Photoshop :: Disable Bridge Or Another Way To Open Brushes Panel That Won't Open Bridge?
Apr 19, 2012Whenever I try to open the Brushes panel, the Bridge window pops up. I know that Bridge is a media manager, so I'm not sure why is it opening. I really need to edit the brushes and I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way to disable bridge or another way to open the brushes panel that won't open bridge?

May 26, 2013I just updated to Photoshop CS6 from CS5.1 and trying to iron out a few issues.In Bridge CS 6 my Metadata Panel items are truncated for some reason. There is plenty of room in the panel width, so...? I have even pulled the width out further than shown below. There are no problems with the other panels.
Below are pics of the same panel in my install of CS 6 and then the same panel in my installation of CS 5.1.

Apr 4, 2013im trying to make some text appear over a texture, and as I've been using programs such as GIMP and Paint.net before I know from them that you can have layers do this. Layers have depth settings, so layer 1 will be the lowest and so on. But it don't find these settings in autocad.

Oct 27, 2012I'm making order in my older pictures and I was wondering it there is a way to create smart collection/filter to show pictures where file type is equal (pdf or raw or jpg) and where keyword doesn't exists.
I want to make sure I have keywords in every picture now but I would like have smart collection/filter like this find pictures without keywords.
I can lookup files without keyword but all folder, subfolders and other files will show as well.
Photoshop :: Layer Panel Filter - Falls Down When Using Search By Name Feature?
Jun 25, 2013I think the layer panel filter is a fantastic addition to Photoshop but I think it really falls down when using the search by name feature.
I wanted to find a layer called "logo" which I did easily by selecting filter by name and searching for "logo". Voila the layer I couldn't find it isolated in the layers panel.
Now what I wanted to do was move that layer to the top of the stack so I selected that layer and turned off the filter. to find that the layer was not still selected in the layers panel. So now what do I do? I don't remember where it is and the search by name is useless in accomplish what I wanted.
I propose that when I layer is selected in the filtered layers panel that it stays selected and visible in the panel when the filter is turned off.

for example have aperture value at the begining of the list instead file type?or camera data at the top instead file properties.

Lightroom :: How To Remove Blue Filter From Multiple Images In History Panel
Feb 21, 2013I am using Lightroom 4.3 on Windows 7 pc. I have a collection with approximately 650 images. I was working in the collection and had all the images selected. Somehow I inadvertently must have hit a keyboard shortcut that effected all the images. All of the images are negatively effected and they now look terrible. When I go to the History Panel, all the images have "blue filter" as their most recent entry. If I select one image and go back to the step before the "blue filter" everything looks fine again. My problem is I have this effect in 650 images. When I try and do the change in one image and then synch to the rest, I don't know what box to check to remove this "blue filter" that has been added to all the images. I know I can do them one by one, but with 650 images, it's a long and tedious process. Any way I can remove the "blue filter" from multiple images in a collection?

Jul 18, 2012I just upgraded from photoshop cs4 to cs6 and all my "stuff" did not transfer over. By "stuff" I mean my actions, my Imagenomic noiseware and protraiture plugins, and various things I'm sure I'm not even aware of yet...
I've been working with and adding things to my cs4 for so long I couldn't even list them all... I just know I'm going to be missing things. How to properly transfer over all my cs4 files to my new cs6 copy? Is there a link or a blog that tells you how to do this most efficiently? I thought cs6 would overwrite cs4 and transfer everything for me but now understand that is not the case.
(I think I have imagenomic portraiture and noiseware figured out- downloaded new copies of the software). Can I just drag any items from the cs4 files in applications (on a mac) to my new cs6 files?

May 15, 2012purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...

Nov 23, 2013In the attached photo of a spread from album liner notes, you may be able to make out some handwriting (I've outlined the area in red.) I'd like that area to be easier to read than it currently is when printed in a book project I'm working on. How can I lighten that area so the handwriting is readable, without making it feel too bright, and have it still blend with the rest of it's side AND the other side of the spread?

Oct 22, 2012Recently my CS6 has exhibited a weird behavior--when I open a jpeg, for example, only half of the file is displayed--the other half appears as a blank area in the file display area. When I click on the blank space, the rest of the file will appear. Windows 7 up to date, 9 GB Ram, i7 processor. I've been considering uninstalling and reinstalling but fear for my plugins and understand that reinstalls are not straightforward.

But i wanna change the numbers in some part of it.
There are two problems
frist i don't know what font and size of the word is. But i do know it is from Ms Office
second the number are in boxes the numbers are in the same group of line and in the box but if i just remove the number by a rubber and insert number into it then people would tell that i changed it.
i want to remove the color and keep the text and the boxes.
so just make it look like a whote and black paper.
For what i know of if i use Photoshop CS3 andi sure the eyedrop to get the color of the background and the arrow it would give me the color of it and it's RGB. but if i eyedrop this how can i change the color i want to remove?
if it will remove can all the color become white the background and the arrow.
and what should i do if i want to keep the arrow?
Remeber the img is scaned not the orginal word DOC.
if i want to edit the text on the image how do i do that how do i know what font it is and how can i make the excact box? for example the first box is 1 i want make it 20 how do i do that?
Photoshop :: Move Stuff Around
Oct 10, 2007I have recently started using CS2. I am noticing a weird problem when I move stuff around. It is almost acting like its "Snapping". In other words, if I try to move an object, text, selection area or whatever, its jumping about 2-3 pixels in the direction I move it instead of moving smoothly. Its kind of like macromedia flash snap to grid action. I looked all around to try and find settings for the pointer but no luck.

Jul 9, 2012I don't use the Color Sampler Tool much, but In checking something for another thread, I noticed the cursor now seems inconsistent with the cursors of the other tools.Basically, I expected it to drop the sampler on the little crosshair, and it dropped it instead at the end of the dropper.
This used to make sense, and it's still consistent with the Eyedropper cursor (and with prior versions of Photoshop). But I find that now I've gotten used to the other new cursors, most of which now define the hot spot at the upper-left, it didn't do what was expected.

Feb 16, 2009I'm used to photoshop on a PC, and on them ( at least the versions older than CS3 ) if you want to make a selection of something on a layer you just go cntrl click.
But on a mac I'm told you need to select that layer then go select all then use the magic wand tool, which probably won't be 100% accurate.
