Illustrator :: How To Make Separate PDF Files Instead Of One Multipage File
Nov 27, 2012Every day at least a dozen times I print spot color separations for film through the print dialogue to pdf, and every single time I have to either print the spot colors one at a time, or open the multipage pdf in Acrobat and use the clunky extract page function to get separate files. Is there any way to just get it to print separate pdfs?
Then I have to rename each sep to have the color in the file name. If there was a way to automate that?
Paint Shop Pro :: Can't Delete Files After Editing In X5
Dec 5, 2013Sometimes after editing jpeg files in PaintShop Pro X5, attempting to save them raises an error and they can only be saved to a different file name. After closing out of PSP, the original file cannot be deleted in Windows Explorer. Shift-Delete removes the file from the list momentarily, but a refresh brings it back. Normal delete (to Recycle Bin) raises an error that admin authority is required, but clicking to proceed fails. Starting Windows Explorer as administrator does not resolve the problem. Process Explorer doesn't show PSP or any component of it that I recognize still running (and perhaps having exclusive control of the file). After a reboot, the file can be deleted. I have observed this problem on both machines where the software is loaded and registered. Both machines are malware-free. Both are running Windows 7 x64 Home Premium. Could very well be a Windows problem, but I don't have a similar problem with files that are created or modified with any other application.

Oct 5, 2013I have CDGSX4. I've been trying to edit some of my Canon Raw (CR2) files. However I get this purplish haze covering my images I think it has to do with the Raw File driver. I've noticed this with PSPX4 and also the trial version of CDGSX6.
The image is from a Canon T4i (650).

Is it possible to do a multipage scan in Photoshop 7 and to have all the scanned pages saved as one PDF file. At the moment I can only find a way that gives me the same number of files as I have scanned in.
The reason I am having to do this is because I am having a problem with the scanning facility in Acrobat 8.

Nov 22, 2011I found myself in the situation today of having to make a multipage pdf document from many individual images. There were over 100 images of each page and I didn't like the idea of manually creating new pages, dragging the images on, resizing and aligning each time etc. probably about an hours work or more. Luckily there's a way to do it in less than a minute using the autoreplace name used in photo galleries.
Here's the steps on how to do it.
1: On your first page drag on any one of the images, position and resize it accordingly.
2: Apply the name autoreplace to the image
3: Select and drag all the images from your folder onto the first image
4: Choose duplicate page from the dialog that pops up
presto a 100+ page document that can now be saved as a pdf.

Oct 30, 2013I need to be able to convert documents (.pdfs or anything else really) into multi page, CCITT group type 4 .tiffs. I've read that this is possible to do in Photoshop, but when I tried downloading a trial on my computer, I wound up with a corrupted hard disk (unfortunately, this is also on my personal, not my work computer), but no functional software. How to get Photoshop to run without destroying my hard disk, I'd like to find out if it's worth the trouble.

Dec 18, 2012I was victim to the MS update that wiped out all the fonts. I undid the damage with a restore, it was the only way for my X64 Win 7 system. Now, suddenly, making multipage PDF's is a nightmare. I have always used the same process and settings on the PDF converter (been doing it since X3 with no issues) Now, I cannot set the settings to get a normal sized PDF... they usually are 5 megs for a 5 page pdf... now they come in at 35 megs? It's always ignored the graphic items I have placed off of the page... now, it appears it's including these items and I cannot figure out how to adjust the settings - I've tried everything.
The only work around was to save the file under a new name, delete all extraneous graphics off the page, then make the PDF. It comes out as it should if I do that. I've never had to do that before... it's always simply used the graphics on each page when it's checked as "pages 1-5".

Jul 26, 2011If you have a multipage document such as the plans for a house you can have a different scale factor on each page if you turn off "All pages in document the same" in the Options dialog's "Page Size" tab.
Then you can set different scales on different pages. E.g. 1:100 for house floor plans and 1:500 for site layout plans.

Mar 5, 2010Often times when designing a logo I create different versions and variable options on layers. This can result in several layers in one Illustrator file. Is there an easy way or an existing script that will allow me to (with one click) create a multi-page PDF consisting of all the layers within my .ai file? The current method is turning on each layer, performing a save-as (PDF), then turning off said layer and turning on the next layer and repeating the task and so-on-and-so-forth, etc … It becomes tedious and quite often I save over the previous version, forgetting to re-name it or forget to perform a save on a certain layer. I have never written my own script before but am not opposed to trying, where do I begin?

