View 1 RepliesI have used PSE10 to re-size multiple images by selecting the 'Process Multiple Images' option from the drop-down menu undeneath 'File'.
I have just migrated to PSE11 and this option is not available - it is greyed out and cannot be selected.
I want to resize many of my images to one size in order to publish them.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI work at an architectural company and I need to resize a lot of images in our database. We’re talking about roughly 40.000 images, but that is not the hurdle.Previously I have made an action that resizes my images in two steps, because I need them in two different qualities When I open the image and runs the action, it does something like this:
Convert mode: Convert to RGBSave: As JPEG, quality 10, and in a certain folderImage size: width 800px, constrain proportionsSave: As JPEG, quality 8, and in another folderClose Now I want to make a change to that action, by resizing the image two times instead of one.I want it to look something like this:
Convert mode: Convert to RGBImage size: width 4000px, constrain proportions (BUT ONLY IF THE IMAGE SIZE IS LARGE ENOUGH, OTHERWISE LEAVE IT AS IT IS)Save: As JPEG, quality 10, and in a certain folderImage size: width 800px, constrain proportionsSave: As JPEG, quality 8, and in another folderClose
How can I do this? Do I need to add a variable or?
When trying to resize multiple photos in Elements 11 and I click the browse button, It tells me the folder I selected is empty!! It has 17 photos in it in jpeg format If I go on to the destination folder and select one, It tells me I need to select a folder!! Both folders are on the desktop. I am using a Mac 10.6

View 5 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to automatically resize "multiple" photos in Photoshop Elements 4 to 720 x 480 pixels, so that when the resized images are transferred to Premier Elements 2 and then burned onto a DVD the whole image(s) are seen on a TV screen?
Quite often I have found that I must manually resize the images so they fit into the safe margins but this can be a tedious process if there are a lot of photos.
As of today, PSE will not resize images for me. I typically use PSE for this function and am familiar with it.
I thought it might have been the windows update that occurred last night, so I restored my system earlier, but it does not work. I still can't resize images.
I've tried to resize images after reloading my Photoshop but, whatever I do and whatever size I do, the original remains the same.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a series of pics (approx 80) that I'd like to load into Elements, with each photo going into a single layer. I google'd a series of old posts where somebody used a "script", but the links are no longer working and that trails is dead.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have just been trying to resize some images on the latest version - 3.510.4297.28964 - and I have typed the measurements that I wanted into the print size fields on the resize dialogue. The actual sizes the program resizes the images to differ though - some look to be about right, whereas some come out much larger, but they all show the dimensions that I inserted in the canvas size box.
I'm sure I've done this before and this hasn't happened?
I've just finished scanning thousands of photos, and I've placed them in about a dozen different folders. Now I'm looking to edit them one at a time. So I call up the Organizer and open up the Editor area to work on the first photo.
Is there some kind of "Next" command ... some quick way to move on to the second photo in the same folder, after I've finished editing the first?
How can I scan multiple photos on my HP Photosmart 7520 scanner into Photoshop Elements 11 without scanning them one by one. I want to place multiple photos on the scanner and have the software select the multiple images and place them in separate files for processing.

I use PSE10 to re-size multiple images and, further down the track, I then drop the re-sized images into word documents but I'd like to re-size them and border them.
I need to print multiple copies of a single image onto an A4 sheet with crop marks around each image. I have tried "contact sheet" and "picture package" but this doesn't provide control over the image size and I can't get crop marks.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have several overlapping catalogs in my elements 10. The largest is coordinated with the online backup (which is due to be terminated). It has over 400 missing images that cannot be reconnected via the online backup. Some of the wayward images may be in one of the other catalogs or a download to the external hard drive from the online backup (done last year).
1. How can I merge the several catalogs, and should I?
2. How do I search the the file in the external hard drive? I.e., how do I designate this file in the "browse" dialogue box for where to reconnect? I can navigate to it, but then what?
I am trying to get several different images to print on one page. I have an Imac and Photoshop Elements 9. No matter what I do I can only get the same image mulitiple times on a page. I have tried picture package and just print, neither works. IPhoto makes this very simple but I'd prefer to use Photoshop where I edit most of my photos. print different images on one page and different sizes if possible.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE9 and just put it on our new Mac 10.8.2 from windows 7. It runs fine but things aren't quite the same. On windows if I wanted to covnert a RAW file to jpg and was in the organiser I just clicked on file, save, and selected jpg and could choose mulitple photos easily. On the mac when I am in the organiser and click on file there is no save button....is it hiding. I can do them one at a time when I'm in edit but that is a very long way about doing it. Is there an easy way to select lots of photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg from RAW?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?
