I would like to add a snow effect to the tops of my text on my logo, is there any easy way of doing this, or a way of getting a professional look?
I dont really want to change the font, just put the effect over the letters..

I created some type layers in Photoshop CS6 and the flattened. I made the background transparent. there it shows checkerboard background.then I imported to PP and added to the video track, but instead of just text, the background is white, blocking out the video entirely.

I have a client that wants to add "save the date" to their engagement photo that was taken in the snow. We can't use a board or our feet to "write" in the snow as it is hard to see. I figured I could photoshop it in there to make it look "engraved" in the snow. I've inserted a sample image of what I'm looking for of a similar picture I found online.

I'd like to put my nonprofit's logo or the name of the event inside a snow globe. I've played with various tutorials on creating custom globes, but I think perhaps it would look best with an actual photo. There are a few nice images on istockphoto.com but prefer I waste credits, I'd like any advice on how to make my image look realistic (so the logo or text looks like it is INSIDE the globe and not on top).

My boss received a Christmas card from the graphic design company we use. It had a picture of a snowy field on the front, with her name 'in the snow'.
It looked very effective, as if someone had actually been in the field and dragged their feet to write her name. I tried to recreate it last night but couldn't get it looking that good, mine basically looked like I had dropped 3D text on the snow!

Now I cut and pasted it to a youth flag football team pic in the corner. But because I captured some of the sky in the background, the yellow STEELERS logo kind of blended in at that point as seen here (I cropped out the team and am just showing the corner):
Is there a way to select this logo by color and at the same time maybe widen that selection by a few pixels to capture some of the black around the STEELERS logo so that when I transfer it to the team pic, it stands out more by essentially creating a border around it?

Most logo's I've worked are 2D and I've never had any issues that I could overcome ( I learn as I go along) however I have been given a logo which has the Extrude & Bevel effect on (which I haven't worked with before) (see first image). I have to make this logo much bigger but when i do it stretches and reshapes the logo. (see 2nd image).
The scale stroke & effect box, is checked. I am working in CS6. So how do I resize this logo proportionately?
I am trying to create a logo that looks like it is branded into a piece of wood. I created my logo, powerclipped a darker image of the wood inside, created an embossing effect with a lighter and darker version offset from the main logo. Now I would like to "roughen" it up a bit to look more natural - following the woodgrain, and more "burnt in".

I'm playing around here in Axis with the surface set to Bicubic but I'm moving around the corners and handles and can't really achieve a realistic look. Text nexer is visible on the photo Background image. If the edited image is saved, the added typed text is not saved; only the original Background image. While adding text and applying (experimenting) various "Effects" with the text, I used the garbage can icon to remove the "Effect", thinking it is going to remove the 'Effect" from the text, until I realized I had to remove the "Effect" with the edit button, not the garbage can. Have I now permanently removed the various "Effects" permanently or just off the screen? How do I regain them back onto the menu column? How many "Effects" should be visible in order to have the complete set? This was my first experiment with the lettering effects and hope I haven't lost them forever.
