AutoCAD LT :: Set Text Layer Color To Black Or White
Aug 3, 2012
I am trying to draw some red signs with white lettering, but my text is always black in paper space whether I set the text layer color to black or white. How do I make a white layer in paper space?
Sometimes it appears that the white/black color combination that is automatically selected in layer mask editing may override the selected color combination outside of layer mask editing. Â Example: 1) Open Photoshop. 2) Select two colors: white/white. 3) Create two blank documents, each with an empty Layer 1. 4) In one document, add a layer mask to Layer 1. The colors should have been automatically switched to black/white as the layer mask is selected. 5) In this document, use the gradient tool to fill the layer mask with black/white. 6) Switch to the other document, and notice that the color selection is again white/white. 7) In this other document, use the gradient tool to fill Layer 1. Notice that the layer is filled with black/white instead of white/white as selected.
I have a multilayered psd file. All layers should remain opaque except the black to white gradient layer where I need the white to be transparent. So that when I place the final psd on top of a block of solid colour in Indesign the gradient shows the background colour through where the black fades off.
I scanned a black and white print in color and am trying to replace all the black with dark green. Been trying for hours in elements 9. This is all so hard. Just to ask this question I have typed it into 3 different screens, set screenname, many other hurdles.
i've set up two ctb files one color and the other black and white . is it possible to assign drawings on the same sheet , two different ctb files so that one prints in color and the other black and white.
I am very new to photography and Lightroom 3.4 64 bit. I have a photo of an apple on the table. I want to get the photo black and white (did that already). Now I want the apple it self to remain its own red color. How do I do that? Â Also, I have this apple and its reflection is on the knife that is cutting the apple. How can I get that in color too?
I just finsihed setting up this new computer. I reloaded AC 2012 LT. I need to reset my settings. I do not rmember how to change that black background to white.
Started producing a new catalogue some time ago very happy working away on the first 3 – 4 pages
Before long I was up to 100 pages, looking fantastic. But then the thought come to me, I have set may page colour to BLACK and all my drawing and text are WHITE as I said looks fantastic until you go to print a page. How much black Ink would you use printing 100 pages black. Â
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN COREL REVERSE THE LINE ART TO BLACK AND THE PAGE TO WHITE SO I CAN HAVE A PRINTABLE VERSION ? Â I have tried publishing to PDF then in acrobat replacing document colours and on screen that works fine but when you print it still prints
With the black background and white text for some reason. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
I have a color picture which I took, of a red berry bush. I want to remove all the color except for the red from the berries. I know how to lasso the berries, but I can't remove the color from the bush/background and leave the red berries.
Note: I did this once a couple years ago, and can't remember how I did it..I have some memories, but probably remember just enough to make me dangerous. I have done some searches but obviously the results are numeorus and I haven't found what I am looking for yet.
I know the solution involves selecting the berries and then inversing it and then setting all 3 colors to 0 for the background.
What I can do is 1) lasso the berries
2) inverse what I can't figure out 1) it seems like there was 1 step about layering which enabled me to get started, but I don't remember this, it does seem like I am missing something very basic when I try to do this
3) Where is the color scale, the only thing I can find is the grayscale option which switches the entire project to black and white.
I'm new to Map 3D and not to Civil 3D. I connected to a roads and streams shp file from a ArcGIS directory. Everything came in great and I even was able to get everything named all at once from the attibute directory. The problem is that the features seem to only plot in the colors that I see them as. If I change them all to black, then I see can't see them at all. I have been spening the past 3 hours trying to get them to jus plot black. We also have to stick with stb plot styles in our department.
I am trying to bring in a couple of Tiff Images into autocad civil 3D. The issue is when I preview the image its in color, however when I insert it into Autocad it is black and white. Is there a way to change the image in Autocad to show up in color?
The modal dialogue for Black and White has the "Colorize" option and for that "Hue" and "Saturation" sliders.
But Black and White as an adjustment layer in the adjustments palette does NOT offer the Saturation slider. At least not in my CS4 Extended on Win XP. There is the targeted adjustment tool (TAT), but it changes color, not saturation.
I am trying to make a black and white image but leave certain aspects of it in colour. I did this yesterday by applying a black and white layer and then using the eraser to get colour back. However, this no longer works for some reason. I have also tried to use the history brush tool but that doesn't work either. I'm kinda a newbie so I think I did something last time that I'm not doing this time.
I am looking to change a color logo to bw. I wanted to use the black and white adjustment layer but the option is greyed out. Is there a step I am missing? The file is cmyk and is 8bit. I am using PSÂ CS6. What do I need to do to make this option available?
There is a photo I've downloaded from the Internet that is by a photographer who shoots in Black & White. However, when I print out the photo it comes out sepia. I tried adding a Black & White Adjustment layer, but when I go to click on the button in the adjustment palette it's grayed out. I've tried this on other photos of the photographer and does it fine.
I can't seem to get the black and white filter layer to work. When I click on "tint" a strong yelowish tone appears. When I slide the color sliders to alter the tint absolutely nothing happens. I have tried clicking on just about everything I can find in the B&W filter dialogue boxes to no avail.
I have a stock image which came with an alpha mask as a separate black and white jpg. I want to put the black and white alpha jpg on the main image as a mask, but I can't figure out how to make a regular bitmap layer which is black and white into a mask. I don't seem to be able to use this method: http://photoshop.weblogsinc.com/2005/08/16/photoshop-tip-using-one-layer-to-cre ate-a-layer-mask-for/ because that seems only to work with transparent areas, not black and white. Any Ideas?
I tried to set a color photo over top of a black and white one to airbrush away enough to expose the backround (the grayscale pic) but when I tried to copy onto the first layer, it turned my color photo to grayscale. I tried this with the gray pic locked and unlocked. What did I do wrong, or can this even be done?
how i can take a picture and get especific objects and keep them in color and change the rest to black and white? Its one of those cool effects dont know if u guys seen it...thanks
The question that i have is, how do you do the effect, or is it even an affect where the whole pic is black and white but there is 1 color that is not. like from the attached pic you can see that the red is showing. you can see some on my skin and some on that red tape thing in the background.
OK So I’ve been looking and searching around this site to try to get to know it. I found so many things that I'll use!! One thing I found but couldn't get to much detail on is coloring a grayscale image.
How do you get the hair color? Do you really need to Zoom in and just go in to detail? I guess that's what make a great Artist..
I want a plugin that make the black and white (pic. 1) pictures to color pictures (pic. 2) like RED or what hex you add in. Opposite of Black and White addon (pic. 3).
I need to produce a text logo with the first half of the canvas background black with white text, and the second half white with black text. Do I split the background or join two individual canvases together ............ or something else?
