I am trying to make a logo size of 1500 bye 400 when i go to colour it all in black its ok but when i add text its fine then when i go to add photos to it.keeps going on to double size page
I like to have more than 2 photos in the logo
Do I need to change settings as it was working fine for me before as am trying to make logos for my envision free board.
how to add a transaprent overlay logo to the main photo.
What I want to do is take one of my photos of my pet parrot and turn it into a sort of tranparent overlay and copy / paste it quickly and easilly onto all my other photos..........sort of like a "this is my calling card" to stop other people pinching my photos (not that they are that good though).
I've seen on the net how to use the text copyright logo tool on CS2, but can't find anything anywhere about how to use one of your own photos..........

My question is if I have a piece of line artwork that's 7x 8.5, the standard font size we use is 12. Yet when I type it into the artwork, it looks like it's size 6 comparatively.

Then I need to delete the original (background) one, which would be the template.
However when I delete it, the entire picture gets deleted, i.e. also the photos I pasted on top of it.
How can I avoid that?
Additional information:
Very strangely when adding a new layer, though in the layer screen it shows that I am adding them,
when I paste the first photo onto the background, it then becomes the background image, rather than layer number 2.
Adding layers to a chosen background I find that the pictures I have chosen to add, whilst looking ok in My Pictures are way to small in the layers pallet, If I try to enlarge them to fit they just go out of focus and pixelate?. something tells me they should all be the same file size how can I convert them, and is this the answer?.

If I open a jpg file and draw a single line just a few pixels long, when I save the file it doubles in size (as in disk space, not pixels). How can I prevent that from happening.

I found - Grain Generator at [URL] ...... but it does not allow setup a spicle/grain size only 1pixel. I want dirrerent and random sizes from 1x1px up to 4x4px size.
Can it be simply generated in PSP X2/X4 or some good even online generator?
I have PaintShop Pro X3 and pretty much all the other programs. I scanned lots of photos (6*4) at a 300 dpi which works out at about 11 meg each photo (i think this was overkill!). However, when i created a slideshow these photos are shown as about one quarter sized. Is there any way i can correct this ? Should i for the future scan at a different dpi ? I want to view the images as a slideshow and am not interested in printing them.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am planning to get some photos printed on vinyl wallpaper. The physical dimensions of the wall paper will be 1300mm x 2500mm and as I am ordering it online, there is an upload restriction of 8MB (file formats allowed are .pdf .jpg and .zip).
I would like to collage multiple images to create my wallpaper and plan to resize and edit each image before collating them in one large image. Then I will resize that image to be the final one (if that makes sense).
What I want to know is, is there any simple way to work out what my final image's pixel width and height will need to be to fit the 8MB restriction? I have no idea what the printing dpi is, the website only indicates that images should be 'at least 4MB for good quality'...which means nothing.
Ideally I would like to work with a starting image with 4x or 16x the pixels so it resizes nicely...I just don't know where to start.
i currently have a logo that is 460X440 pixels and 12.17cmsX11.69cms and the resolution is 96 pixels per inch.
i am wanting to change it into a 2cm X 2cm avatar that is less than 6K in size,
how do i do this? everything i try makes the output file about 24k in size.
the reason i am doing this is the forum i regularly post on has a max avatar size of 6k.

Now I cut and pasted it to a youth flag football team pic in the corner. But because I captured some of the sky in the background, the yellow STEELERS logo kind of blended in at that point as seen here (I cropped out the team and am just showing the corner):

When I checked out the file sizes I noticed that their size seemed to be at least a gig (1GB) bigger, sometimes doubling in size. I know it's not layering, images or xrefs or anything like that. I've dealt with this problem before by inserting the patch URL... However it doesn't seem to work anymore; I think it's because I upgraded to Windows 7. I get this error when I try using the patch.

I created some type layers in Photoshop CS6 and the flattened. I made the background transparent. there it shows checkerboard background.then I imported to PP and added to the video track, but instead of just text, the background is white, blocking out the video entirely.
