Adobe Update Manager says all programs up to date. Crashes most frequently occur when using Blur or other Filters. 12.0.4 says it applies to AMD Catalyst, but my PC has Intel processor. It says it applies to CS6, but I have PS 5.1.Â
View 1 RepliesThis happened 3-4 times when I was using the trial version and I wasn't sure which program from the trials that was doing it, but it started after I downloaded and used the Adobe Clound trials so I stopped using them. Eventually I went ahead and upgraded to the subcription and have been using Illustrator and Muse for a few days now and have not had a problem until today. I had Photoshop open and minimized, as well as Illustrator, and walked away from my desk. When I returned, the screen was blue with the Windows "shut down to prevent further damage" screen. I have a photo of the message. I realized that I had been using Photoshop the last few times this happened also. It never happened before I tried this software and stopped when I stopped using the trial.

Whenever I launch 3dsMax 2012, it crashes without any kind of error message, apart from the Windows one that gives no details at all.The launcher goes up to the "Starting 3ds Max" step and then stops.I tried to desinstall/reinstall, different languages (I'm French but I'd rather use the English version). I also deleted the .ini just so the program could recreate one but it did nothing.
In fact it worked once or twice, I could launch & use it normaly, but then it stopped working..I'm using Windows 7 64bits SP1 on an Intel i5 2410M, GeForce GT550M, all my drivers seem to be updated, etc.
Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the Video card manufacturer's website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of preferences

I tried re-installing CS6 but am still getting the same error message, with a bouncing Adobe Air icon in my dock.
I'm using CS2 on WK@pro, during startup Photoshop I suddenly get this message " The Adobe UIÂ font could not be loaded. For best result exit the program and either install or uninstall other fonts"Â the system halt, by clicking "ok" the system resume startup and works normal.I have tried everything but can't get rid of this message.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new Dell desktop that runs windows 8. I installed the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection and got a message saying that there were errors during installation and some things might not work properly. I uninstalled and did it a second time. Same message.
I then spoke with an Adobe agent who told me to download a program to detect what the errors were. He said they were minor issues and shouldn't affect the programs. I then spent hours today speaking with Dell on the phone and the rep took remote control of the computer and did a diagnostics check on the hardware. He said everything is fine. I asked him if it might be the video card needing an update so he ran an update. Same issues, no change.
We changed the compatibility to windows 7 and still no change. I then uninstalled the creative suite and tried installing it from the desktop. Still same problems. These are the issues in Photoshop:

1)When using certain tools (transform tool, crop tool) the images goes completely black.
2) The background switches at random- sometimes checkered, sometimes grey, and sometimes black.
3) Color saturation is incorrectly represented. It switches whenever it wants. For instance, when I zoom in and out it changes.

In Adobe Bridge some of the RAW images don't show in the program. Some I just can't open. Others open fine. Those images will open in Photoshop but not in Bridge.
When a user closes ACA 2012 (sp2)he gets an empty crash message.
We are running win7 64bit.
I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.

Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

I can no longer create new images or open existing ones. Instant crash 100% of the time.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf the file size is larger than 15MB it crashes before it opens the file.I fixed this the first time by reinstalling my OS.I fixed this the second time by moving my files from their folder to the desktop then opened it from there.I can't seam to fix this for the third time and I'm soooo frustrated. Upgraded very year up to PS CS. Then my wife became ill with breast cancer (died in 2008 from it), lost my job, lost our family home to for closure in 2010, my 20 year old son diagnosed with luekemia in 2011 (still fighting on chemo) yada yada yada.

Bottom line, I cannot afford to upgrade my Acrobat Pro, my Photoshop, my Premier etc etc etc.We sometimes don't have enough money to eat.

So my pc crashed the the other week. I just finished rebuilding using a new hard drive, Photoshp CS in installed again, and running perfectly. BUT I keep getting a need to activate alert. And can't do it.
I consistently get this crash 3-5 times a day, if not more. Happens when dragging over images from Windows Explorer and dropping into a PSD. Or if I select color picker. And random other misc. tasks that seem to trigger a crash. It's to the point where I sometimes might have 3-5 recovered PSD files.

Recently downloaded CC incl. PS, LR, BR. They all work fine except PS. As soon as I launch it it crashes. Happens in less thana second. What's going on here? Can I re-download PS?

Still works fine on Mac Pro, but has just started crashing at startup on iMac for no apparent reason. Graphic layout comes up and then shuts down. Reinstalled the application with same result.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi moved some files around in my "Documents" folder in win 8 , the next day when I restarted my laptop I got two errors about AAM Updates, so I looked into the folders that I moved around & see that a folder labeled "Adobe" that was usually in my documents folder was in the new folder where is was moving things to, so I moved it back to my documents folder.
I tried to open Photoshop & it didn't open, didn't even come up with a error, so I assume that I should check my running processes to see if maybe it is just hanging but it wasn't even running so I figure next things to dod is check my event log to see what kind of error it is leaving there. So I am left to think that I messed something up by accidentally moving that "Adobe" folder, I was wondering two things...Is there another folder that is placed in windows "Documents" folder besides the adobe folder that I may have not noticed that got moved, can someone verify what folders get placed in "Documents" folder upon installing Photoshop & other Adobe apps & second can I just repair my Photoshop install instead of uninstalling & reinstalling?

Also it my event viewer error log it is saying something about MSVCR100.dll...maybe that is what is crashing.
I have had a problem with CS4 crashing. It does not happen at the same point of operation but it does it often. I thought I had resolved this problem recently when I discovered corrupted RAM I have replaced it. Here is the latest crash report.

I keep getting an annoying crash every few minutes when using my tablet with cs6. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. every few minutes in the middle of work I get a box popping up saying could not reference memory address click OK to close. I've tried making more memory available in preferences and also running the program as administrator but it still keeps happening. A friend of mine is also having the exact problem on his computer when using a tablet.
