And this is a personal project. I want to set up my 2013 Pilot with windows graphic that you can see out of from the inside. Anyways. I cant find exact dimensions to the windows, and it's angled and rounded cornered and I need figuring out a way to make a template I can use for my window design in the future, I will also need to do the rear hatch window as well.
View 4 RepliesI have an intermittent problem. I can't scientifically reproduce it. I use the Space Pilot to zoom and rotate around in my scene. Typically, it works great.
My problem is this: I have all four viewports visible. No matter what viewport I have selected, the only one that is zooming and rotating is the lower right one. My only work around is that I maximize the viewport I want to work in.
This even happens after I save the file, close the program and reopen it.

I was trying to create Aircraft pilot tube using inventor and got the problem of internal tube designing in the connector section. Please see the attached files.
I am having problem designing the internal part of the end connector section where the internal tube from the probe goes up bends and connects to a tube with end connector via an accumulator. (as shown in the picture attached - Pitot.tube_abnormal.procedures-1_A300-600_Prunep.55)

I would like to create transparent graphics for window decals which should remain transparent after being printed on foil. By transparent I mean see-through, e.g. a set of light grey lines that you could actually see through.I am NOT asking how to create graphics with no white background, I would like the actual grey line to be semi see-through. Is this as simple as changing the opacity settings and is it something that is even design related or it is something that is done during the printing process itself?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 trying to use PowerTrace to trace a bitmap image. The PowerTrace window does not display when I select the object; go to Trace Bitmap --> Outline Trace --> and choose one of the types to trace. No window pops up. I can only press ESC to exit the action or ENTER which does a trace but apparently a Quick trace, not giving me the chance to refine the trace.
I'm up-to-date on fixes that I know of. Version is 15.2.0.695.

I would like the whole area outside the drawing window (the drawing page) to be grey, so that it can be clearly distiinguished from the actual drawing page, which is white, with a shadow line around the drawing page.
I have try every solution on the autodesk page about the blank activation page problem and it is still not working for me... I have instal autocad and uninstal it multiple time and I always get the error 2738 (probably related) the program is working fine on the trial but it will expired soon. In AutoCAD LT 2013, whenever I open a drawing I previously created and stored, it opens with a small amout of the bottom of the drawing below the bottom border of the window. Repeatedly I have tried positioning the drawing the way I would like it to open then saving that configuration. That's how I always did it in AutoCAD 2000, my previous version. Regardless how many times I go thru that process, all drawings always open centered horiz'ly but with the bottom bit of the drawing below the bottom border of the window.
I constantly look for a "Center Drawing In Window" button, or "Save Current View" button and so far have found nothing I recognize as such or even close. Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Am I not understanding how it works? In the grand scheme it really doesn't matter because it's simple to pan the drawing into a fully readable scene - but I am still curious.
Multiple objects are selected, I hold shif and cross-window over objects from right to left, I expect everything I cross to be deselceted. I my testing only one item is deselected.
Is there a variable I am forgetting about here or is something a miss?
I am ready to print my stuff. But I have to manually use the pick tool in the print preview window to move my pages around so that they will print the stuff in the center of the pages.
I do my print run. And then save the "Print style".
Come back the next day and I have to re-do all the adjusting of the work again so that it all gets printed. I would have thought that saving a print style would make it so that next time everything is the same as before.
I am wondering, if is possible to move content of print preview window. View picture for better understanding. In version X4 it was possible.

View 1 Replies View Related While making selection by drawing a selection window, the objects often get seelected and get dragged. These objects lie on the starting vertex of the selection window. Therefore I have to find the desired bjects to be selected in object manager lying in haphazard order. Is there a way , the objects don’t get dragged while making a selection window from left to right. That means, the objects get selected which are present in the selection window only.

I recently decided to start using bit stream font navigator, how every when I first opened it and went through the wizard process, I wasn't thinking clearly and I had all my fonts saved to a flash drive. Well know i went to actually use the font catalog and it shows all my 400 plus fonts but there not usable. I keep getting a window that says to insert disc. Even though I have my flash drive plugged in and also moved a folder with all the fonts to my desk top, it still will not recognize the fonts. I have searched and tried a couple things with no luck. I'm running X6 on Windows 8.
View 10 Replies View RelatedLive Composition Preview Window...Vector graphics are blurred even though I have the 'Continuously Rasterize' button selected. I’m using the latest After Effects and Illustrator. Other compositions within the same ae project are all 100%, then when I started another new composition, the graphics are blurred, making it incredibly difficult to work out what I’m animating as I need to zoom in and it blurs a lot. It is not a RAM issue with the MAC. was going great creating motion graphics, then all of a sudden his happens and I’ve tried everything.

Every so often when I open 2013 inventor it freezes at the startup window. the "progress bar" at the bottom gets about 75% across, then freezes. If I click on the window it, a dialog box appears that will let me close the program or check online for a solution. It has happened on all 7 machines here.

It used to be with previous releases of AutoCAD that when I opened the application it restored the window size and position to how it was when I last used it, but with 2013 and now 2014 I find this is not the case.
Basically, I most of the time am happier not having the application fill the full width of the screen, so I have the left side pulled in a certain amount, but not only do I have to pull it in each time, but there is also a small gap at the top, bottom an right side that I have to close up, which is irritating.
If there's a conflict between the UI for teh AutoCAD drawing window and Parallels? There seems to be a consistent change in mouse behavior when the mouse moves to the AutoCAD drawing window when running AutoCAD ('11, '12, '13, '14) under Parallels (5, 6, & 7).
Since Parallels is now officially supported.
I must have hit some combination of keys which altered my interface because Autocad 2013 is acting slighly differently. I can no longer pick Dtext and change its contents directly but must go into the properties tab and change the text through the properties window. When I pick an object my layers scroll windo no longer identifies the objects layer. And when I right click an object I no longer have access to the same set of command that I used to. For example I used to be able to right click an XREF and have the command xclip available but that and other specific commands are no longer available. I am on a deadline and am not able to figure out what is causing this sudden unexpected change in the interface.

Or something.Hit Render frame or even IPR (doesn't matter what renderer I use) and no render window pops up to chew on the image. I get a progress bar and the .IFF is saved in my project folder, but no render window. No error messages that I can see either, maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden my cursor will become invisible. This happens only with AutoCAD. and if I switch between drawing windows it will appear on another drawing file. I have to close the drawing and open it again and then the cursor will be back only to disappear again. The cursor is visible if I move it back to the ribbon or bottom controls. It seems to happen only when it becomes the cross-hair cursor. I can still make selection windows and right click.
Mouse is working fine with all other programs and drivers are up-to-date.
Instead of a window popping up with the hatch settings, I just get the following in the command prompt:
Pick internal point or [Select objects/settings}:

After installing SP3, the Export preview window, as CMYK, shows a black window, but the file is exported correctly. This situation does not happen when the file is exported as RGB. Any explanation why this happens? I´ve tried with different files and happens the same "black window".
When you open a file or import a file the preview window image is blurred. It was not that way in X5.
