Photoshop :: How To Make Top And Side View Of Image
Sep 26, 2013
I have a fish image downloaded online and I want to use it to design a fish in CINEMA 4D and animate it but before using that on CINEMA 4D I need to take this image to PHOTOSHOP and extract the top view and save it as a separate image and also extract the side view and save it as a separate image too but my problem is that I don't know how to get the top view and the side view of a photo or image
The attached file is the sample of the fish image that I want to take out the top and side view and save them separately
I just upgraded form PSE 9 to PSE 12 and cannot find where I can view photos side by side. Thsi is something I use all the time and would love to know if it is till there somewhere.
In Photoshop CS5 I could click on a button to view images side by side or above and below. In CS6 my button is gone. How do I view images side by side/above and below?
How do I make the text go side by side when I type? Mine just pile up. I'm using the alt key and the arrows to make it go side by side right now but there has to be a easier way.
how can i change the edit workspace so i can view like that of photoshop cs2 cause i don't really care for this new tabbed interface lol, i'm using paintshop pro x5
I am realitively new to Premire Pro, and have been working on a stop motion project for my HS. I want to have it to where I can have both of my stop motion sequences playing in the same frame, side by side. I have a sequence of my character doing one thing on side, and another one doing something different, and I want to mash them together to look like they happened at the same time. Like I said I am pretty new to Premire pro, and if you need more infromation, let me know, and I will try to provide.
I use both CS5 & LR3 (and sometimes Canon's DPP as an image browser). I want to stop using LR and just have one app (CS5) to manage
I do not need the database & image management features of LR. However, I do make a lot of use of virtual images and side-by-side views (candidate selection & before/after views of virtual images with the original).
How do I efficiently do the same thing with Bridge/ACR/Photoshop?
I just started to use Gimp a few days ago. I am trying to duplicate an image side by side, then rotate the one image....just for learning purposes. However the new box (that should have my duplicate image) Is just a blank outline of the rectangle box. I watched a video over and over trying to get this, and I just do not see any steps I am missing, yet on the video it turns out perfect. I am normally pretty good with computers, but evidently not with Gimp.
Here is the Path: file> open>select and open photo>rectangle tool>outline photo>copy>paste>open new layer>select new pasted layer. Instead of the photo duplicating itself I get a "blank outlined box".
I am sure that you must be able to do it...surely..but how can you see images side by side, so that the original is on the left and the edited on the right?
I want to generate a single image which compares two different images side by side. Can Gimp do this?
There was a tab called "new" which enabled me to generate the white background needed to do the merging. One of those little details the author forgot to mention. They just said " Open the first image as a new layer and move it to the left" without mentioning that you had to find the "new" key and put in the white background first!
easy way to import 2 sets of image sequences into AE and have them side by side, so both sets will be inside 1 frame.Example of what I'm doing is having a phone conversation, instead of switching back and forth between the actors (image sequences) I want to see them both at the same time next to each other.
Somehow I have lost the ability to size the right side of my Bridge panel. It is too large and I cannot bring the right side border into view to see my Metadata and Preview Panels. Also the numbering of the thumbnails is lost "off the screen".
why the side view (Heavy Timber-Side.rfa) represents the thickness of the members rather than the face dimension? For example: A 2x10 (which isn't really heavy timber anyway) is shown 1-1/2" thick rather than 9-1/4" when the side view family is used to draw items.
Wish the family names had been a little more logical (i.e. Heavy Timber-Thickness.rfa and Heavy Timber-Face.rfa)
Seems like these families should at least coordinate with the section view so the top view was thin and the side view was wider.
I would like to create a simple polyplane in the side view in Maya. When I try to do this nothing happens and the software suggests I start on the grid but you cannot see the grid in the side view.
i have been drawing a 3d model and when it comes to dimensioning, i can only do it for the vertical and horizontal distance from the top view. i cant find a way to dimension the thickness of my model from the side or ront view.
The objective is to section a part, selecting a center of the hole (side view, not top view) to attach the section line.
In the hole's top view we can select the center hole to attach the section view, but in the side view, i can´t find any attach point, even if i have a center line.
I know we can edit the section line later and create some construction lines to center the section line with the hole, but i wonder, there's a better process, more automatic, to achieve this?
If I select a "New" document in CS5 I find that I am only able to paint or fill in in grey scale. This is new. In the Color options panel the grey scale slider is ticked and all other options are greyed out.
How do I remove the tick by the side of the grey scale slider and make the other options available for selection as normal. I note that if I open a previously opened document all options are available it just seems to be new blank documents.
I need to put two pictures side by side to merge one person into a group shot. I had it once, but, the image of the one person was too big, and I could not figure out how to put that picture back and get another one to try.
In Photoshop CS6, a very important button is missing from the toolbar — the one to show two images side-by-side or above-and-below, and multiple images in other arrangements. I need this button — it’s an important part of my. (BTW, the button is still in Illustrator CS6.)
Im having a problem editing a photo 'face' one side 'left' side is lighter than the right side because of lighting. I was wondering If I could get both sides even prefably the lighter side like the normal side.
Is this possible? Because everytime I try edit the lighter side it still remains lighter.
I have two picture files and I just want to create one file, displaying both pictures side by side. I have been reveiwing all of the functions in my Adobe Photoshop Elements Version 11 and I can't figure out how to do it.
Im currently trying to draw a layout for a simple angle iron part using the front, side, and angled view. Its a flat part made of sheetmetal and it will get 1 90* bend in it.
My first question is how do i bend a part in autocad LT 2011? Ive been using autocad for years but ive never had a request for an angled view.
My second question is how would i create a layout using all 3 views and include the info block in the bottom right displaying all the info?
