 and PSE9 to play nice together though. If in Lr3 I request <Edit in PSE9> it only tries to launch PSE even if it is already open but will not open the imaged. If I drag the images from Lr3 to PSE it will be locked and I can not even create a duplicat layer.

Is there some kind of "Next" command ... some quick way to move on to the second photo in the same folder, after I've finished editing the first?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have several overlapping catalogs in my elements 10. The largest is coordinated with the online backup (which is due to be terminated). It has over 400 missing images that cannot be reconnected via the online backup. Some of the wayward images may be in one of the other catalogs or a download to the external hard drive from the online backup (done last year).
1. How can I merge the several catalogs, and should I?
2. How do I search the the file in the external hard drive? I.e., how do I designate this file in the "browse" dialogue box for where to reconnect? I can navigate to it, but then what?
I am trying to get several different images to print on one page. I have an Imac and Photoshop Elements 9. No matter what I do I can only get the same image mulitiple times on a page. I have tried picture package and just print, neither works. IPhoto makes this very simple but I'd prefer to use Photoshop where I edit most of my photos. print different images on one page and different sizes if possible.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE9 and just put it on our new Mac 10.8.2 from windows 7. It runs fine but things aren't quite the same. On windows if I wanted to covnert a RAW file to jpg and was in the organiser I just clicked on file, save, and selected jpg and could choose mulitple photos easily. On the mac when I am in the organiser and click on file there is no save button....is it hiding. I can do them one at a time when I'm in edit but that is a very long way about doing it. Is there an easy way to select lots of photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg from RAW?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?
