Jan 24, 2013When trying to resize multiple photos in Elements 11 and I click the browse button, It tells me the folder I selected is empty!! It has 17 photos in it in jpeg format If I go on to the destination folder and select one, It tells me I need to select a folder!! Both folders are on the desktop. I am using a Mac 10.6

If I select two or more photos, then the people are no longer listed in the "image tags" info area, and the right-click menu does not list them under keyword tags to remove, it only shows "add person" not "remove person." Mar 4, 2009I've taken a large quantity of digital photos during the rare snow we had this year. Am new at digital and unfortunately I took at too great of a resolution for what I want to do with them.
I am making GIF backgrounds for PPT, and some grouping will have as many as sixty pics in them. But the file sizes are HUGE (my goof) and GIF animators can't handle them.
Is there any way to compress batches of photos all at once? (Can't find that on the Batch command unfortunately) Resizing them one by one is laborious, even using hotkeys. Time is an issue.

Lightroom :: How To Change Capture Time Of Multiple Photos To Specific Time
Feb 2, 2014I'm trying to change "capture time" of multiple photos to a specific time.
I know that there is "Edit Capture Time" feature under Metadata. But when I try to edit multiple photos, it says that "Modify the capture time stored in the selected photos by entering the correct time adjustment for the photo displayed to the left. Other photos (but not vidieos) will be adjusted by the same amount of time". And it really does.
For example,
If A file's capture time is 1/11/2011
B file's capture time is 1/11/2012
C file's capture time is 1/11/2013
I would like to change their capture time to 1/11/2014. All the three files.
But the current "Edit Capture Time" feature of Lightroom just adds three years to each file like this:
A file's capture time -> 1/11/2014
B file -> 1/11/2015
C file -> 1/11/2016
So their capture times remain as different ones. And this is not I want...
I've googled a lot and tried several programs other than lightroom as well, but the "Capture time" recognized by lightroom could not be changed by other programs.

Feb 26, 2014I'm currently on CS6 but I'm looking for a solution that can also work on CS5 for a co-worker.
Having multiple artboards has been established since CS4 and I have yet to see an official way of resizing multiple artboards, if anything there should at least be a plug-in.
As great of a feature it is, it seems a little short sited. If one has multiple artboards one should be able to manage multiple artboards, right?
I totally love having multiple artboards but I should be able to resize and manage multiple artboards as well. This is great for building icon sets but how can I resize the set all at once?
I was considering trying to do an action but odds are I still would have to select an artboard one by one to do which doesn't save much time if you have like 30 artboards to apply this to. I don't even see a batch render for artboards and Photoshop has that for its files.

I have a bunch of product photos that I need to resize to a square (1200x1200). I thought I might be able to import them all into Photoshop, resize them to fit the canvas.... center them all, one by one (not all photos are centered, this is my other issue) and then save them all at once. I have done all the above but cant figure out how to save each layer, as their respective layer name (ie. default photo name) with out flattening the layer and manually saving each one, one by one.
how to save as it wasnt a recorded action since all photos had some individual tweaking to center them on the canvas after I did a group (transform) resize.

I go to tranform image size and the outline surrounding the photo only moves up/down or side-to-side. How do I get the outline to move at the corners so I can easily manipulate the size? Either way - FN, CTRL, Win or other buttons do nothing to enlarge photo to where I want to set it. How can I accomplish this - any experts on touchpad conversion to number keypads out there? Dec 3, 2012What is the best way to use one layer in multiple photos. I separated a group of people in one photo and would like to place them in several other photos. I have been able to have the original photo in the bottom of Elements and copy the separated group. I can copy and paste that as a layer into the working area of another photo and then add it. However sometimes it blurs. Is this because the two photos are different resolutions? Is it possible to have the group as a seperate work but can not use that as a layer. I'm rather new to Elements and just trying to learn.
