Somehow I have lost the ability to size the right side of my Bridge panel. It is too large and I cannot bring the right side border into view to see my Metadata and Preview Panels.Also the numbering of the thumbnails is lost "off the screen".

I used to be able to do something like effect->3d-> revolve, then go to the actions panel and bring up the 3D revolve, click on it and edit it again. Now, when I open the actions panel the simple 3d revolve is replace with a long long list of actions of course I can't bring up the 3d revolve effect and edit it.
I have removed all of the Illustrator prefs in my library file; but, it still does it.
I just upgraded form PSE 9 to PSE 12 and cannot find where I can view photos side by side. Thsi is something I use all the time and would love to know if it is till there somewhere.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot double click a thumb in the bridge and enter Photoshop cs4. It brings up the Microsoft viewer instead. Nothing I have tried corrects this. I can get to Photoshop cs4 through camera raw, but that means opening all jpegs and tiffs in raw. Can anyone help? Perhaps I will need to download the upgrade to cs4 again. But installing the plugins for fractals and NIK software can be a drag. I no longer have cs3, so I can't revert to it

I just updated to Photoshop CS6 from CS5.1 and trying to iron out a few issues.In Bridge CS 6 my Metadata Panel items are truncated for some reason. There is plenty of room in the panel width, so...? I have even pulled the width out further than shown below. There are no problems with the other panels.
Below are pics of the same panel in my install of CS 6 and then the same panel in my installation of CS 5.1.
I see keywords and Orintatation in the filter panel. But copyright and other things that used to be there are gone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently discovered a 'change' to my 'Source Panel' window when I try to Import new files from my CF cards. I have 4.2 installed. All that is available on the left hand side of this window is the 'Other Source' pull down box and never any file source like my hard drives or CF cards or anything that used to be there prior to about a month ago. I reinstalled this program twice without any changes. Have I shut something off by accident? My buddy has the same program and he cannot find any reason my should be any different than his but it is.

Was just trying to view pictures from my camera in Bridge and more than half of them in this one directory aren't showing thumbnails or EXIF data, just the CR2 icon and incorrect creation date and time (they were all shot the same day, most within minutes of each other, yet they're a week off). If I double click on the icon, the image opens up correctly in the CR2 plug-in. They worked before, I've opened and closed Bridge and PS, I've purged the cache, but it's still not working.
View 9 Replies View Relatedwhy the side view (Heavy Timber-Side.rfa) represents the thickness of the members rather than the face dimension? For example: A 2x10 (which isn't really heavy timber anyway) is shown 1-1/2" thick rather than 9-1/4" when the side view family is used to draw items.
Wish the family names had been a little more logical (i.e. Heavy Timber-Thickness.rfa and Heavy Timber-Face.rfa)
Seems like these families should at least coordinate with the section view so the top view was thin and the side view was wider.
I am a CS6 user, good but not advanced. I recently upgraded from a Nikon D3 to a D4. When viewing D4 files in Bridge after downloading the images (files) appear to contain a lot of noise and to be unsharpe; they appear sharp on the LCD screen on the camera. I believe I have set my preferences properly. When the files are opened in CR or CS6 the noise seems to go away and sharpness is normal; the images print up tack sharp.

In the hole's top view we can select the center hole to attach the section view, but in the side view, i can´t find any attach point, even if i have a center line.
I know we can edit the section line later and create some construction lines to center the section line with the hole, but i wonder, there's a better process, more automatic, to achieve this?
