I'm running Win 7 on an 64 bit OS machine. LR 4 doesn't display the App control buttons in the upper right hand corner controlling CLOSE, REDUCE and MINMIZE the App. Clickingblindly in their location does nothing either. I can find no way to get them to be functional.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEach time I open a second or third file in CorelDraw x5, the windows seem to lose the top MIN, Max Close icons. You know the ones that sit at the top right of each window. Because of this I'm unable to close or edit the work. In fact NOTHING works. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with a TON of memory.

View 6 Replies View RelatedA friend asked me to create a logo similar to The North Face by using a song name. The upper right corner needs to be rounded allowing the color fill between the two silver parts. It looks somewhat ok, but as you can see it is not very proportional. I tried the aics_scripts file that I found from searching, but i can't get it right, most likely because the curve in the logo is not perfect. I have linked jpegs of 2 possibilities - the third image is made from creating a border in the appearance but then i cant get an additional outline around it with the silver color

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently found out about the 3D features in Photoshop and I started to experiment with them. I've created some nice extrusions. However, when I try to start the render of my current project, it waits a short while and then continues on rendering the rest of the image, leaving a grey box in the upper-left corner. When I zoom in, I can see that the texture is in place and the box starts at the border of the 3D object, not at the border of the image.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64, Intel i5-2430M (2.4 GHz), nVidia GeForce GT555M (1 GB) and 8 GB of RAM. I've rendered my other projects successfully with the same settings (all highest quality, though very slow). Could this possibly be a bug in the software, is it an error of mine or is this 3D document just irrenderable?
My stats are being show, but the text is yellow....very difficult to see against a light background. I haven't been able to find a place to change the text color.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHave been using Xara products for years and currently on Photo and Graphic Designer V7.
Normally, I have the three windows icons in the top right (minimise, maximise and close) and these normally operate on the whole of the Xara window. (If I minimise, then Xara minimises to the task bar and I see my desktop etc.)
However, today, if I click on minimise, then the drawing (within Xara) minimises, and I'm left with the Xara window but no buttons to minimise, maximise or close the whole window .... it's just there and the only way I can see behind it is to drag the sides in or use FILE / EXIT to close the program.
If i zoom in image so it's bigger than "Fit on Screen" then if open/create or go to other opened image and return to 'zoomed' one, PS reposition area i see to right upper corner.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I first installed Photoshop CS6 Extended on my Mac it had a bar running along the top that had the program name in it (Photoshop) with the red, orange and green, close, minimize and maximize buttons in it.
Somehow I have turned this off and the three buttons no longer show. Below is an example picture of the bar I'm wanting to turn on: I have the application frame turned on and they still do not show.
Been using PSP since X2 and never had any real problems, but I recently purchased and installed x6. It started giving me a problem I couldn't live with so I uninstalled and then reinstalled PSPX6 Ultimate. That didn't fix the problem tho.
My problem: when I click on minimize, maximize or close, nothing happens. Repeated clicks of maximize has more than once even closed the program altogether.
As I mentioned, re-installation did not fix it, although the first time I clicked maximize after re-installation it did work. Then it quit.
I almost always work with multiple drawings in the same Autocad window. Often (maybe 2/3rds of the time?) when I have one drawing maximized inside the Autocad window, the minimize-downsize-close buttons disappear from that drawing's window. The only way to get them back is to cascade the windows.

For some strange reason, if 2 or more drawings are open & I minimize a drawing, it removes the minimize, maximize, close buttons from the right top side of the screen like in the attached picture. To get them back I have to go to the window pulldown & select the drawing from there. I'm using windows 7 pro with a nvidia quadro 1000m card.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen exiting a drawing by clicking on the small X in the upper right corner of the drawing, my program routinely "stops working". I get the error message that it has stopped working and it closes. No chance to save work in other drawings open at the time. I often have three or four drawings open so my only workaround is to go through each and save, then close the one I want to close, let the system crash and reopen the other drawings. It does not crash every time but several times a day.

I could swear there used to be the standard Browser control of - + and reduce box in the Top RH corner like in any window and every other adobe product. However, I got a virus it was hiding in Adobe reader. I believe I cleaned it as I scanned with two different virus companies. Both came up nothing found. Cleared my Temp folder, dumped trash after un installing AE. Re installed AE and still no window control?
Plus in my system start tray where my programs are where Adobe Master Collection Folder is I open that an my AE icon is a generic icon, although it will work as a shortcut.
The other thing is that it is evident in my task bar as a 'pinned icon' Here is a screen shot of AE with no + or - in top corner...

I also lost Adobe Reader as I had to uninstall as that was the Trojan file home. I stuck the disc in but did not see the icon to re-install.

My work bought me a huge new Thunderbolt monitor yesterday, so I took advantage of the real estate and expanded my Layers palette to be very tall, and along with several other adjustments, saved this out as a custom workspace. Today though I am working only on a laptop offsite with no Thunderbolt and the bottom of the Layers palette is offscreen where I can't get to it. I know if I change workspaces to one of the Adobe presets it will give me a standard size Layers palette, but if possible I would like to work within my custom workspace and just change the height of the palette.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWorking in LR 3.6, if I export files with "minimize metadata" checked, I loose the tags. The only way they stay in the exported JPG is if I enable that check. But I don't necessarily want all my EXIF data available to everybody.
Is this problem resolved in 4.1?
I see the file number come up in upper left when in Loupe view. This is nice. Today I was projecting for clients and the file numbers did not come up for a while and I was getting flustered. Finally, they did start appearing. What is the rhyme or reason is this?

I draw square. The 1st point and last points are left-top and finally set 5 points.The direction is clock-wise and made closed path.To get smooth-curved polygon shape, I used API 'PointsToCurves'.But, the first and last points are connected by cornered (not smooth) point. Here's result.
Maybe, I must set that square is closed path, to API, but it seems to be no parameter to set.So, I want to know how to get smooth corner shape every corner.I use SDK CS5.
I am duplicating a painting using my Canon 5Dmk2 and some studio lights. I mounted the 22x28 inch painted canvas to a flat wall. I then mounted my camera on a tripod, perpendicular to the print and the same exact centerline. I used two soft boxes on opposite sides of the painting for even, non-reflective lighting. Then, I metered with a flash meter and shot the painting at 1/160s, f11, ISO 100. I got a perfect exposure. I even used Live View on my camera zoomed in tight to get a super accurate focus.
When I bring the image into LR4 (or LR3), the lower left hand corner was quite soft, but the rest of the image was tack sharp. I figured I screwed something up so I reshot the image. I remeasured everything to make sure all was flast, square, true, etc. Then, I shot the image with two very sharp lenses—Canon 100mm f2.8 macro, and Canon 70-200mm f4L lenses, both set at 100mm, f11, 1/160s, ISO 100.
When looking at the image on my camera LCD, even zoomed in to max close-up, the entire image is sharp. When I import it into LR, that corner goes soft again! At first it displays sharp, but as soon as the software zooms in, it goes soft and stays soft. I tried enabling and disabling Lens Correction, but that lower left hand corner remains soft no matter what I do. I really don't think it is the lens, camera alignment or the exposure, since it displays sharply on the camera's LCD when zoomed in tight. Both these lenses are very sharp, and besides, I left some headroom on all four edges to avoid possible softness or vignetting.
I make heavy use of image stacks. After some time I want to clean up my catalog. Therefore I'm looking for a "reduce stack" feature like in "Photoshop Elements Organizer" that keeps the top image only and deletes all other images of the stack.
Is this feature available in Lightroom 5.2?
Need to reduce the size of my raw images in lightroom slideshow to show on a 13' mac air, what size looks great?
