I need to produce a text logo with the first half of the canvas background black with white text, and the second half white with black text. Do I split the background or join two individual canvases together ............ or something else?
View 3 RepliesWhy does pse 10 use black background with white text. Its harder to read and customers have complained, why use it when everyone knows black text on white background is easier to read. For example this discussion board is after all black on white!
I am using the trail version of pse 10 and its great but I don't think I will purchase because of the hard to read text.

I recently downloaded Photoshop from the Cloud. When I try to use the text tool the whole canvas turns black. I can turn it back on by toggling the eye open and shut on the layer but when I try to write text again the screen turns black again and soon as I click the image.

Before long I was up to 100 pages, looking fantastic. But then the thought come to me, I have set may page colour to BLACK and all my drawing and text are WHITE as I said looks fantastic until you go to print a page. How much black Ink would you use printing 100 pages black.
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN COREL REVERSE THE LINE ART TO BLACK AND THE PAGE TO WHITE SO I CAN HAVE A PRINTABLE VERSION ?
I have tried publishing to PDF then in acrobat replacing document colours and on screen that works fine but when you print it still prints

Using Elements 9 I was adding black text to a .jpg image. Somehow during the process, the text being entered defaulted to a "wavy, illegible set of characters". Spent 30+ minutes looking at FAQs and have given up. I want to reset to default simple clear black characters. Closing and restarting Elements does not resolve this issue. When ending a newly entered set of text - still get "wavy, illegible set of characters!"

Why can´t someone invent a sigle button for this I have tried all the things by the book but still when I try to lay text image with white background over an image the white is still there althoug I made it transparent. tried to sa for web as png-8, png-24 and gif. nothing works. View 8 Replies View RelatedAlright, with out pictures, let me try to explain what I'm trying to do I'm trying to create a black and white (grayscale) top-down gradient of half a cone.
I select a circle, and using the cone gradient, start from the middle and go outward to the edges. Great so far, I have a top-down cone, but what I really need is only half of that, as if I was creating a top-down volcano with the top half sliced off and a flat rounded middle.
This is becoming a bump-map so the RGB value must match perfectly the highest point of the gradient with the sliced off part.
I am trying to put text with a black light film in the background at the bottom of the picture and I cannot do it. I don't know how to isolate the portion of the picture I want with the text with the light black background while you can still see the picture through black background.

It will not print the text from vertical dimension strings, and cuts off some M-text at an imaginary vertical line in the middle of the text box. PDF's of the same drawing look fine. Is this a printer driver issue? Is there anything I can do within AutoCAD?

I tried to change it in photoshop, however, when I slide the "opacity" and "fill", the text got ligther as well.
Do I need to have the original psd.file to be able to do that, or can you please lead me through with jpg file? (I tried to save the jpg to psd and png, but it did not work.)
