Photoshop :: Adobe Opens 40 Tabs
Nov 7, 2013It happened at the color picker stage when choosing the color of my inset shadow on a rectangle. Everytime I make a selection it launches "Adobe help" and opened over 40 tabs on Chrome.

Photoshop :: Adobe CS6 Always Opens A Previous File?
Mar 26, 2013Why is it that when ever I launch CS6 Photoshop does it automatically open a file that I worked on previously? The file (at this point) is always the same file and is was worked on over a month ago.
Photoshop is all up-to-date and I am seeing this on Mac OS versions: OS X 10.6.8 but not on Mac OS X 10.8.2.

Sep 19, 2013issues switching layout tabs by clicking on the tabs?
Occasionally, clicking the Model or other layout tab results in no action, as if I'm not clicking on it.
All other controls (within and external to C3D) function normally so it's not a mouse hardware issue.
It will usually correct itself if I "restore down" the main application window, then maximize it again.
The -layout command is a workaround too.

Jun 1, 2013I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.
I've googled it and seen others with a similar issue but no solutions found. I have OSX 10.8.3.
Others with similar issues. URL....No real solution other than don't use Mac Keeper (which I do not) URL....

May 7, 2009Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

Nov 16, 2008I thought the tabs were a nice idea until I got into my normal workflow, where I depend on dragging one image or layer into the other quite often. With each pic taking the whole tabbed page, that doesn't work.
So I reset the prefs to not open new images in tabs, and if you use file...open, or a shortcut and browse to the file, it works...they open in a window just like always. But dragging in a photo from another application such as ThumbsPlus opens it in a tab, no matter what I set the preferences at.
If there's no way to change that, besides manually going to each one and changing it to a window, i'm afraid I'll let the trial expire and content myself with PSCS3. This makes no sense.
I often will drag several images into PS, and while in some cases tabs are fine, in others they're not, and I want the default behavior to be a new window for each pic, regardless of whether I use file...open or drag it in from elsewhere.
Photoshop :: Disable Tabs?
Jun 12, 2009In Preferences/Interface, I have both OPEN DOCUMENTS AS TABS and ENABLE FLOATING WINDOW DOCKING unchecked. Yet when I drag in files, they TAB themselves! I really don't like tabs, each time I have to manually FLOAT all windows. How can I totally disable tabs?

Oct 11, 2013I can open photoshop but it does not respond to anything, not even the Ctrl key. I have a new pheonix envy and windows 8. I have only used this photoshop program for one editing project. I have tried to reset the preferences with the keyboard shortcuts but nothing happens. I cannot quit the program or close the window. The program is completely frozen everytime I open it and all I can do it restart the computer. What could be causing this? It was working before I edited some photos....

So I try "open with and CC is not listed. So I go to browse and find the Photoshop CC.exe icon under programs and choose it, I can't get it to show in the list. I want to make this my defalult program and it won't work.
