Photoshop :: Brushes Gone From Preset Manager?
Mar 29, 2013I had lots of brushes put into my preset manager and now they have gone? this has happened before to my patterns textures preset. one day open and find them gone? Also is there a way that I can back up what is in my preset brushes and textures that are loaded? many. ps cs5

Sep 20, 2012Figure 1 are my grunge brushes i want to be using. Figure 2 is showing that my grunge brushes are not showing up in the menubar. Whenever i download and place any new brushes in my brushes folder. Even after a restart they never show up in figure 2. So what keeps happening is all my brushes keep getting piled up in figure 1 and it makes it impossible to find the ones i need.. And evne if i click on load brushes they still end up in figure 1 and not in there own seperate section within figure 2. Photoshop keeps classing my brushes as one and keeps grouping them all up into an existing preset.

Apr 25, 2013I've loaded a set of brushes I created into CS6. They show up fine in the menu bar brush window, in the Preset Manager, in the Brush Preset palette above my layers palette, but they will not appear in the brush preset fly-out window. This is where I do all the manipulating of my brushes, of course, so this is essential. I have created many, many brushes and done this many, many times and have never had this problem.

Feb 11, 2012In the past I have received requests to make a reflection of a text or an image that has a layer style(s) on them (e.g. stroke, outer/inner glow, etc). The problem with this is, when I go in and make a reflection (I use the layer mask method), the styles are not reflected as they are supposed to.

Dec 12, 2008I'm trying to do the mirror layer effect(vertically) so it looks like the image is being reflected on a shiny floor. With images I'm fine but I can't get around using text with color or effects.
when I use text together with effects like "gradient overlay" with ex. rainbow color it doesn't flip the colors, only the text(yellow on the top on both layers) (look at the picture)
It doesn't matter if the layer is text or rasterized...
Can I "attach" layer effects and colors to the copied layer or do something to get around this?

Mar 19, 2014I have PSE9 and a macbook pro 10.9. I lost the original DVD that came with my purchase of PSE. Some files must have gotten corrupted because I can't open the program without reintalling. It says, "Some of the application components are missing from the application directory. Please reinstall the application." I have the serial number and all and I registered the product. Is there somewhere I can download a new copy to install?

As you can see, the 3D background color reflects slope. Steeper parts are a darker kind of grey than the flat parts.
I would like to create profiles of my own in the same style, with the slope of a portion reflected in its color, so I was wondering if there is a feature in paint.net that allows me to change the color of a line according to its slope. Is it possible to draw a line for the mountains etc. in a single color, and then use some kind of effect or plugin to make the rising sections darker and the flat parts lighter?

Aug 18, 2012I have managed to reflect objects but cannot manage to reflect one object across the Artboard to show up on the opposite side. If you see my image below, I would like to reflect the horizontal stripe at the top of the design and make it appear at the bottom of the Artboard so it finishes the design. Apr 11, 2013When using the gradient mesh tool or paintbrush in Illustrator - the technique is not reflected ACCURATELY on the screen. For example when painting with a red brush - the screen shows a different color. Sometimes a different magnification will resolve the issue other times it will not.
Running MAC OS6 10.7.5 This is currently happening in Illustrator CS6 Illustrator 5.5 is also on the machine too.
Photoshop :: Sort Brushes In The Brushes Palette?
Jan 30, 2006I am interested in grouping and sorting brushes according to size, shape, whatever.
Right now when I add a brush library, they just stack on top of one another.
For example let's say I have a round brush with a 10 diameter, then next to it a round brush with a 20 diameter. If I make a 15, it goes to the bottom of the list, and I have to scroll all around. How can I group them?
I suspect I would have to make my own brush library with my brushes how I want them, then save that and load it?
Revit :: Reflecting Ceiling Plan In Plan View?
May 30, 2012I am working in a project where I need to represent the reflecting ceiling edges in the plan view. I put the first floor plan as underlay, and selected the RCP projection but I don't see the dropped ceiling lines to select them with the linework command. I have done every thing possible with the view range but I don't see the lines.

Mar 25, 2013I had CS5 and downloaded CS6 and now I need to get my presets into CS6 and I followed directions to export and import and migrate as well even drag and drop and only one pattern comes up from the 22mb folder file I had in CS5 that we exported?
Any reasons why this would happen to to fix the issue as well?

Mar 21, 2005It used to be that in creating Photoshop work for video, you would start with 720 x 540 and then re-size down to 720 x 480 to correct for the square vs. rectangular conversion.
Now I see that Photoshop CS seems to have various presets for new files but I'm not sure if the regular DV (720 x 480) and others will work straight away without the conversion process.