Aug 5, 2013I have multipage (16 pages) document with linked frames of paragraph text. Every page consists of 2 linked frames of paragraph text and second one is linked to the first one of the next page. When printed, it prints only first two pages as a whole. And the 3-rd and all the others prints only first frame of the page and two rows of the second frame of the page.
Is this my printer (Canon LBP3010) or the CorelDRAW ?
BTW: Paste 16 pages from WORD to Corel X6 takes infinity and crashes. In Corel 9 it takes about a minute for 80 pages!
Paint Shop Pro :: Editing The Photo
Jul 3, 2012I am working on a photo of a city skyline that I took. I am looking to superimpose blue sky and clouds which normally isn't a problem if there were only buildings. The white spaces in between tree leaves such as palm trees are especially challenging to fill. They can be hundreds of distracting white spots in the scene to fill .

I create a plain white background.
Click on the "Text" button and add some text.
Click the green "Apply changes" and then do something else e.g add some graphics etc.
How can I then edit the text that was created (Correct a spelling mistake, change font size colour etc).

Aug 1, 2013I have several thousand photos and I need to edit the names with some system that uses my time efficiently. In the past I used windows explorer, which allowed me to modify groups of titles but now I just updated to windows 7 and it does not seem to allow that. Is there some way with Paint Shop Pro to modify the names of groups of photos - extract certain characters or words, add other characters or words, etc?
Or perhaps there is a photo organizing program that provides that kind of tool?
Paint Shop Pro :: Editing Two Images On Same Screen?
Dec 3, 2012I'm a longtime user of PSP 8 and just downloaded the trial version of PSP X5, thinking to buy it. With PSP 8, if I wanted to edit two images on the screen at the same time, I loaded them both into the program and then used the minimize button at the upper right hand of each image to switch them out of full-screen mode and put them next to each other. PSP X5 no longer has the minimize buttons attached to the images. I can tab back and forth from one image to the other, but I can't figure out how to put them both on the screen simultaneously. Is this feature still present somewhere in PSP X5? How do I access it?

In the past, I'd take the jpeg produced by my camera, convert it to PSP format, and then when finally finished, save it as jpeg again.
I understand that the PSP format is no longer used, so should I just work in jpeg format? My understanding is that any intermediate saving would compromise image quality; if not jpeg, then what?
Paint Shop Pro :: Will 599dpi Be Affected By Editing
Feb 1, 2012I scanned some old pictures at 600 dpi. Using a Canon CanoScan LiDE 700F and PSPPX3 Ultimate.
I had to take the bmp images out of the temp folder last night since I need to shut my computer down. The bmp files were the scans, but not exported yet. They open in image viewing programs, but they are not cropped or anything.
I wanted to export them as tif and jpeg files. Then I'd edit some. I was wondering if this weird dpi number they now have at 599 instead of 600 will be a problem. Could an image viewer, editor or editing, etc maybe have issues? Or dpi being moved, rotated, effects applied, etc would be a problem? What about using it in a program like CorelDraw, would that have issues?
Paint Shop Pro :: X3 - Freeze Up After Editing Image
Jul 18, 2011Since installing X3 I edit an image ... save and then try to open another image and the program freezes ... everytime. I have to end the process and restart the application. Never had this problem with Paint Shop Pro previous versions. I'm very close to uninstalling and asking for a refund. The install and patches ran fine. Running on XP SP3 ... 3+GHz machine with 4 MB RAM ... Dual Core.
There is no error message. I can see the progam in task manager using 25% CPU with memory usage climbing. I've waiting several minutes and the program does not return.
Paint.NET :: Editing Green Screen / Layering?
May 21, 2012When I open up the image that I want 2 use 4 my background the image fills the (working) window. Then, as instructed, I go in2 "Layer" & import the pic w/the green screen background. But when I then go 2 "Effects" & choose/use ChromaKey (again, as instructed) the background pic is now only a small square in the upper left hand corner of the window & the rest of it is white. Therefore, my pic/finished result has a background w/a little square in the upper left hand corner & the rest is white?

I do stop motion and have a lot of images that i need altered in exactly the same way but i need a more simple way than 1 at a time.
