Before long I was up to 100 pages, looking fantastic. But then the thought come to me, I have set may page colour to BLACK and all my drawing and text are WHITE as I said looks fantastic until you go to print a page. How much black Ink would you use printing 100 pages black.
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN COREL REVERSE THE LINE ART TO BLACK AND THE PAGE TO WHITE SO I CAN HAVE A PRINTABLE VERSION ?
I have tried publishing to PDF then in acrobat replacing document colours and on screen that works fine but when you print it still prints

View 5 Replies View RelatedI created a logo and then opened it as a layer so that I can make a website header image. It is shown here [URL] and as you can see the background is an off-white colour. It is probably unnoticeable to many, but I would prefer to get it right. How can I make the background a pure white so that it blends in with the white of the wordpress theme?

lower layer: text on white background with a freeform line around the text (this page I created in iStudio, with the text block irregular on both right and left, the black line curving around the text)
All I want to do, before I add the next layer, is highlight that line and make it a little bit lighter (in blackness).
I can see various ways to select the line and its curvature, but I don't know how to lighten the color of the selected line.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am creating animated buttons for my new topsite pages and cannot seem to rid my image of the white border around the logo in both layers. I first used the polygon lasso tool to crop the logo from the original image and pasted it into a transparent background. I then turned it into an animated gif. Any ideas on how to remove the white edges from around the black ring of the logo (see image) I've just about tried everything I can think of. You probably cannot see what I mean with this background, but on a darker background like blue or green it is really noticeable.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI made a logo using elements. I have tried numerous ways to make it transparent but when I put it on my pictures there is a white square box that appears with it. I want my whole logo to be transparent. I have saved it png, png 24. And still nothing works. How to get this box to disappear. Just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong I took a photo and made the background transparent and took the selection that was not and put it into a different photo and the white square edge was still around it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a simple JPG file that is a black and white logo, which I want to change the colour properties of in Gimp. But the colour range isn't true black and white, so using all sort of different methods such as magic wand selection, colour to alpha etc results in either really messy looking images or a lot of faffing around to correct the final image.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a black logo with complex lines, text, etc. The only copies I have of the logo are with a white background (probably from having been saved on a document page?). View 2 Replies View RelatedIm working in Illustrator CS5 and I've designed a logo for a client and want to send a version that is in color, a version that's black, and a version that's white. The color and black are fine since they already stand out on the default white/transparent background. But i want to put the white design on a background that will make it visible. Is there a way to set up the document so that the background is a color so that you can see the white design, but when it's place into another document it's just the design and dosen't include the backgound?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using live paint to paint cartoon character illustrations. The artwork is brought into Illustrator CS3 and live traced. Then I convert it to a live paint group and use the paint bucket to fill. Everything looks fine no matter how much I zoom in. If I bring the AI file into Photoshop CS6 I can see a thin white line between the black line art and the fill. This is most noticeable where black meets black. I can also see this sometimes in file previews while browsing through files. If the white line cannot be seen in Illustrator is the file ok? I did just upgrade to CS6 if that would make a difference.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm creating two websites for two different clients, and both gave me scanned copies of their logos. I converted them to GIF, JPG, BMP and PNG (from MS paint program), followed all the directions found online in various combinations to remove the white background from these logos. Here's a sample of what I did:
import logo; edit bitmap; change background; used magic wand on white areas; close paint & export doc. I've tried various combinations of clicking on options like transparency, masking, changing the tolerance and nothing works.
On one the white background simply won't go away after saving to my desktop, and on the other there is a grey/white checkerboard pattern on the background.
When it's all said & done, I need to upload these to Wix.com as a PNG.
I'm at my wits end been trying to do this for two days after work, wondering if Corel is even capable of doing this, or if my clients' logos are just unusable or if I'm just losing it.
I am new to the forum and new to CorelDRAW X5. I use CorelDRAW to laser engrave text and logos through an engraving machine. Most basic logos are easy to convert right through CorelDRAW, but today I ran into a serious issue.
I received a logo that was very detailed in color and also had numerous different shadows in it. When automatically switching to black and white, the colors get very warped and the shadows take over the entire logo.
How do you go about switching a logo like this to black and white?
just downloaded Paint.net a week ago. I am trying to convert a color logo from it's original design to a white log over a solid background, like the image attached. I need the solid background separate from the logo so I can change the color.
