I downloaded and installed the 13.0.1.1 patch for PS Windows but the about box still shows version 13.0.1. Did something go wrong or is this normal?
Moreover, contrary to what is announced in the forum header message, using the Help | Updates menu doesn't trigger any update. The 13.0.1.1 update is only available from the Security certificates updates page.
I usually use feature to bring details out from shadows. I worked very well for me but it seems the way the function works was changed in Photoshop CC,
For example, shadows sliders always made dark areas brighter before but in CC the areas often become darker instead (like in attached picture, decreasing radius doesn't make it brighter). Explanation of mechanism behind the new Shadow / Highlights function.
Changing a file association is a simple matter you either do it in Windows Explorer in the properties or just use the edit in command in bridge.Except that neither is working.
Photoshop CS6 is not even showing up as an option in either Explorer or in Bridge but it is ironically working in Lightroom.I know how to change file associations.

View 3 Replies View Relatedusing lightroom 4.3 when I edit a group of photos in lightroom, most of the files will only be edited in lightroom but a few will also be opend into PS6 (by right clicking > edit in>) Once the PS edits are complete the image is saved & I return to Lightroom. When I export the entire group of images - I set the file name to 'custom name - original file number'. The images I edited in lightroom only - all are renamed as expected (ie wedding photo-1234, wedding photo-1235). The images I edited in both lightroom & photoshop receive the custom name but lose their file name (ie wedding photo-, wedding photo-1, wedding photo-2, etc.) When viewing these PS edited images in lightroom - they do show the file #, it is only after export that the file # is lost..
I wish to maintain the file names for all of the images.

Everything is a little greener and a little warmer. I had just exported a wedding that I shot a a few days ago anf I went back to change one shot. I noticed that it didn't match any of the other shots or previous version of that shot. I am an Olympus shooter (OMD E-M1) and I know that Adobe just added new Olympus profiles into Lighroom for the first time. I am not using any of those profiles, just the Adobe Standard profile. I am still experiencing a color shift. I am running an 2011 Imac w/ Maverick, 12gigs RAM, SSD Boot Disc. I didn't have any problem until the update. It is checked, but I keep finding files that "have been changed recently". So not only that it's not auto-saving them, but it is also finding "new images" that "have been recently changed" even though I didn't open or edited them in the past several months..

View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday I attempted at installing the new camera raw updates for Lightroom and Photoshop. I have fully licensed Lightroom 4 and Photoshop cs6 on windows 7 with recently installed , also fully licensed , Nik software plugins.
The Lightroom update was successful with ACR updated to Version 7.4 , while the Photoshop update, although, seemingly completed successfully, did not result in updating ACR, which remained in version 7.3. When I tried to use the update tool again in Photoshop I got a notice that the software is fully updated.
I have tried to download the trial version of PS CC repeatedly. The downloads were unsuccessful but the download window says I am up to date and will not let me try again. How do I work around this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have written a basic web service using RealDWG(.NET) that can update a DWG-file from one version to another with an option to update an existing block attribute. No other content in the DWG file should be changed/corrupted/deleted in a way so it cannot be edited just as before my little service executed and saved the file. The service seems to work fine when using some sample files I have received. I've done a visual comparison using DWG TrueView 2013 and to my eye it looks the same. Any tool that could compare and list if something was changed or excluded from the original drawing?
I see that the file size actually differs quite a bit after saving the file. I expected that the file would be the same size when I specify that it should be saved using the same version as the original file (for example AC1021. I notice that a couple of fonts (SHX files) could not be found when reading the source DWG but I do not think that should have any effect?I see that several dbx files are being loaded when a file is loaded/parsed (AecBase.dbx, AecbElecBase.dbx, …). Do these object enablers require that I add any dependencies to my visual studio 2010 project? At the moment I only have a dependency to acdbmgd.dll. From the documentation I could not really work out if I needed to add more dependencies than the one I have but I might have been reading in the wrong places…
What program(s) were actually used to create the drawings I have tested but the service have to handle files produced with several different AutoCAD products (including different versions). Being new to RealDWG and most things related to AutoCAD.
I have been using LR for ages at work and recently got offered a free full version of LR 4 by Amazon Vine programme. I happily installed it on my laptop and imported my presets which I mostly created myself.I was shocked to find that they look completely different on LR 4 (last version I used was 3.4) and found out that this is due to the new process version.
I have to tweak a LOT and still am not satisfied with the results. The main problem seems to be that ALL photos start with a linear curve, no matter which custom curve the preset contains. Is this a bug or a feature?It is really getting on my nerves and I am considering to go back to good old LR 3 again. Questions I have:
1. Could this problem be due to the fact that I did not to an upgrade but installed a completely new version of LR3?
2. Whenever I google I find the hint that there should be a dialog menue like this URL... this dialog never appears on my LR version. Or it did for the first time and I clicked "Don't show again" - I can not remember If I did chose to not show it again - can I redo it? Maybe it would make the tweaking easier if I had a preview which I absolutely don't have on my LR version.
When we insert a Revision Table to a drawing we have the option to update Revision Number property in the drawing. This property is updated whenever we add a Revision Row.
I want Inventor to update the Revision Number property in the model the same way.
If this is not possible, is there a way to automatically map the Revision Number property in the drawing to the Revision Number property in the model?
When I updated lightroom to 5.3 I did not update all the catalogs that were operating in 4.4 how do I update those catalogs.

I tried to update the catalog.I received the message that LR encountered problems when trying to update the format of the catalog file and cannot use this catalog in this version of Lightroom. When I click on the See Adobe Technote button, I received the message that that file is unavailable from the Adobe Website. I don't want to loose all my catalog information from my previous instralling of LR2.7.

I downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.
I am unable open some part files and assebly files which are made in 2012 version. I have 2011 version.
